If those things on his head are supposed to be ears, try moving them a bit and making them look more liek they're connected to the head then just floating behind. Other than that it's not bad. Kept it up

Alright I think this one is perfect.

I find that Charmander is the simplest sprite to work off of.

No, don't use the same wing, it would still look odd. See how the charmander is facing to the off-left with it's mid-right facing you? Look at the wings on Charmander's back. See how one kinda faces to the left, and the other to the right? You'd want to switch the wings since you have the wings on the wrong side. Basically, you'd just want to switch the wings around. ^_^ Do remember to keep things facing the same direction.

Try not to just copy and paste parts, and definetly, as Autumn said, never flip parts and use two of the same. It doesn't look natural. But for your first sprites, these are actually quite good. Good work - keep it up!
