Oh wow great pic of one of my fav pokemon! I cant think of any crit although the shadeing could be a bit more detailed.

I think your drawing of Gardevoir looks pretty detailed, except, the arms are a bit too wavy.. I think the elbows should be a bit more stiff. :) And, like eevee-me said, you might want to add a bit more shading at the bottom of it's dress. Otherwise, I really don't see much wrong with it, good job. ^^

Gardy's body is a bit too fat. Her arms look like they're attached to her neck, and they too, are a bit to fat. Her waist needs to be skinnier as well. You could go darker too and add more shading.

It's a cute picture though. I just love Gardy. Just work on a few things I listed. :)

Short story: Practice some anatomy and perspective.

Long story: Well, for one, Garde is not short and fat. It also looks like her arms have no bones in them whatsoever. Her red plate thing isn't supposed on her left side of her chest. If you see how Garde is at different angles, the red thing actually sticks out of her, like how it does with Ralts. Her hair is also a bit lop-sided. The left side is much bigger and longer then the right. The plant is also left un-shaded in the edge/middle of it. What I would do in the future is look up some ref pics of whoever you're drawing. Maybe eyeball it to get the feel of the character (though don't post it here, as eyeballed art is mostly frowned upon ;) ). The scan is also too light, a simple "Edit>Auto Levels" will do a nice job to darken it a bit.

Other then that, Garde is sweet. :3

Thanks for the comments, people! ^^, hopefully it'll help me improve! ^^

Now I know the proportions are way out, I had a real hard time doing the body, and also, my scanner's not very good at picking up colours ^^;

And everyone, I'm not very good at gardevoir, since this ish only meh 2nd time drawing her without copying a picutre or anything, and finally, there's something really wrong besides propotions with the body, but and can't place my finger on it ><

Lined paper = No. =[

The face is lopsided…well, at least her chin is. It’s also too brightly colored to convey sadness. It needs more blue, not the light blue you used, but darker blue. Press down harder and color more thoroughly. Maybe it’ll cover up those lines on the paper. I don’t understand why the green abruptly transitions into a more yellowish tone, but it’s not working very well. As I mentioned earlier, more darker colors. Mix the blue with the green in the shading to get an overall more somber atmosphere and set the scene.
