• Hi all
    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Hello all, first time poster.

I have been playing pokemon for a good 11 years now. and i always thought of how cool it would be if pokemon existed.

Every time i think about it, the kid in me says "man that would me awesome."
lol

anywho, do you think itd be awesome if pokemon were real?

I would go with Charmander. Charmander just seems like the perfect poke companion. and charizard is awesome. :D

well, if it had to be a proper starter, then either Cyndaquil, Totodile, Bulbasaur, Torchic or Turtwig

however, if it could be any pokemon, then Kecleon or Sableye

and yes, it would be awesome :D

Other than that - I don't think pokemon should be real. They'd replace animals and then we'd have to eat them. o3o

Ah, if only it were true. I would totally have a slowpoke army of laziness.

However, we would have to worry about PETA more. Imagine a gym fight with one of their mombers trying to stop the fight.

...okay the would be hilarious to see, but you get what I mean.

This world would be 10x more screwed up than it already is if pokemon were real because most people are not as kind and caring as the people in the show and games. But if I had to choose a starter it would definitely be Squirtle.

I would like to use a real Bulbasaur in my garden, as a favorite starter. (and pokemon)

I having been thinking of this concept over and over in my head for years! thats like the single greatest dream becoming reality! I'd start with Charmander, you know, going around, being a Pyromaniac, burning buildings, then have like the Fire-fighters pop down with the entire Squirtle evolutionary lines, I'd fly away like crazy once my starter becomes Charizard! Or I'd catch myself an Abra, evolve him to Alakazam, and get revenge on my teachers! Yeah, like natural disasters are all caused by Legendarys and stuff, like a Tsunami is caused when some guy accidentally pisses off his Kyogre.
