Novice Spriter
I also sometimes make sprites bigger than 80X80. There's no point of trying to make it smaller. Eventualy a new pokemon game will come out with a bigger max pixel size.

Anyway, It looks very good. The only flaw I can see is the right hand. (his left) Even if the thumb was tucked in the palm like the other hand, it should still be visable underneath the middle and third claw. That way it would feel more like a hand and not just 3 claws sticking out of an arm. Overall the sprite is very good, and the shading is amazing. :)

Heh, they remind me of eachother. :) But you're a talented scratcher (much better than me) and i enjoy your pokedex style display. but i guess i should help you too instead of just wasting your time, i say you could lower the amount of highlights on Frozleaf some parts of her body are okay without so much lighting, her tail takes away from her face and rest of her body. but that's criticizing as if were a piece of art because that's the only way i can. keep @ it.

Great work, Northern Lights! :) What program did you use to make these sprites? Photoshop or MSPaint? Either way, it's really well done. Looking forward to your fire starter! ^_^

PS: I tried to download your template, but got nothing except a small white square when I attempted to open it in MSPaint. What gives? :confused:

Omg, you seriously have some good scratch spriting skills. I envy you! I love the fire starter! It's just it's eyes kinda scare me... but that doesn't really matter anyways. On the dog's final stage the ears kinda weird because they're coming out from the top of the head rather than the side of the head. Do you know what I'm trying to say? lol, just making sure.

yes i do, and thats because they were orignal gonna be like horns ... but they kinda morphed half way through .. ¬.¬ im lazy and im not ashamed of it XP so i'm not gonna change them
