Just a short question

Is there any real downside to trading my team members over to R/S to make use of the move tutor there (the one who you pay with heart scales)? I ask because I don't want something weird to happen, like coming back as outsiders for instance, or having the recorded birthplace lost from memory, or pretty much anything at all. The only thing I can think of as happening is them maybe getting a little less happy, which I can fix. I just want to be sure about that.

Yes, because that requires you to trade. There is a perfectly good Move Tutor on Two Island, why not use that?

Because Mushrooms are harder to come by then Heart Scales thats why not use that...

I haven't ever had any problems and I've got 381 pokemon I trade All over the place on a frequent basis.

You should have no problems at all, even my Ho-oh off Colloseum still is recorded as 'Obtained in a fateful encounter'. Other Pokemon from Colloseum say they were obtained in a trade but the location is still kept.

They are attached to wild Pokemon, mostly Paras and Parasect. Plus there's Small Mushrooms and Big Mushrooms. Heart Scales are only attached to Luvdisc.

My advice: Keep them on your game, find as many Paras and Parasect as you can, take their muchrooms and move tutorize!

Well actually, aside from not knowing about the fire red tutor (forgot), I also needed to trade to evolve a feebas via beauty evolution.

Well some pokemon can only relearn some move in FR/LG whereas they can't in R/S/E/colo/xd.

what blaze boy said, pokemon may learn different moves in different games, check the dex on the main site for more info but in R/S/E heart scales are a lot easier to come by than shrooms in FR/LG, heart scales may be attached to wild luvdisc but u can find them all over the place like under rocks, theres one in lilycove city under a rock in the bay
