You know when you stay still in a grass patch and then you hear a pokemon cry? i was wondering if when you hear that cry the next pokemon you find is it. can anyone confirm this?

Well, I don't think so. The creators just to make the game sound more realistic. For example, sometimes you can hear a Lati@s in an area and not see it in a battle.

EDIT: I just tried it, I heard a wierd sound, but the next pokemon I say was a Shuppet,female,Lv28. Good enough?

It happens sometimes, but purely by chance. A lot of times I might here a Geodude while I'm walking around in the game and the next pokemon I meet is an Aron. Like -Volt- said, it's probably just put in the game just to make it more realistic.

Yep, like people have said, it's just an addition that was added to the game to make it seem more realistic. And now that that's said, this can be closed.
