emerald is this kid with pointy yellow hair and LONG sleave dress. That or he's Wally.

Silver is Kanon guy with red hair and black coat. He makes a brief appearence in the Raikou special.

Green is actually Gary.

Blue is the cute girl with brown hair and a white hat with a blue skirt. She never appeared in the anime but in the manga she does.

I'd just like to point out that Gary in Japanese is the original Green (Blue in American only). Yellow is basically Red again, and I never thought of Richie as representing him- good theory though!

Silver did appear in the original Japanese opening credits for the Legend of Thunder special, which among other cool stuff chronicles Jimmy's training career, and defeats Jimmy's young Cyndaquil with a Nidoking. This implies that he is a more experienced trainer than Jimmy in his anime form, and he didn't steal a starter at the time of Jimmy beginning like in the games (since Jackson and Marina recieved the other two at the same time). He hasn't had a speaking role in either language of the show, which is a shame really, because he could have been a great addition to the Johto saga.


The new Green from FR/LG is a girl who has not yet appeared, and Emerald in the games is just Brendan with new clothes (May's Emerald equivilents also never appeared). In case you need to know, Wally has also not yet appeared in the anime, and Brendan has only had a couple of swift movie cameos.

Pocket Monsters Pikachu is basically R/B/G all over again, only with a few minor tweaks - making some stuff similar to the anime. The character you're playing as is the same one from R/B/G (really, it has the same plot as them overall...Also considering it's set in the same region and the Yellow and R/B/G character live in the same houses in Masara Town, etc.), which the G/S/C games (set 3 years after R/B/G/Y) calls him Red.
