• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

Just call me Noob

swalot=yes

<-Get in ma bella!
Hey, this is my UU team. UU=yes. Kind of weird that Primeape is the only real UU in this team. The rest are bottom of the barrel NUs. Woo Hoo! Feel free to criticize me! Be blunt, harsh, and call me names! Examples include "Noob, super noob, lol noob, nooblet, noob sucker, and my personal favorite: Haha, your dumb."

Primeape @ choice scarf
Ability: anger point
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 attack, 252 speed
- close combat
- earthquake
- stone edge
- ice punch

Physical sweeper, I send this one out first. I didn't want U-turn, because I have been able to get a super effective hit in on every lead that I have fought so far, even though his coverage is only ok.

Manectric @ Life orb
Ability: Static
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 sp. attack 252 speed
- thunderbolt
- charge beam
- flamethrower
- substitute

This is my special sweeper. Slim picking for the movepool. You can tell what all these moves do. Charge beam is there to take out pokemon that are just on the brink of fainting.

Kecleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Color change
Nature: Careful
EVs: 240 hp 252 sp. defense 16 attack
- magic coat
- focus punch
- sucker punch
- substitute

This is my special wall. I really like to send him out on choice specs sweepers, because of his ability, so when I do, I can get a chance to sub, then focus punch the incoming opponent after they switch. 240 hp evs were all I needed to create 5 subs, so the rest went into attack.

Cloyster @ Chesto berry
Ability: Skill link
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 hp, 252 sp. defense
- ice beam
- rapid spin
- rest
- spikes

Physical wall/spiker. Pretty obvious. I chose chesto berry over leftovers because I've never had to rest more than twice, and if the opponent lays down a set of rocks or spikes, I can't send shedinja out. Cloyster can already take physical hits, so I gave it sp. defense to make it safer.

Shedinja @ Focus sash
Ability: Wonder guard
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 attack 252 speed
- shadow sneak
- x-scissor
- swords dance
- toxic

This is my late game sweeper. I take him out when I'm sure that there are no pokes that can beat him, swords dance, and sweep. Toxic is for pokemon who resist or are immune to shedinja's stab's.

Swalot @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid ooze
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 defense 252 sp. defense
- encore
- counter
- yawn
- pain split

Yay! My favorite pokemon! I really like swalot because of his fabulous movepool. My ev's were for maximum pain split efficiency. Encore and yawn are for obvious reasons. I really love counter because nobody suspects a 3rd gen only tutor move. I have been using a traded swalot, so I don't know if a swalot with these moves is legit or not. Please tell me. Thanks!

Hey Swalot. Whats up.

For Cloyster I suggest replacing Ice Beam with Icicle Spear. This lets you break any Subs and takes huge advantage of Skill Link.

Maybe switch Kecleon for Gardevoir. With it's Trace ability it can rally help counter top uu Pokemon

Another thing I suggest is making Primape late game in place of Manectric and making Life Orb Ambipom your lead.

Ambipom w/ Life Orb/Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
Moveset:
Fake Out
Payback
U-Turn
Double Hit

Fake OUt takes advantage of STAB and Technician bringing it to 90 base power. Payback also takes advantage of Technician with it's base 50 power bringing it to 75 power before you get hit and if you get hit first then it's 100 base power. U-Turn is for scouting puposes and Double Hit with Technician and STAB brings it to a total of about 157 power after the 2 hits. This is key to breaking any early subs.

Hope I helped

Everyone may say they are stupid, but NU/UU owns!

Anyway, They only thing I can suggest since this team is so unorthodox is signal beam on manectric, just for type coverage.

You could even do choice specs overheat.

Witch of 'Cos

i love the pee pees
I'm agreeing with the above posters on a couple of things.

-Icicle Spear over Ice Beam on Cloyster. This is because it will take advantage of Cloyster's higher Attack stat, and allow him to destroy some threatening UU pokemon such as Mismagius by breaking their Substitutes.

-Another couple of options for Special wall include Chansey, Regice and Hypno, all boasting decent stats and usable movepools.

-If you do decide to go with Ambipom as you lead, I suggest usind Taunt over one of the moves said above. And if you do choose to do it, sack Shedinja.

-I recommend Hitmonlee over Primape, for one reason. Power. Hitmonlee has insane power when given either Choice Band, or good power and good speed with a Choice Scarf, acting as a decent revenge killer.

Hitmonlee@ Choice Scarf
Jolly / Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpD
~Close Combat
~Stone Edge
~Earthquake
~Blaze Kick

Boasting a huge Attack and decent speed, Hitmonlee make a great user of a Choice Scarf. Close Combat is the insane STAB move, while the other three round off a good coverage combo. SE hitting fliers, EQ poisons and Blake Kick Grass. The nature choice is up to you, whether you prefer speed or power.

All I got for now.

Hope I helped!

(ps. I'm taking yo' sig')

Yeah when I suggested the Ambipom set I ment to put Taunt in there. Thats the set I use with my Ambipom. Or I mean this is at least:

Fake Out
Payback
U-Turn
Taunt

OF course I use payback mainly for leads like Azelf in OU so that can be changed around accordingly
