here are the first 5 installments of my sprite comic, about a group of pokemon and there random adventures. Pretty much all sprites are my own excluding a few trainers and their pokemon. Anyways I want constructive criticizum(sp.)
so please review.

Once I get some feedback I'll do character bios and all that stuff
*also if you're gonna post about the mixes, post about quality. If you don't like my sprite style than too bad.

Maybe you can't read the text because YOU DIDN'T PRESS THE MAGNIFYING GLASS ON THE WEBSITE! I don't what your talking about with the sprites. I've recieved almost all positive comments about my sprites from friends, family,
other forum members from several websites

-No speech bubbles. Use them, they help
-Badly placed text. People read from left to right
-Bad backgrounds. Not only you used 2-tone Paint backgrounds, but you used too real backgrounds, that aren´t the same as sprited ones
-Bad sprites
-Paint effects, use real ones instead of lines with no sense at all
-Line (And bad ones) based sprites, VERY bad idea
-Completely random
-And you have to listen to Constructive Critism, it is a rule

what is a real backround? I'm very new to sprites and sprite comics, could you explain what line based sprites are, and what you mean by paint and real effects. Also, it isn't completely random. If it was completely random it would start with felix, jamo, and isaac talking, then the magma guy fell from the sky for no reason, and they magically teleported to Kapato, instead of using transform. Just because it is abstract, doesn't mean it's random.

Well, they have no shading, no outlines.
That boat thingy had too thick outlines, they weren´t right, and it hadn´t got anything on it

sorry about the madness. Maybe the magnifying glass would work if I switched to imageshack.

What are you talking about with the outlines? They all have black and colored outlines. If you didn't notice they're all mixes. And I'm quite aware I suck at drawing. That's why I try to stick to sprites.

This comic is bad. The mixes aren't good. The backrounds are absolutely horrendous. I recomment using a premade backround.
It doesn't really make sense. Sorry, but this needs ALOT of work.

Please explain why the mixes aren't good, and I'm quite aware that the backrounds are terrible(do you know any good premade ones?). How does it not make sense? It has a reasonable storyline, an abstract but not random flow,and the characters are naive but that's just their personality.

I asked for constructive criticism, not bashing. Why are the sprites bad? I would except something like
"the mixes seem odd due to the combonations. You should also add textboxes, they'll make it easier to read

No, I didn't. Look through the fan comic forum. One Kapato Addventure, at least as far as I've searched. And in this thread there are SINGLE COMMENTS.

Some of the mixes are bad because they are 2 colour schemes which looks like you put no effort into it. Recolour them into 1 pokemon scheme. Not all of them are bad just some, the likitung Parisichu thing for example.

The backgrounds are horrible too. Its OK to use 2 tone backgrounds if you can't get proper backgrounds that fit the occason but if you do use the 2tone version, Don't use eye-stinging Paint default colours. Look at a tutorial for an example on what colours not to use.
The motorboat thing... WTF? Seriously you need to add shading and draw it pixel by pixel not a big thick line.

My final point is your inability to take criticism, you made quite a few excuses. Just because someone hasn't made a crit before doesn't make their first invalid defaultly. And if people are saying your mixes are bad then you should take it upon yourself to find a tutorial or something and find out what you're doing wrong. Otherwise you'll likely suffer more reviews like my one. The brutally honest kind.
