A.k.a The return of The Eevees That Bind

    [spoil]Plot-

There are many legends within the world of Pokemon. From the tales of legendary Pokemon, mythical Pokemon, and local mythos, there are many things that affect the world. There is one legend, hidden deep within the archives of the Canalave Library, about the Pokemon Eevee. It is said that every century, there are eight Eevees that are linked together. Each Eevee holds a special shard within their soul, the essence of one of eight types. When Arceus created the world, and divided his eighteen plates to build this world, he placed a shard of each plate within the planet. These shards worked together to shape and mold the world. However, something amazing happened. Eight of these shards molded together, and formed Eevee. Now, this Eevee was a lot more powerful than the modern day Eevee, and was considered as powerful as some of the elder gods. Arceus, fearing its power, split the soul into eight parts. Each portion of this soul eventually became an evolution of Eevee, and the species came into what it is today.

It is believed that these Eevees have influenced the history of the land. They have, as their power and influence is a lot more than one would think. Their trainers, known in this mythos as harbingers, gain the powers associated with the Eevee’s soul. Each trainer’s soul becomes bound to the Eevee’s soul shard, strengthening it. However, the Harbinger’s soul and the Eevee’s soul is one of the same. Each Harbinger will be drawn to their Eevee, and become influential in their region. However, due the rapid industrialization of the world, the harbingers powers have become useless or irrelevant. Over time, the world have forgotten about the harbingers, they too becoming part of the legend.

Now, the world once again needs the Harbingers. A storm is brewing deep within the region of Kyushu. A prosperous region with a variety of flora and fauna, Kyushu has been a popular tourist destination within. However, dark secrets are within this land. Legends hidden deep within the core of the region threaten to destroy the world. It is up to the Harbingers to uncover these secrets. You are one of these harbingers, even so you yet do not know it. Being invited to Kyushu, you take the opportunity to expand your horizons, with the one condition you bring just your evolved Eevee. Little do you know, you are the world’s last hope.

    Geography:
    [spoil]
The beginning of the region is Luxaris city, a city with many tall buildings, and is the size of Nimbasa city, the region around it is flowery fields and a few Cypress trees. Then from the left of the city is route 401, and then up is route 402, both are lines with flowers and houses. Route 402 has a ranch. The north of that is Windrift Forest. A forest with high winds, almost no access to the sun, and its thorns and vines create a labyrinth. In the middles is Windrift town, the second gym, which is modeled on Fortree city from hoenn. The right part of the forest is covered in snow, and the left part is a giant maze of roses. Left of it is route 403, a small, open route leading to the Kyushu plains. The plains is a huge, grassy region. To the bottom exit of it is the safari zone, and in the middle is Petalli city, a city famous for all of the different flowers that grow there.

TO the top is a huge Elevation spike to the Frigi mountains, which contains a huge network of caves, and an underground lake. On a small outlook on the mountain is the Shoko Base, which is like an Indian cite, but with influences of the dark and night. At the top of the highest peak is the temporal shrine, the resting place of a great and powerful deity, and a portal to the other world. The Frigi mountains are naturally covered in ice. The route between the Kyushu plains and the Frigi mountains is route 404, and that has a mountainous structure. To the left of the Kyushu plains is route 405, which has dead trees and gravestones on it. It enters into the Lunar Graveyard, a place surrounded with broken graves, and an eternal night. It also has other common graveyard stuff in it. Inside of it is Corrosion, the small town that corrodes away at your insanity, and has a demonic Bell Tower that can be seen anywhere from the graveyard. To the south of the Lunar Graveyard is Route 406, which is a mixture of Desert and Graveyard. It then enters into the Shashimi desert, which is famous for its giant bones of water Pokémon, high rock structures, and quicksand pits.

To start where we left off, Oasis Outpost is a small outpost in the middle of the Shashimi Desert. It is next to an Oasis, and has Palm trees and the usual works there, including the gym. The route the exits out of the desert is route 407, a sea route with a bunch of underwater cliffs. This route is also known for its underwater Waterfall. It leads into Pearl Suites, the largest city in Kyushu. It has hotels, malls, boardwalks, piers, the Aquarium, and a gigantic Lighthouse. The city is made out of ivory, which was easily mined from the sea in Kyushu. It gives the city a luxurious glows, and making it visible from the Frigi Mountains under sunny conditions at night. North of it is Route 408, where the Safari Zone is located on, this route is more of a Tropical Rainforest route. The Clamperl tube, connects to the Pearl Reefs, a place where trainers can dive underwater to look for rare treasure and Pokémon. An underwater route exists there, called route 410, Which is lined with Coral, and leads to the Kyushu trench, a place where Many mysterious powers and presences are located . Route 409 is actually on the water, and has many little islands that connect it together to Pearl Suites. There it leads to Pearl Bay, where many small islands can be explored.

Now, route 411 is located to the right of Windrift forest, and is a sort of mountain path. It lead's onto a peak called "Trickster's bounty" Where many unnatural phenomena occur. To the south of the peaks it route 412, a sort of dry land route that leads into the Socliate Ruins. The Socliate ruins are a new discovery, and many routes and even a city has been built in the recent span of years. This has led to the creation of a tunnel to the small ocean area around the ruins. The tunnel is blocked by an ominous gate. Once inside the tunnel, trainers have the choice of going to the south, Route 413, or north, route 417. They're basically the same, just narrow water passageways. To the south of route 413 is the Savior Trench, a much shallower and friendly trench then the Kyushu trench. To the right of that is route 414, a route with a bunch of water ores, and ends in a tunnel into Gearmound city, and underwater city of people who have lived isolated from Kyushu for thousands of years. The city is pretty advanced, with monochrome buildings and gears hovering around it.

TO the north of Gearmound city is route 415, which is a simple water route with nothing special. There is a Lagoon trainers can surface onto to restock equipment and heal, called Wallace's Lagoon, named after the Hoenn Champion who found it. Going back underwater, and to the left of Wallace's lagoon is route 416, which is a gigantic kelp forest. Then, an underwater volcano exists, called the Cone of Shellder, named after the variant that live on Slowbro's tales.

TO the north of Trickster's bounty is route 418, a mountainous canyon route, to the right is 419, a forest route, 420 is a coastal route, and 221 is a wasteland route. Route 422 is a route that looks very similar to how the Paralyzed World looked like in PMD2, which is where everything is all black, and rocks are floating. It even feels like it doesn’t belong in this world. At the south, is a place called Hell's Abyss. Its contents in unknown to man... but they say that nothing has ever returned from the Abyss, making it a very guarded place.

The three islands are off the coast of route 420, and can be reached by the route 423, a simple water route. the first and middle island is Honey Island, where a bunch of Combees and flowers can be found, and the scent of honey is dominant, the southern Island, access by a bridge, is Hibiscus Island, which is a ranch, and has flowers of its namesake all around it. The northern island, Orchid Island, is like a giant chess board, with everything in black and white

Victory road is located on the bottom of the flying Pokémon League, it has rooms from all the various environments of Kyushu. Then the Elite 4 and Champion reside in a type of Castle, where a trainer has to face the many dangers in the castle to reach them. [/spoil]

    Harbingers-

[spoil]Harbinger of Flames- The owner of Flareon, and the soul of the fire spirit. The Harbinger of Flames has control over fire and heat. They can easily create small amounts of fire and warm things up, but, they usually have to rely on their Flareon to pull off more power effects.

Harbinger of Waves- The owner of Vaporeon, and the soul of the water spirit. The Harbinger of Waves has control over water. They can easily manipulate water and control it in a variety of ways; However, their control radius is small and usually rely on their Vaporeon to have greater control.

Harbinger of Storms- The owner of Jolteon, and the soul of the electric spirit. The Harbinger of Storms has control over electricity and small storms. They can easily make electricity and small thunderstorms, but these are weak and not very effective. They usually need their Jolteon to accelerate their powers.

Harbinger of Mystics- The owner of Espeon, and the soul of the psychic spirit. The Harbinger of Mystics has small psychokinesis. They can lift objects with their mind and create small constructs, but need their Espeon to unlock their true potential.

Harbinger of Shadows- The owner of Umbreon, and the soul of the dark spirit. The Harbinger of Shadows has shadow manipulation. They can control others shadows, but only to a small degree/ They rely on their Umbreon to enhance their abilities

Harbinger of Woods- The owner of Leafeon, and the soul of the grass spirit. The Harbinger of Woods can create natural life and control plants. However, this is similar to the Mystics’ ability. As such, the use of their Leafeon is necessary

Harbinger of Frosts- The owner of Glaceon, and the soul of the ice spirit. The Harbinger of Frosts has control over ice and cold. They can create small amounts of ice, freeze water, and make things colder. They well need the help of their Glaceon if they want to use more powerful abilities.

Harbinger of Dreams- The owner of Sylveon, and the soul of the fairy spirit. The Harbinger of Dreams is a master of illusion, and is good at creating them. However, they can’t prolong or affect a wide area. Unless they have their Sylveon assisting them. [/spoil]

    Kyle Everitt
    Harbinger of Storms
    Luxaris City

There was a sense of grandeur and beauty within the city. While skyscrapers reached for the sky, the architecture of the city was beautiful. All of the windows, beams, and bricks shone like stars, illuminating the city even in broad daylight. Wandering the streets, the small boy and his Jolteon were awestruck. The largest city in his home region was Goldenrod, but it paled in comparison to the design of Luxaris. The streets were paved with cobblestone, giving a rustic feel to juxtapose the more modern feel of the buildings rooted within the ground. There was a mixture of flora and fauna everywhere, with trees, flowers, and various small flying types seen on every street. While Azalea was small and comfortable, there was something captivating about the size of Kyushu's capital city. While not even a quarter of the size of the metropolis that was the Pearl Suites, Luxaris stood its ground as a decently large city, similar to Goldenrod or Nimbasa. Kyle couldn't really explain the feeling that was rising in his chest, but, he felt like he was finally home. Something about Luxaris, something about Kyushu as a whole... captivated him.

He looked down at Volty, who seemed happy enough being next to his trainer. The Jolteon often looked at the small Pidove and Fletchling that frequently flew overhead. The blonde simply laughed at the motion, and continued on with the exploration of the city. There was a new thing to see around every corner, from beautiful gardens and parks to grand libraries and shopping centers. There was a rustic feeling to this, as if he was visiting a small village in the Kalosian country side. However, the skyscrapers consistently reminded Kyle that this city was a lot more modern than what most of the scenery would imply. The teen continued on with his sightseeing, occasionally having to move his bangs out of his eyes. He then felt his stomach rumble, and decided to visit a restaurant.

Walking into the building, the duo was greeted by a hostess, who guided them to their table. Kyle sat down in a chair, and then felt Volty jump into his lap. It seemed lonely, for the boy to be without human company for a meal. However, he enjoyed the electric type's company as much as any person would give him. He looked at the menu, and decided what he wanted to order. A simple hamburger, but he enjoyed them. It reminded him of all the good times during high school. He, Stan, and a few others would often go to the local burger joint on Fridays. it was the group's ritual, of sorts, to get burgers after a week of school, then head off to the football game. It was simple, but the blonde still has fun. Of course, it helped him with Cain's disappearance. He understood Abel's death, and realized that it was pure accident. However, the other twin's disappearance would still torment Kyle. He missed his brothers deeply, and if Stan wasn't there for him... He didn't know what he would of done. Of course, Volty was always there, but at times he just needed to be held and told everything would be okay. Stan did that, and the boy already missed him. Grabbing his PokeNav, Kyle shot Stan a quick text with the usual flare, with status updates and "I miss you"s and so forth.

He stopped the conversation when he heard the plate be set on the table, and a small bowl sat on the floor for Volty. Telling Stan his goodbyes, he started to eat his meal. It wasn't the same as it was back at home, back in Azalea. It wasn't super cheesy and lacked serious grease. It was a well thought out burger, with care put into the ingredients and assembly of the dish. It wasn't the same, it wasn't really what Kyle wanted. He was distraught. Everything he knew was gone, but, he was moving towards his own future. He was stuck at the crossroads, knowing he couldn't go back but he didn't have the guts to move forward. He tried to force a smile, but his lips quivered and he realized the effort was futile. He was in a beautiful city, exploring the unknown with Volty, and didn't have a single care or liability in the world. It was everything he wanted back in school, but the more he was living the dream, the more he missed structure. What was the point of freedom if there wasn't a drive? Kyle didn't really know the answer, and that scared him. He shook his head, and continued eating. There was no use on wallowing, he first needed to realize we he was invited to come to the region. Of course, it is a relatively new region on the world stage, but was prosperous well before the league settled into the region. Why was he special enough to get free fare? It was a hard question to answer. A question pierced his thoughts, and he looked up to see his waitress.

"Enjoying the meal, sir?" she asked, trying her best to be of good service.

"Yes ma'am, it's fantastic!" he exclaimed, flashing a huge grin. His expression brightened up, and it seemed he was back to his cheery demeanor.

"Oh wonderful! Are you by chance Mr. Everitt?" she asked, looking towards his jacket.

"Yeah, I am. Is there something wrong?" he asked, a tad confused.

"Oh, no, the mayor just wanted to see you. Here's a letter from the mayor, while Luxaris is quite big, our mail system is instant! Here, I think this will benefit you more than my words," she told him, placing the letter and a check on the table.

Kyle first payed for his and Volty's meal, and then opened up the letter. It was a short one, but it got to the point. It was from the mayor, and he wanted to discuss something with Kyle. It also gave directions to city hall, and seemed urgent. The teen simply payed in cash, and hurried towards the location of the building. Whatever fate had in store for him, Kyle was ready to face it.

    André Bellamy
    Harbinger of Dreams
    Luxaris City

"C'est fantastique!" André exclaimed as he entered the city with Jeanne the Sylveon walking by his side. There were big buildings everywhere, yet there were also flowers and Pokemon running around. It seemed like everything sparkled even though it was the middle of the day. The city reminded him of his home in Lumiose City, and was almost as big too. Of course, André would still prefer his own hometown to this, but the city was still very nice. André was grateful for accepting that invatation.

There was one thing André always did whenever he came to a big city. Even when working on film sets, he made a point to search for the city's department store. He eventually found the building he was looking for, the Luxaris City department store. It was a huge multistory building with a neon lit sign in the front. You could see the inside from all the windows, and the place was well decorated and well stocked. Whenever he went to a fashionable city, he just had to go shopping. After all, he had the money to spend, and one could never have enough nice things. Immediately after finding the store, André raced inside to check out their wares.

    ---

Hours later, André came out carrying several shopping bags filled with a bunch of items André just had to have. Fancy clothes, new jewelry, some perfume, adorable plushies he somehow didn't already own, he even found some things for Jeanne. Including a new supply of Pokepuffs, one of which the Sylveon was happily munching on. "Well, that was fun, non?" André asked Jeanne, with his signature smile. His perfectly white teeth practically sparkled.

    "Sylveon!" Jeanne purred happily.

It didn't take very long before people began to notice the pink clad young man with the Sylveon by his side. It took even less time before André and Jeanne were surrounded by screaming teenage girls, (and some guys) clamouring to get the young movie star's autograph, and have their picture taken with him. Something André was more than happy to do for his adoring fans.

One of the fans was a young woman who spoke to him casually. "So, you're the famous André Bellamy."

"Oui, ma chèrie!" He said with a smile. Of course, why would this woman feel the need to come here and asked that question? Was she not a fan? Was she expecting another celebrity? André frowned. "Were you expecting someone else?" The young movie star asked while signing autographs for people, and even more people were petting Jeanne. Much to the Sylveon's delight.

"Oh, no, you were exactly the person I was looking for. The mayor just wanted to see you. Here's a letter from the mayor." The woman handed André a letter. Then she casually walked away.

After André was finally finished with his fans, he took a seat at a nearby bench, and looked at the letter the woman had given him. Why would the mayor of this town want to see him? He must have been a fan. That was the only reason that made sense. It would at least explain the invitation. The letter gave him directions to where the city hall was. Before André went there, he had to get all these shopping bags back to his hotel room. So, he pulled out a fancy pink cell phone from his bag, dialed a number, and spoke to the person on the other end of the line. "Salut! I need you to take some things off my hands, Cil vous plaît. Merci!"

Shortly after André hung up the phone, a well dressed man with a Gallade teleported in. The man and the Gallade took André's purchases, then teleported away.

Once that was taken care of, André and Jeanne made their way over to the City Hall. He was excited to meet another fan of his, and find out whatever it was they wanted.

    Adrianne Landau
    Harbinger of Waves
    Luxaris City

Adrianne took her first few steps into Luxaris City by turning in several circles and smiling widely up at the tops of the gigantic buildings that lined Kyushu's shore. The wind played with both her long black hair and blue skirt, and she pushed her hair back into place with one hand as she took in the sights. "These are even bigger than the ones in Slateport, aren't they?" Adrianne asked, looking down at the vaporeon sitting at her feet. He smiled up at her and then followed her gaze to the buildings before nodding once. "There must be so much to do here! I could literally spend my whole life at these shops from what I read on the boat." She took several brisk steps forward, the heels of her black pumps clicking against the pavement. Her vaporeon followed close behind. "Where should we go first, Riverbend? Oh, let's just have a look around for now. We're on vacation, after all."

"Vaporeon!" Riverbend agreed, though as soon as they were deeper into the city he was pouting at the entrance of a pokemon grooming parlour.

Adrianne put a hand to her mouth, stifling a laugh. "Do we really need a spa day already? Why don't we do that later when we're tired, hm?"

"Por..." Riverbend grumbled, swishing his tail in irritation as he begrudgingly caught up with Adrianne. The two wandered deeper into the city, with Adrianne happy just to take the time to get acquainted with the new scenery. She studied the people walking past, eager to pick up on any Luxaris City fashion trends. Her friends back in Dewford Town would be so jealous of her! She'd never been outside of Hoenn before (aside from Shalour City), and was thrilled for this opportunity. She still didn't understand exactly why she'd been chosen to receive this trip, but had full intentions of taking advantage of every single second.

"Do you see that?" Adrianne asked, pointing ahead to a large gathering of people, predominantly squealing teenage girls with cameras. "Oh my gosh, I think there's a celebrity over there," Adrianne announced with wide eyes, beginning to head over. She could recognize the scream of a starstruck crowd of girls anywhere. "Anistar Richissime? Aguav Martina? ...No, no, it must be a guy, look at all of those teenage girls." Her eyes glazed over dreamily. "What if it's Chris - "

"Vaporeon!" Riverbend interrupted with a glare, pointing a paw at a bakery window.

Adrianne jumped a bit, startled out of her fantasy. "Huh? You're hungry? Right now?" She looked from Riverbend to the bakery window. It was laden with gorgeous pokepuffs and poffins - you'd be hard-pressed to find those delicacies in Hoenn. She glanced over her shoulder at the crowd, but they had quieted and were starting to disperse. "Well alright," she conceded. "We may as well." She supposed she probably wasn't as familiar with Kyushu's pop culture anyways; the region was still fairly new in Hoenn's public eye.

The pair settled themselves at a table near the large front window and Adrianne allowed Riverbend to order whatever he'd like - of course, they soon had a huge heap of pastries on the table. Adrianne skimmed the Kyushu guidebook as her vaporeon pigged out. The waiter assured her that humans could eat pokepuffs too, so she idly sampled a few of the safer-looking ones as she read. "Ooh, I think there might be a concert tonight. We should go, it could be fun." Riverbend ignored her in favor of the pokepuffs, not that she could blame him. He'd never been treated to something like this in his entire life. She wished she could have taken the rest of her pokemon team, but her invitation was adamant that she only bring Riverbend. She made a mental note to bring some of these treats back home for the rest to share. She knew this experience would be a great bonding experience for Riverbend and herself. She'd been neglecting him in training recently - not that he ever let her forget it - and knew that this trip would more than make up for that.

A bell chimed as another woman walked in. She went straight to Adrianne's table. Riverbend stopped eating for a moment to glance at her. "Excuse me," the woman said politely, "are you Adrianne Landau?"

Adrianne exchanged a confused glance with Riverbend before answering. "Yes, that's me... how do you know my name?"

The woman extended an envelope toward Adrianne, who accepted it curiously. "Pardon me for interrupting your meal. I saw you and your vaporeon through the window and you matched the description I was given. The mayor was looking for you." She turned and left without another word.

"That's strange..." Adrianne opened the envelope, which gave directions to City Hall and explained that the mayor wanted to discuss something with her. "This seems important, Riverbend. We should head over there as quickly as possible." Adrianne paid the (rather sizable) bill, and the duo immediately followed directions to City Hall.

    Valmiro Eberhart
    Harbinger of Mystics

    Luxaris City

Luxaris City was as grande and beautiful as one would have told about if people actually ever talked about the Kyushu Region. Tall, white buildings reflected the natural sunlight and lit up the streets below, as well as giving it the illusion of always being sunny, pretty much regardless of the actual weather. Valmiro couldn't help but compare this to his hometown of Goldenrod City in Johto, and though they were similar, there were an entirely different atmosphere than it was over there. everything seemed so cheerful. He had been asleep for most of the Voyage, and hadn't entirely woken up yet. He didn't really what he wanted to do after he got there, but figured some good old fashioned sightseeing couldn't hurt.

Calling Aeon out from his Luxury Ball, the two started walking down the streets, looking into shops, cafès etc. Aeon seemed pretty happy as well, where he walked besides Val in silence, carefully eyeing more or less everything they came across. it wasn't difficult to see that Aeon was enjoying himself just as much as Valmiro did himself. There were new things to see around every corner, from beautiful gardens and parks to grand libraries and shopping centers, all filled with people of all ages, and their Pokemon.

Being one of the more silent types that likes taking things slow, it didn't take long for the duo to find themselves a nice cafè by the docks with a great view over the waters. they found themselves a seat outside in the fine weather, though under a big parasol. Ordering a simple baguette and some Pokemon food for Aeon, they didn't wait long before the young waiter clumsily managed to serve their orders. Aeon found a spot in the sun where he laid down to rest while Valmiro ate his baguette. It was a pleasant change of scenery from the busy Goldenrod, and while mercilessly drinking his Swirlix-shake, he thought of what they were to be doing next. Likely take in to some hotel nearby while plotting for a potential Pokemon trainer adventure, like everyone seemed to be into back in Johto.

Finishing off his shake, Valmiro lit himself a cigarette before deciding to continue their little journey. Before they got so far though, a woman came out, seemingly from nowhere. "Excuse me, sir, but would you be Valmiro Eberhart?" she asked. she seemed kind, but his experience had taught him to never take it lightly when strangers come up to you asking for you.

"That depends." he started, before taking a deep inhale of his sigarette. "Who's asking?" He kept it polite, but was slightly annoyed nontheless. The woman seemed unaffected by it as she continued. "I have been tasked with giving you this letter from the mayor", the woman spoke as she handed him a rather fancy-looking letter from the mayors office, apparently. The mayors office? Why? He had been in the city for exactly 1,5 hour, and hadn't participated in any weird shenanigans. Had his father sniffed him out already? He wa ssomewhat intrigued by the idea, and his first instincts was to keep away from there. But if this was unrelated to his father, then bailing on the mayor may not be a good idea. "I'll look this over." he said before raising his head, only to see that the woman was gone. "Creepy..." he said to himself. Aeon yawned as he woke up, walking over to him. "Well, looks like you and I are going to the mayors office.". There was a detailed map in the envelope. He paid the generous bill when the somewhat distressed-looking waitor came back, and started following the map to City Hall.

    Isaac Casanova
    Harbinger of Woods
    Luxaris City

Isaac stepped out of the small cruiser that had brought him to the fantastic city of Luxaris. Sure, he was from an industrialized region but that certainly didn't prepare him for the beautiful specimen of land he had just set foot upon. Although he was from one of the biggest cities in the Unova region, this city fascinated him; everything seemed beautifully reflected in the sunlight with opportunity around every corner. He stretched his arms over his head and adjusted the satchel sitting comfortably at his hip; this was the start of something new. Maybe he could even escape from his music fans here, maybe his music wasn't exactly widespread yet. He kind of hoped that would be the case, as it would be nice to not have to sign autographs for one trip.

He sighed dreamily, bringing a hand up to shield his eyes from the sunlight as he scanned the various streets of the large city. Maybe he could look around first? He was considering buying something for Vinny, maybe he could get something for himself as well while he was in the vicinity; a new guitar would be nice, but then he'd have to lug it around. As he continued thinking, he heard the small sound of a zipper and looked to his satchel to see his small Leafeon poke her head out of the bag and let out a huge yawn. Isaac smiled and pet the small cream coloured fox's head, the small fox let out a sleepy purr and stretched, crawling down to the ground to walk beside her trainer.

The two, being musically inclined, quickly found their way through the winding streets of Luxaris and to a small music district within the slums. Isaac smiled and approached a guitar shop, his Leafeon at his side; hoping to find a little something that they could both appreciate. The two looked around the shop for what seemed like forever and found nothing particularly interesting; Isaac liked to have guitars that were green or teal to better match his duo image with his Leafeon and would have no luck in Luxaris unless he ordered one specially which he wasn't exactly enthusiastic about doing.

As Isaac left the shop a cute young woman approached him, she took a brief glance at a piece of paper and then back at Isaac and extended her hand. God please don't be a fan, though Isaac to himself; probably rolling his eyes a bit. He slowly extended his hand back to the woman who began to ask.

"Sorry, but, are you Isaac? Isaac Casanova?" She asked, somewhat cautiously. Ugh, yeah it's a fan; this is how it always starts. Thought Isaac with another eye roll. He decided to maybe play it off at bit, make the woman wait before he revealed his identity. Vinny glanced up at the woman, questioning her with large brown eyes.

"Depends," Replied Isaac, "Who's asking?" He tripped up a little on the s in asking, causing it to sound more like 'asthking'; man, he hated this stupid lisp but his agent wouldn't allow him to get speech therapy as it was now part of his image. The woman took a brief step forward and placed a letter into Isaac's hand; Isaac raised an eyebrow quizzically.

"I was asked to deliver this to you by the mayor, he would like to see you as soon as he can." Replied the young woman, leaving Isaac behind in the alley without another word.

"Weird..." Said Isaac aloud. He had been here for maybe an hour and he was already getting asked to go speak to the mayor. He opened the letter slowly, it detailed a map to city hall and requested his presence asap. He sighed loudly and scooped up his small Leafeon, making his way to the destination at hand.

    Sketchie it's about the CUBES

    Rosemarije Archer
    Harbinger of Frosts
    Luxaris City

Rosie leaned on the handrail of the boat, staring at the shining city before her. She breathed in the sea air, her bangs whipping around her face. Blue. The color of the sky, the color of the waves, the color of her heart. Royal. Regal. Calm. Amilie strode up to her daughter, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Are you ready for this?"she asked. Rosie nodded. Amilie nodded back. Unsure of what to say, she retreated, allowing Benjamin to slither up around Rosie's legs.

"Hey, Benji," Rosie smiles, kneeling down to pet the pokemon, "What about you, are you ready for this?" Benjamin puffed out his chest, smiling proudly. Rosie wrapped her arms around Benjamin and lifted him up, holding him close to her chest. The boat pulled into the harbor with a smooth precision, and you could barely notice the boat docking. Meeting up with her mother, Rosie stepped off the ship, and into the blue horizons of Luxaris City.

After getting the directions to where she would be staying, she waved her mother goodbye and set off on her own. "C'mon, Ben," she said, beginning to mosey away from the docks. Benjamin trotted after her, keeping his head high. "What'ya wanna do? I mean, big city, all to ourselves..." She sauntered through the streets, mesmerized with the color and the life. It was similar to Sunnyshore, but it didn't have the solar walkways. Which was a shame in Rosie's eyes, she adored the solar panels. Oh well.

After a little while, Benjamin started whining, weaving in and out between Rosie's legs. This was a common maneuver, and Rosie had learned how to deal with her glaceon in a way he wouldn't trip her. She mumbled out some sort of reply, mostly muffled by sheer wonder and amazement of somewhere new. She weaved her way along in sync with Benjamin, ending at a small park tucked away within the city, near a small cafe. She bent over and grabbed Benjamin, holding him in her arms as she stepped into the cafe.

"Hallo! May I help you?" said a small girl behind the counter.

"Uh, yes, I'll have a lemonade and a slice of your chocolate cake, please," Rosie chirped, smiling politely. Benji barked. Rosie rolled her eyes and chucked. "And a pokemon cake for this little guy." The girl nodded, and disappeared through a door. Rosie sauntered towards the window, lowering herself onto a chair and setting Benji on the ground. She gazed outside, lingering on the beautiful flowers just outside the window, the serenity of the park across the way.

After a few moments of clear thought, Rosie felt someone approach. She looked up, expecting the girl, but instead found a young man standing beside her, his hands behind his back. "Are you Rosemarije Archer?" he asked.

Rosie wiggled her eyebrows, shooting the young man finger pistols and clicking her tongue. "The one and only," she said, grinning.

From behind his back, the man pulled out an official looking letter. Rosie took it without a second thought, looking over it excitedly. "It's from the mayor," the man explained, "She wishes to see you as soon as possible."

"Right-o," she responded, tucking the letter into her bra. "I'll be there once I'm done here, sound good?" She flipped her hair and winked at the young man. He seemed unfazed, bowing slightly before leaving. Shortly after, she saw the girl coming towards her with her order. Rosie took a deep breath, leaning back in her seat. "Things just got interesting, Benji," she mused, a wild grin on her face, "And we're gonna have some fun,"

"As soon as I'm done with my cake."

    HM02gon Waiting...

    Cyrana Fenneman
    Harbringer of Flames
    Luxaris City

Luxaris City. It certainly made Mauville look like a shanty town, but compared to some of the antics Cyrana had seen while working at the nightclub, this wasn't anything special. Sure, the massive glass buildings that sprang up at every corner and sidewalks surrounded by mini-gardens with various bug-Pokemon resting within were pretty nice, but overall, it was just a city. People, overpriced stores, and sketchy alley ways. Nothing more that what life was like at home. Pacing down the sidewalk with Ingo at her heels, she kept an eye out for something to eat. The ride to the city had taken 6 hours and the food they served on the plane, well, she wasn't even sure it was food. Even Ingo hissed when he saw it. Her stomach rumbled and she could sense Ingo getting antsy. It was always a thing she had had, even when she first caught him. She could always sense how Ingo was feeling, like they had a connection on a deeper level rather than trainer and Pokemon. She heard another growl, but it wasn't from her stomach. She turned around and saw Ingo crouched down, looking at a woman walking into a bakery they apparently hadn't noticed. The woman was accompanied by a Vaporeon, which was likely the thing Ingo was growling at.

“I'm not sure we should go there...,” she said nervously, yet her eyes gazed at the rows of Poke-Puffs and Poffins that lined the bakery windows. “I mean... remember what happened last time we had a run in with a Vaporeon?”

Ingo pawed at her legs. “Flare...” he grunted, and ran around behind Cyrana, nudging her towards the door.

“Alright”, she stated. “But you have to promise to be a good boy. No starting any fights.”

“Flareon!” Ingo cried, excitedly running in circles before going to the door. Cyrana followed the Eeveeloution, opening the door and walking in. Hundreds of pleasant scents enveloped the trainer as she looked over the shelves of treats from regions across the globe- Poffins, Old Gateaus, Lumiose Galletes, and her favorite- Lava Cookies. They didn't look nearly as good as the ones she made at home, probably due to them lacking the secret ingredient that only Lavaridge natives knew.

“I'll take one of those,” she said to the woman at the counter, pointing to an exotic looking treat. Ingo pressed his nose against the glass, looking directly at a row of small cookies. “And a few of those cookies for Ingo here,” she added, looking down at the cookies. They looked pretty good- she might have to try one for herself.

“No problem, miss,” the woman at the counter responded in a strange accent that Cyrana could not really identify. She watched the woman take out the selected treats and put them in a small white box with a gilded print of a Serperior wearing a chef's hat on the side. She proceeded to pay the rather...hefty... price before finding a table to sit down. She gazed over at the Vaporeon lady across the cafe, relieved that Ingo wasn't acting aggressively. He seemed rather calm now; usually he was at his worst when hungry. Cyrana placed the box down at a table and pulled out a chair for Ingo before seating herself across from him. She proceeded to stuff her face, but wasn't super impressed with the quality of her... whatever it was. Ingo seemed rather disappointed as well, pushing the plate of cookies away from him with his paw.

“You don't like yours either,” she said. She reached into her bag and pulled out a small cookie tin. “Luckily, I came prepared.” She opened it up and pulled out 2 authentic Lavaridge Town Lava Cookies. “I always come prepared.” Ingo snatched the cooke from her hand and inhaled it, before giving her a strange look as if to say “You had those all along and made me starve?”

She heard the bell above the door ring and turned to see a fragile looking woman carrying a bag of letters walk in. She looked around, and made tracks for the Vaporeon girl. She saw tem exchange a few words before the woman handed Vaporeon girl a letter. She then began walking straight towards Cyrana.

“Excuse me, would you happen to be Cyrana Fenneman,” she said nervously, almost as if she was afraid to make a mistake.

    “Umm... yes,” Cyrana responded nervously.

“Oh thank goodness,” the woman let out a sigh of relief. She proceeded to rummage through her bag of letters before pulling out one and handing it to Cyrana. “The mayor is interested in seeing you. That letter has instructions to town hall. We home to see you there as soon as possible.” The woman quickly bowed her head and turned around, wobbling towards the door in a pair of heels she obviously couldn't walk in. She opened the letter and read the instructions, wondering if Vaporeon girl had received the same letter. She got up and threw out her trash, then left the cafe, closely following the set of instructions the woman had given her.

  8. *Jean Grey*

    *Jean Grey* Night Triumphant

    Jessalyn MacDougall
    Harbinger of Shadows
    Luxaris City

Ever since Jessalyn MacDougall fled Goldenrod City, she never thought she'd ever be comfortable in the middle of a big city. She was surprised at herself, however, when she caught her first glimpse of Luxaris City in all its glory, with architecture and an air of opulence that put Goldenrod City to shame. She should have been nervous, should have doubted the validity of the ticket, but in the end, it seemed as if Patrick had just stirred in her a vestige of her long-gone optimism. Maybe she had doubted the ticket a few days ago, but that was inconsequential, especially when the ship ride really did take her and Raoul to Kyushu. Even the small Shiny Umbreon seemed more excited than usual - he wasn't as reserved as he usually was, that was for sure - and Jessie found herself trying to keep up with him.

She knew Raoul too well, having felt a bond with him ever since the day she won him as a tiny silver Eevee, a bond that allowed her to somehow know what he felt. But then, who didn't have a connection with their Pokemon? She didn't think it was anything unusual. Raoul was her first and only Pokemon so far after all, it felt natural and normal.

"Bre…bre!" The jackal-like Pokemon urged, prompting the raven-haired girl to carelessly toss away the smoking cigarette butt in her hand and follow him. She was sorely tempted to pick him up, but the Umbreon was proving unusually restless ever since they had arrived in Kyushu.

"Was it something you ate this morning, Raoul?" Jessie asked, her voice holding equal amounts of exasperation and kindness. Raoul had led her to one of the grandest parts of the city, lined with what seemed to be high-end cafes and expensive shops on both sides. It was a far cry from what Jessie was used to - shady establishments, bars and the darker side of any city, places where not just anyone could manage to leave unscathed, save for the toughest. In a way, she felt out of place in this glamorous street, and others seemed to have picked it up, judging from the strange looks she gathered. She brushed the feeling off, however. Let them look. Ignorant assholes, she thought, adjusting her hat as she finally caught up with Raoul, who started circling her, and stealing quick red-eyed glances at a particularly grand patisserie display, glances that did not go unnoticed to Jessie. She shook her head and breathed, knowing that she was unable to resist spoiling her Umbreon.

"Make that more like something you didn't eat. I know, I know. Ship food's damn weird," she realized out loud, before scooping up the tiny Pokemon into her arms and entering the shop. Inside, she looked even more out of place, her black vest, lace-up boots, torn stockings, nose ring and newsboy cap a far cry from the expensively-dressed customers. That hardly fazed Jessie, however, as she strode towards the counter, taking out all the bills she had. She knew that it was bound to be expensive, and wanted to save herself from the possible embarrassment of having to count out her money beforehand.

"Two of those. Quick, man," she said roughly, not bothering with any formalities as she pointed at the black-frosted pastries that sat behind the glass display. The woman behind the counter gave her a once-over, looking at her up and down before shaking his head and opening the display. Jessie snorted, and Raoul glared at him with piercing golden eyes. Clearly the judgmental type who was all too used to more a more refined clientele, so to say. She then responded by making a show of tossing her bills onto the counter, proving that she could indeed pay for them, type of "livelihood" be damned.

"Here you go, lady," the woman said with a hint of an edge barely concealed in her deceptively proper voice as she handed her the pastries, both of them nestled in pretentious-looking white doilies.

"Lady? Yeah right, priss," Jessie snorted as she promptly picked up both pastries and left the doilies, propriety be damned, handing over one to Raoul and taking two bites out of hers. Dark chocolate, which she knew went well with her favorite Guinness. Raoul's detour wasn't such a bad thing after all. Smirking carelessly at the woman, she strode out of the patisserie, and back onto the neat cobblestoned street.

"Umbreon!" Raoul howled as he leapt out of her arms once again and circled her impatiently, his rings glowing blue and traces of black frosting around his mouth being the only remnant of the dark chocolate pastry he had greedily wolfed down. Jessie, however, was looking to both sides, trying to seek out which exit was going to lead her to the nearest pub and her Guinness fix. She didn't know why it had to be today that Raoul was acting oddly, when she just wanted to explore the city at her own leisurely pace, bask in the freedom she had, and seek out the establishments she had to soon get herself familiar with.

“Excuse me, would you happen to be Jessalyn MacDougall,” a man's voice asked from behind her. Jessie stiffened as she heard her name, before turning around to check out the source of the voice. It was a man, not much older than herself. He had a kind face, and Jessie felt inclined to tell him the truth, but how many people knew her name anyway? For all she knew, he was one of Team Rocket's agents, out to find her on Erik's orders. Erik, who never left her nightmares and her memory, despite her best efforts. For a few moments, silence hung in the air, before she decided to give the man a little test, and ask a question only some members of Team Rocket knew the answer to.

"Jessalyn what MacDougall?" She prompted, eyeing him with her piercing emerald gaze. The man gave her a look of confusion.

"I don't know. All it says is 'Jessalyn MacDougall', here," he answered nervously before hastily taking out a letter from his bag. Inside, Jessie relaxed, knowing that of course, the man knew nothing that many Johto Team Rocket members knew and hence, was harmless. She cracked a small smile and crossed her arms.

"Yeah, yeah. Damn straight," she replied as she took the letter.

"It's from the mayor. It appears as if he wants to see you as soon as possible," he pointed out. Jessie arched a brow, wondering what exactly the mayor wanted from a newcomer in the first place. "Don't worry, there are instructions on how to get to the town hall in there," he clarified, before turning away and waving at her before he left. Jessie turned the envelope over in her hands, and ripped the top off, taking out a sheet of paper and unfolding it. She hoped that the mayor could wait for a few minutes longer. A Kyushu trip wasn't a Kyushu trip without experiencing the pub, after all.

    Liltwick Life Cheating Game

    Kyle Everitt
    Harbinger of Storms
    Luxaris City

There was a sense of wonder and whimsy in the air, something that Kyle hadn't noticed until now. After the waitress gave him his letter, the blonde felt something... That something magical was about to happen. Of course, the idea of magic was foreign to the boy. While Pokemon did have the power to harness elements beyond human comprehension, his species didn't have the power that their symbiotic companions had. They were the leaders, the ones who heralded the world while their Pokemon helped them. They were more than just tools, they were fierce and smart creatures. Centuries of being with humans made Pokemon a lot smarter than most other species within the planet they called home. While they could trace ancestors to various genus and classifications of animals, Pokemon seemed to be in their own group. They were partners that his species depended on, in a sense, Pokemon also depended on him. That was magic, but actual conjuring and creating wasn't.

The teen didn't know what was going on his his mind, why we was starting to get so... philosophical. He lived a simple life, and barely thought about things besides the world bubble he lived in. Perhaps it was his entry into Kyushu? This thought rang through his head. That was it, that had to be it. Why wouldn't it be it? Paranoia started to settle in on the rather jovial teen. Things were changing, his life was changing. Whatever was about to happen, he knew he had to continue on with his life. That's what Abel would of wanted, right? Abel... Has it really been five years since Abel died? It was, and Kyle knew it. The teen tugged down on his ushanka, trying to return to a more simpler state of mind. The mayor wanted to see him, for what he didn't know. Kyle continued wandering the streets of Luxaris, trying to find his way through the city. Getting lost in his own mind wasn't something that he intended on doing while he was in the streets of the city. Of course, it all started because of the sense of magic and whimsy. That was certainly true, the city gleamed with it. It was amazing, all the colors he saw, the lights, and the designs of the buildings and the art around the city. It was certainly huge, and he was afraid of how big the Pearl Suites were, if he ever went to it. It took him about an hour on foot to get to the Mayor's Office. Of course, he could of easily taken a vehicle, but there was a sens of captivation in wandering the streets Kyle didn't even fathom to take public transportation.

He finally made his way into the city center, which hosted city hall and the capitol building. There was a massive flower garden in front of the building, with various paved paths and a giant fountain in the middle, a statue of the Pokemon Suicune on it, filling the fountain with water. It was magical, but he had things to do. Walking into the local government building, not the one where league officials met, and walked down a long marble corridor until he reached the mayor's office. He walked inside of the room, seeing it able to hold at least 15 people. There were eight chairs infrotn of a beautiful, mahogony desk. A man, roughly of thirty years of age, freckles on his face and stern red eyes glaring at Kyle. His hair was short and kept quite cleanly, and a mustache sat atop his upper lip. He was wearing a black suit, and rested his hands on his chin. It seemed he was staring at the door for hours, as paperwork were cleanly stacked in piles on his desk. A small nametag on his desk read "Mayor Joel". There was also a woman in a white laboratory coat, of ebony skin and dark, curly hair that stood next to him, examining a clipboard held within her arms. She didn't look up from it when Kyle entered the room, but the man named Joel did speak.

"Hello there Mr. Everitt, I've been expecting you. Please, my boy, take a seat. Wherever you like, they're all within arms reach of me," the man told him in a welcoming tone, and had a hint of fatherliness in his voice. He extended his left hand right before Kyle sat down, and the teen shook it out of respect.

"You brought your Jolteon, correct?" he asked with a grave voice, and Kyle trembled as he shook his head meekly, while Volty happily jumped up onto his lap.

"Hmm, good. Feel free to have some tea, or a scone or two. I'm sure you've already ate, I like to make sure Luxaris is the best quality for its residents and visitors alike. This city is my pride, and my family's. My grandfather engineered and revolutionized this city. My father helped further improve it, and now it is up to me to continue to improve it. My family has been beloved by this city since my grandfather was first elected. Of course, I do hope we get fresh blood within this system when I retire. Progress is not made on one great mind, but the effort of many," Joel gave a small background speech, filling the blonde with awe and a bit more comfortable. He waited for awhile before he saw others make their way in, being greeted similarly as he had.

"Alright," Joel cleared his throat after the last person sat down. "I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government. Who they are, that is classified information for now. However, you all should be somewhat familiar with the legend of the Harbingers, yes? If not, well, let me elaborate for you. When Arceus created this world, he sent his plates to various keystone species. Eevee was the most powerful of these keystone species, harnessing eight of the plates. This Eevee was split apart into eight, who carry the plate with them within their soul, and a fragment of the original Eevee and all of the previous Harbingers. With extensive research, we have determined that you eight own these Eevees. You have all been selected to be Harbingers by some higher power, it is your destiny," Joel gave his speech, and then motioned to the scientist next to him.

"The powers of the Harbingers have greatly diminished since they were last relevant to the world. The recent industrial ages have diminished the need for the Harbingers. However, with recent research suggestion the world being on the brink of an armaggedon, our champion met with the high council, and suggested we gather the Harbingers here. Kyushu has had the highest levels of unstable "dark matter" within the region. What this is we don't know, but our champion realized we needed to resurrect the Harbingers of old. With vast research, we determined you eight held the Fragments. As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this," she held up a small keychain, a yellow one, and threw it to Kyle. "Go ahead, try it," she gave with a smirk, contrasting her rather monotonous tone.

Kyle felt the object, and found a small button. Pressing it, he saw a bright flash before it disappeared, and felt something consume his body. When he regained vision, he looked down to see a suit covering him, coursing with electric circuits and yellows similar to Volty. He saw a ring of metal spikes around his wrists, and felt a visor wrapped around his head.Pressing a button on it, a yellow scanner appeared over his eyes. He then held his hand up, and saw he created a small bolt of lightning in his hands. Whatever this was, it was awesome!

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and ask as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explorer your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow. "When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing." With that, it seemed a whole new future was ahead.

  10. Monster Guy

    Monster Guy Fairy type Trainer

    André Bellamy
    Harbinger of Dreams
    Luxaris City

A taxi pulled up to the city center, and André and Jeanne stepped out of the car. After a few moments of walking, André realized he could get a cab here as easily as he could back in Lumiose City. Travelling in a vehicle was so much easier than walking through an unfamiliar city, and getting lost. André looked around, and saw the city hall and the capitol building. There was a flower garden in front of the building, which André took the time to pick a pink rose from it, and place it behind his ear. There were a lot of flowers there, he was sure they wouldn't mind him taking one. There were various paved paths and a giant fountain in the middle, a statue of the Pokemon Suicune on it, filling the fountain with water. Although it couldn't compare to the Prism Tower at night, André had to admit, the scenery was pretty,

André entered the government building, and walked down a long marble corridor until he reached the mayor's office. There were eight chairs in front of a mahogony desk. A man, older man that looked very professional sat the desk. The only thing André didn't care for was the mustache. He never understood why some men liked having facial hair, he thought it was disgusting. The mayor wasn't really his type anyway, so it didn't matter. A small nametag on his desk read "Mayor Joel". There was also a dark skinned woman in a white laboratory coat who was busy studying the clipboard she held in her hands, and didn't bother looking up from it. Not even to greet the famous movie star that walked into the room. How rude! André thought.

"Hello there Mr. Bellamy, I've been expecting you. Please, take a seat. Wherever you like," He extended his left hand right before he sat down, André took his hand, shook it, then gave him a kiss on each cheek. The same way he greeted nearly everyone. He was relieved that he didn't have beard to go with the mustache. His mouth didn't have to touch facial hair. André made a point to sit next to a boy dressed entirely in green, and had a small Jolteon sitting on his lap. André couldn't help thinking the boy was adorable.

"Good, you brought your Sylveon." the mayor said

"Sylveon." The pink Fairy type purred as she sat next to André's chair.

André gave his Pokemon a pat on the head. "Well, of course I would bring her monsieur. She goes everywhere with me."

Progress is not made on one great mind, but the effort of many," Joel gave a small background speech, but André was indifferent. Mainly because André didn't live in this city, but also because he sounded like he was reading off a script, and had given this speech countless times before. As an actor, André knew how to make things sound genuine. He waited for awhile before he saw others make their way in, being greeted similarly as he had.

    ---

Once several other people arrived, Joel stood up, cleared his throat, and started to speak. "Alright, I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government.

As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this. She held up a small keychain, a pink one, and threw it to André "Go ahead, try it," she gave with a smirk.

André caught the keychain, and stared at it for a moment. The young movie star was interested in the story. It sounded like the plot of a movie he was in. About a group of chosen people that were given magical powers to help save the world. Of course, he was the main character of that film. André felt the object, and found a small button. Pressing it, he saw a bright flash before it disappeared, and felt something consume his body. When he regained vision, he looked down to see a suit covering him. It was a pink and black futuristic suit. It even had a pink visor on his head. It definitely was like something straight out of a science fiction movie. André didn't particularly care for the outfit, but it did have some pink on it, so that was something positive at least. He hoped he would be able to get a better outfit that reflected his personality better later.

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and act as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explore your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow. "When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing."

Once the entire group was in the testing chamber, the first thing André did was run up to the cute boy in the yellow suit, gave him a kiss on each cheek, and one more kiss on the forehead, then gave him a big hug. "Oh là là! Vous êtes trop mignon!" He exclaimed excitedly.

While André was busy hugging Kyle, a duplicate of André suddenly appeared from behind him. The duplicate of André walked up to another one of the girls that had shown up at the Town Hall. This girl had dark hair, and was accompanied by a Vaporeon. The duplicate of André walked up to the girl, put his hand on her shoulder, and gave her a kiss on each cheek. "Bonjour, ma chérie!" He said in flirtatious manner as pink sparkles shone around him. "Can I just say, I love a beautiful woman who has a good fashion sense. J’aimerais mieux te connaître." He waved his hand, and magically produced a pink rose, and gave it to the girl. A few seconds after she took the rose, it vanished, along with the André duplicate. Like they were never there to begin with.

The real André was still busy squeezing the life out of poor Kyle. "You are so cute!"

    Valmiro Eberhart
    Harbinger of Mystics

    Luxaris City

It didn't take to long walking the route depicted on the small map he had gotten, and before he really knew it, he was standing in front of the building, marked a big red circle, that was supposivly City Hall. The front of the building was decorated with a small flower garden, to shine some color over the otherwise pretty basic building. The garden was also decorated with a pretty fancy fountain, giving the area a more relaxed feel rather than the busy heart of Luxaris City. Val stopped for a few seconds to look at the scenery, before continuing over to the front door. Aeon was with him, keeping close. He was a bit sceptic to the whole situation, and was on alert most of the time, though Val did catch him in sniffing a flower earlier.

After he had entered the building, Val walked down a marble hallway towards what appeared to be the mayors office. here were eight chairs in front of a mahogony desk in the office. An older man that looked very professional sat the desk, obviously waiting for everyone. Before making a fool of himself, Val memorized the name on his nametag, "Mayor Noel". He hated it whenever he didn't remember names, admittadly because he didn't pay much attention to whatever happened around him. There was also a dark skinned woman in a white lab-coat who was busy studying a clipboard she held in her hands in a very serious manner, and she didn't seem to pay attention to the world around her. Val ignored her.

"Mr. Eberhart, how nice of you to drop by. Please, have a seat. The others should arrive shortly." the mayor said, holding out his hand for a handshake. Val shook his hand without saying anything, and sat down next to one of the others that had already arrived; a boy dressed in green with a Jolteon in his lap. Aeon seemed curious now, and politely sat in silence next to Val's chair. Val held his hand out and pat his head, which he seemed to enjoy. "Espeon is with you. Good." The mayor said in a tone that revealed he had already said this line a few times before, or practiced it in front of a mirror somewhere. He looked over at the other two guys present. One of them, the one he had sat next to, had a green jacket and looked rather young. He had a Jolteon on his lap. Next to him again sat a boy dressed all in pink, with a Sylveon accompanying him. Val felt like he had seen the pink guy before, and figured he was probably some Tv-star. Val didn't really get starstruck when meeting celebrities, and took the oppertunity to think about where he could have seen this guy before.

"There are scones and tea if you are hungry, please help yourself." the mayor said. Val decide to take a cup of tea, as that always had a soothing effect on him. "Thank you." he said once he sat back down. Aeon nibbled on a scone. While he was thinking, the mayor went on talking about the city and how much he loved it. Pretty boring talk that contributed nothing to the question of Why they were there.

    ------

Once several other people arrived, the mayor stood up, cleared his throat, and started to speak. "Alright, I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government. You have all been selected to be Harbingers by some higher power, it is your destiny," Joel gave his speech which sounded very pre-rehearsed, and then motioned to the scientist next to him who finally looked up from her clipboard.

As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this." She said while holding up a... pink key chain? She threw it to the pink guy. "Go ahead and try it" she said smirking. Val didn't really understand anything that was going on here, and decide that by nearest possibility, he would just walk up and leave the building.

The pink guy held the key chain, and tension built up in the room. He seemed somewhat enthusiastic, and pressed an unseen button from somewhere. There was a bright flash, and when it settled, he stood there, in a changed outfit. He was now standing in a pink outfit, similar-looking to the one the first guy was already wearing. The outfit seemed to be themed after his Sylveon.

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and ask as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explorer your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow. "When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing." Val continued to sit in the chair, thinking the situation over. That history lession they were just given sounded more and more like an origin story, and he felt he would soon be dragged into some sort of weird, stupid, childish Power Ranger.... thing! The mayor gave him an impatient look, and he sighed heavily before standing up, joining the others.

The pink guy was all over the place, and Val paid him no attention, but felt an urge to punch him if he started being lovey dovey with him. "Go on, press the button" the scientist-lady said. She seemed anxious for results, and openly ignored Vals silent pleas. If this followed the same pattern as the pink guy, he would likely looks like some weird Espeon cosplayer. He took a step away from the others, who seemed way too into this, and looked at the key chain he had been given. It was a dark purple one, so it looked decent enough, if nothing else. Aeon was curious, standing next to him. "Stand back, Espeon" the lady said. Val just closed his eyes and pressed the button. Another glimpse of light appeared, and he felt the outfit-change begin. Once he regained vision, he opened his eyes again, and briefly looked down. His usual outfit was now replaced by a dark purple one. The lady guided him to a mirror while she scribbled on her Clip-board. He took a deep breath before he looked in the mirror. He was now wearing a dark purple chest armor os sorts, with a matching pair of pants and shoes. The outfit overall looked like something a special ops agent would wear. He also noticed some sort of a metallic circlet around his head. Looking in the mirror, it looked like a gemmed circlet, resembling the Gem on Aeons forehead. He found a button on its side and pressed it, and a purple visor covered his eyes.Overall, he did look pretty cool, and he regained his calm. This wasn't as horrible as he had anticipated. Removing the visor again, he looked at himself in the mirror. He had noticed the pink guy running around showcasing his newfound powers, and figured he probably had some mojo as well. Aeon being a psychic-Type, it wasn't difficult to pinpoint what those powers was, and in a manner he couldn't really explain, he was surrounded by a thin blue aura. His eyes also glowed red, as a bunch of minor items in the rom (And a chair) started floating around in circles around him. Being somewhat startled by this discovery, he deactivated his powers, and everything fell to the ground, making moderate noise. This startled the scientist, as she had been busy taking noted this entire time.

    Adrianne Landau
    Harbinger of Waves
    Luxaris City

Adrianne hadn't wasted much time before following the map given to her. Riverbend was distracted briefly by a trainer with a flareon trailing behind them - Adrianne ignored his curiosity, even when she realized the pair had been trailing behind them all the way to City Hall. "His tail is very pretty," Adrianne teased her pokemon quietly, referring to the flareon's braids. Riverbend huffed and flicked his tail fluke in annoyance. He rubbed against his trainer's hand, and Adrianne patted him. "Yes, of course, not as pretty as your tail," she assured him jokingly.

The map had led them first to a beautifully decorated garden. Riverbend ran ahead before Adrianne could stop him and jumped gracefully into the huge central fountain. The vaporeon ran his body happily under the water flowing from the suicune stature adorning it, apparently seeing the fountain as a great opportunity for a quick shower. Adrianne caught up and couldn't help but smile. "Okay, that's enough. You're probably not supposed to be in there," she chided gently. Riverbend leapt out in one solid bound, and playfully flicked water droplets at his trainer with his tail after he hit the ground. Adrianne laughed and gestured him ahead. "Come on, the mayor wanted to see me, remember?" Thankfully she wouldn't have to worry about Riverbend trailing water inside of the building - water absorb had some practical uses outside of battle too.

The City Hall led Adrianne down a long marble hallway, which ended in what was labeled as the mayor's office. Although Adrianne knew this was her destination, she could see several people in there already and hesitated, thinking there was a meeting taking place. A man with a handlebar mustache and black suit noticed her and came to greet her. His name tag indicated he was the mayor. "Hello, my dear. Ms. Landau, I presume? Oh, and you've brought your vaporeon; that's wonderful. My name is Joel, and I am the one who requested you come here. Please, have a seat with the others. I will explain everything momentarily."

Adrianne nodded. "Alright. It's nice to meet you, sir. Come, Riverbend." Adrianne settled herself on the end of the row of chairs and Riverbend curled himself next to her chair. She curiously peered around at the other seven faces as they came in. One seemed oddly familiar to her - she placed his face quickly and nudged Riverbend with her foot. She gestured him to look up with a jerk of her head, and fortunately he understood and put his front paws on Adrianne's chair to peer in the direction of the young man. "Riverbend," she whispered, trying to keep her voice low. "Isn't that Andre Bellamy? As in, the Kalosian actor Andre Bellamy?! You've watched some of his movies with me; do you remember him?" Riverbend blinked, then nodded once and slunk back down to a reclined position at her feet. Adrianne sighed: that reaction was not nearly excited enough! If only her friends were here - they would just about die when they heard she'd been called to a special meeting with a famous actor! She studied the other faces intently after that, worried she'd somehow been caught in a room of famous people, but she couldn't place any of the others, save the girl with the flareon who had indeed apparently followed her the entire way to the mayor's office.

The meeting started shortly thereafter, with the mayor rambling about the myth of the Harbingers, and how apparently the eight of them held the fragments of the original eevee. He also explained how the eight of them were now needed to stop some sort of dark matter accumulating in Kyushu - or, at least, that was how Adrianne chose to interpret it. She didn't quite understand, but was very intrigued and willing to go along with whatever they needed her to do. The assistant tossed a keychain to a boy dressed in green, and his outfit magically transformed into a black and yellow metallic suit with a yellow visor. Adrianne stared, having only seen technology like this in movies.

The group was ushered into the next room, and Adrianne was given a blue keychain. She decided to watch the others first before trying it herself. She didn't get much looking in before Andre Bellamy himself walked over and greeted her with la bise. Being half-Kalosian herself, she was familiar with the custom and her eyes shone with excitement as the celebrity greeted her. "Bonjour, ma chérie!" Andre said in flirtatious manner as pink sparkles shone around him. "Can I just say, I love a beautiful woman who has a good fashion sense. J’aimerais mieux te connaître."

Her heart leapt - he liked her fashion sense! "Merci!" she replied with a huge smile, playing on his usage of French words. "My name is Adrianne! I'm a big fan of your movies; we watch Miracle on Route 34 every Christmas now since you were in the remake!" she gushed, too excited by his presence to register much else. He handed her a pink rose, which she probably would have pressed and preserved forever if it hadn't vanished mere seconds after he'd handed it to her... along with Andre himself. Adrianne blinked in confusion and glanced around - he spotted Andre halfway across the room in his Juggernaut suit, fawning over the boy in the yellow suit. Adrianne frowned, not totally sure what had just happened. "That was weird - Riverbend, did you see that?" She looked down, expecting him to be by her side, but he was gone. "...Riverbend?"

Her vaporeon was heading straight for Andre and the boy in the yellow suit - or, at least that's what Adrianne thought until he bypassed both of them and made for Andre's sylveon. "Vapor, vaporeon..." he purred silkily, approaching the (doubtlessly female, Adrianne realized) sylveon with his chest puffed confidently, every step as smooth as if he were on a contest stage. Adrianne hurried over just as Riverbend turned to bound back to his trainer. He flicked his tail in farewell to the sylveon. "Vapor!" he nudged Adrianne's right hand, where her keychain was clutched.

"You think I should test it?" she asked. Riverbend glanced back at the sylveon then smirked and nodded. Adrianne quirked a brow, but activated it anyways. Her blue skirt was tragically replaced with a blue and black metallic suit. A blue visor also wound itself across her vision, and she frowned as she looked over herself. She couldn't remember the last time she had to wear pants, least of which metallic pants... "What am I supposed to do?" Adrianne asked, unimpressed. She took a look at the others - one boy was now floating chairs and other objects around as if he'd done it his whole life. Intrigued, she raised one hand, and could definitely feel some sort of power forming. With some concentration she formed a few water droplets, though the effort hardly made it worth it. She played around with the droplets, finding controlling them much easier than creating them...

She made eye contact with Riverbend, who wordlessly shot out a water pulse attack at her. Adrianne halted the water in midair and sent it flying back - Riverbend jumped and absorbed the attack headfirst before doing a front flip and seamlessly sending another ball of water in her direction. Adrianne caught this one as well, and spun her right hand in small circles. The water snaked upward in a large spiral - Riverbend ran underneath and produced an aqua ring around himself, which Adrianne also caused to spiral upward. The three water spirals intertwined intricately and delicately - until Riverbend shot an aurora beam at them and froze them. Adrianne tried to manipulate the pillars of ice, but it seemed to be beyond her control. Riverbend shot another water pulse at them, and Adrianne guided it so it would break the ice evenly. "Acid armor!" she called as a precaution. Riverbend shimmered as the icicles bounced harmlessly off of him. He looked quite pleased with himself. He eyed the sylveon, probably to check if she'd been watching.

"Riverbend, this isn't a contest routine! There's no need to hog the spotlight today," Adrianne scolded. "No more ice: I guess I can't control it the same way as water..." There was a researcher jotting notes, and Adrianne at least hoped they'd gained something from that display.

    Isaac Casanova
    Harbinger of Woods
    Luxaris City

After receiving his letter, Isaac noticed Vinny was extremely excited; bouncing around by his feet and running ahead of him as the two attempted to find their way to the mayor's office. He was glad she was excited, because he himself was beyond nervous right now. Meeting authority figures was always scary to him, he didn't know why but he assumed it was because he still felt like a child himself, especially after his unfortunate incident a few years back. Vinny gave a small tug at his pants, disrupting his thoughts and causing him to crouch and look at his small Leafeon; she gestured towards a large building, it was absolutely beautiful. He had never seen such beautiful scenery among the bustle of Unova, various beautifully paved roads lead him to his destination at which a fountain with a large statue of the mythical water dog Suicune sat atop, filling the fountain with water.

Isaac walked towards the building, entering it while taking a deep breath. He entered the large building, actually large might have been an understatement, it was massive. He followed a marble corridor to what he presumed would be the mayor's office. Upon walking in he noticed eight chairs facing a mahogany desk, behind the desk sat an older looking gentleman; Isaac presumed him to be the mayor, especially after noting the name-tag on his desk that said 'Mayor Joel'. There was also a tall ebony skinned woman in a lab coat writing down things on a clipboard.

"Ah, Mr. Casanova. Please, take a seat anywhere that's available. I've been expecting you my boy." Said the man, he seemed welcoming and kind. The man extended his hand, which Isaac shook and took a seat near one of the others that had already arrived. He couldn't help but take a glance at everyone that was already there, he recognized Andre Bellamy, the famous actor from Kalos; however, he couldn't place any of the other faces but noticed rather quickly that everyone who was present had an Eeveelution with them. Isaac particularly noticed a small boy with a green hat and a cute Jolteon on his lap, he smiled slowly and Vinny mimicked their position, plopping herself on Isaac's lap.

"Ah, excellent. Your Leafeon is with you." Continued the mayor. Isaac gave a small nod and patted Vinny's head, she gave a small yawn and pushed her face into Isaac's shirt.

Progress is not made on one great mind, but the effort of many," Started the mayor, giving a small background speech as the group waited for the other chairs to be filled. Every new person that walked in was greeted in a similar way.

    -------

After the last of the eight seats were filled, Mayor Joel stood up and cleared his throat. "Alright, I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government. Who they are, that is classified information for now. However, you all should be somewhat familiar with the legend of the Harbingers, yes? If not, well, let me elaborate for you. With extensive research, we have determined that you eight own these Eevees. You have all been selected to be Harbingers by some higher power, it is your destiny,"Joel spoke evenly, as if he had practiced and then motioned to the scientist whom Isaac had noted being in the room earlier.

With vast research, we determined you eight held the Fragments. As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this," she pulled out a green keychain, throwing it towards Isaac. "Try it for yourself." She continued, with a smirk.

Isaac looked down at Vinny, who was brimming with excitement. Isaac pressed the button and watched as a bright flash appeared in front of him. He felt something begin clinging to his body; when he regained his sight he looked down and saw a body suit covering him. It was metallic and beige, with flecks of green throughout. He had two blades attached to his wrists that looked similar to the leaves above Vinny's paws. It was also complete with a green visor. Isaac moved his hand and saw a small bundle of leaves floating above his hand, he smirked to himself.

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and act as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explore your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow. "When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing." She said before moving away from the group slightly.

Isaac looked towards the others in the group. The movie star seemed to be basking in the spotlights and he had also trapped the boy with the Jolteon in a tight bear hug. Isaac sighed and looked toward the others, he saw a girl and her Vaporeon testing out the suits; the Vaporeon seemed to be trying to gain the attention of the Slyveon that had followed the movie star. Vinny rolled her eyes and looked up at her master, who gave her a small smile. Isaac twisted his hand again and made a small ball of "yarn" out of vines and tossed it towards Vinny. He laughed at his own powers, they seemed a little bit silly but he watched as Vinny gave an excited squeak and rolled with the vineball.

    Cyrana Fenneman
    Harbringer of Flames
    Luxaris City

A set of massive iron gates slowly opened for Cyrana at a security guard's command. She made her way into a massive garden made up of a maze of paths weaving through arches and around fountains, all leading to a central one featuring a statue of the legendary Pokemon Suicune. Behind the garden rested a building whose architecture style sharply contrasted with that of the city surrounding it, being a huge white building held up with massive marble pillars. She smiled at a guard as he opened the main door to the city hall. She was guided to a meeting room where she sat down at a long white marble table, with several other people, all accompanied by other evolutions of Eevee, including the Vaporeon girl from the cafe. A short, friendly looking man with a mustache sitting at the head of the table cleared his throat. That must be the mayor, Cyrana realized.

"I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government,” the mayor stated. “Who they are, that is classified information for now. However, you all should be somewhat familiar with the legend of the Harbingers, yes? If not, well, let me elaborate for you. When Arceus created this world, he sent his plates to various keystone species. Eevee was the most powerful of these keystone species, harnessing eight of the plates. With extensive research, we have determined that you eight own these Eevees. You have all been selected to be Harbingers by some higher power, it is your destiny.” He motioned to a woman in a lab coat standing next to him.

The woman nodded and stepped forward. "The powers of the Harbingers have greatly diminished since they were last relevant to the world,” she explained calmly. “The recent industrial ages have diminished the need for the Harbingers. As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this.” She held up a handful of small keychain-looking devices, each with a vibrantly colored shard at the end, and handed them to each of the trainers sitting around the table.

Cyrana picked up hers- a bright red one that felt warm to touch. The second she clenched it in her fist, she felt herself transforming. A glowing red visor formed over her eyes, and when she looked down, she noticed she was wearing a tight gold-plated space suit-like uniform with bits of red throughout. She looked around, noticing that the other people, whom she had just decided to call “Eevengers” wearing similar outfits, with colors representing their Eeveeloution. She felt Ingo rubbing against her boot, and reached down to pet his fluffy tail.

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and ask as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explorer your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow. When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing." She bowed her hear slightly, before disappearing into an adjacent room.

Cyrana held up her hand, then quickly punched out in front of her. A small burst of fire poofed out of her fist. Ingo jumped at the small flame, and as his paw reached it, in enlarged into a small fire-tornado. Cyrana reached her hand into the tornado, not surprised that she didn't seem to feel any pain from the fire at all. “This is sick,” she said excitedly while bending down to her Flareon.

“Flare!” he responded, running in a small circle. Cyrana took a good look around the room. The scientist lady said they should socialize, so she walked up to the nearest person- a boy I a green space suit-thing playing gently with his Leafeon. She gave him a small nudge on the back, grabbign his attention.

“Hey, cute plants ya got there,” she said, sounding much more sarcastic than she intended. Introductions to one-person audiences were not exactly her strong suit anyway.

    Jessalyn MacDougall
    Harbinger of Shadows
    Luxaris City

Jessie walked past the gates and found herself surrounded by a lush flower garden. The map was rather straightforward, and she didn't take long to find her way, though part of it could be attributed to Raoul's unusual energy level…until she arrived, that was. When they passed through the gates, Raoul had calmed down considerably, and was seemingly back to his old self. The garden was another thing that set Luxaris apart from Goldenrod, and a part of Jessie felt like she wanted to get lost amidst its greenery, its winding paths, and the sound of running water coming from the fountain, if only to forget all her troubles and nightmares for a few moments. Something tugged at her chest and for a second, a lost song, one that soared with a voice clear and high, yearned to break free from its dark cage. It was only a fleeting moment, however, one interrupted by her Umbreon's barking.

"Umbree!" Raoul yelped. Jessie looked down at her hands, at the envelope she held, and shrugged. Thank Yveltal for her Pokemon reminding her what she was here for. She had stopped by the largest fountain, which had a statue of the Pokemon Suicune in the middle of it, and saw the white, classical-style building that was supposedly the City Hall, just a short ways off. She beckoned for Raoul to leap into her arms before continuing on, walking briskly up the steps and entered the building.

Jessie found herself at the beginning of a long, marble hallway that led to somewhere in a rather straightforward fashion. Assuming that it led to the Mayor's office, she continued on and entered a large, circular room with a sprawling mahogany desk at its center. On one side, eight chairs were lined up, some of them already occupied by other people, all of them strangely possessing some of Eevee's other evolutions. Sitting on the opposite side was a suit-clad man in his thirties, with a neatly-trimmed mustache and stern red eyes. Like Erik's, Jessie thought, and she stopped at the doorway, wavering over whether to trust the mayor who had invited her - and presumably all of them - to his office. He had not disclosed the exact reason why he wanted to see her, or hell, all of them for that matter, if her suspicions were correct…so was he really even someone she should have willingly gone to in the first place?

"Ah, if it isn't Ms. MacDougall. Please have a seat, whichever one you'd prefer. I'm Joel, the one who requested for you to come," the man greeted warmly. It was this simple warmth that seemed to have broken the spell over Jessie. Of course, there was no way that a connection between Mayor Joel and Erik existed. Aside from the fact that they both had red eyes, the two men could not have been any more different - Erik had scars and burns that covered half his face, and was at least twenty years older than the man who had welcomed her. Surely, she had no reason to feel suspicion at the arrangement. Nodding, she strode in with Raoul still in her arms. The mayor cocked his head and glanced at the small jackal-like Pokemon.

"An Umbreon…excellent," he commented as Jessie took her seat at the rightmost chair. As Mayor Joel offered tea and scones, the raven-haired girl glanced at her company, and recognized Andre Bellamy, the famous Kalosian actor, with a Sylveon. While she wasn't a fan of his movies, some of her friends had their guilty pleasures, and she often found herself roped in to watch some of them. Now Andre, Jessie understood why the Mayor would want to see him. As for the others, however, she still didn't understand. She noticed another pair of red eyes down the line, this time belonging to a silent young man slightly younger than herself, and an albino at that, with his pale skin and white hair. An Espeon sat close to his legs. She averted her glance and leaned back on her chair, popping a pair of earbuds that blasted heavy metal music. She was all too ready for the answers she wanted ever since the letter had fallen into her hands.

Alright, I have gathered you here today on the request of our region's champion and head of government. Who they are, that is classified information for now. You have all been selected to be Harbingers by some higher power, it is your destiny," Mayor Joel began his speech as the seats were filled. Though Jessie heard what he said, she didn't make the effort to look interested. The way he spoke sounded as if his speech was prepared and pre-rehearsed, and she didn't particularly care for listening to someone who pretended to know everything. She noticed him motion to his companion, the dark-skinned female scientist who had been busy with her clipboard when Jessie arrived.

Kyushu has had the highest levels of unstable 'dark matter' within the region. What this is we don't know, but our champion realized we needed to resurrect the Harbingers of old. With vast research, we determined you eight held the Fragments. As soon as we did, our region's top scientific research team have been developing this," she stepped in, elaborating on why the eight of them had been gathered in the first place. Jessie looked down at Raoul, whose blue rings started glowing. Aside from being small and Shiny, she had thought that he was just like any other Umbreon, but if what the woman was saying was indeed truth, then Raoul was probably more than he seemed. She watched as the woman tossed a yellow keychain towards a blond young man in green, then a pink one at Andre. Pfft, no surprise there, she thought, knowing too well the actor's affinity for the color pink. Jessie got up from her chair, wanting to see if the keychains indeed worked, or if they were just merely duds meant to distract them from something else.

Both boys fiddled with their keychains, and pressed some buttons on them. The next moment, flashes of light engulfed them. Jessie shielded her eyes, never being one for bright lights, and it took a few seconds before they reappeared, dressed in futuristic-looking suits, Andre in pink and the blond boy in yellow. The green-eyed girl quirked an eyebrow. Was she really witnessing this, or had someone drugged her drink? She shook her head, looked down then up again. Nothing changed; both still were dressed in said suits. Jessie swore under her breath, still unbelieving, before allowing Raoul to leap out of her arms. The Umbreon went his own way, and Jessie was alone in her corner…but not for long.

"You, how about you take one of these?" She heard a voice inquire from behind her, and turned to face the scientist, who was motioning to Raoul. The small Umbreon had returned with a black keychain in its mouth. Jessie looked at the others, noticing that the white-haired boy had a purple keychain of his own, then smirked and nodded. She had chosen to come here to celebrate her freedom…who the hell was stopping her from trying out the keychain and getting some cool new duds, most likely cooler than anyone else's? She got down on one knee and took the keychain, pressing on the center button impulsively. Instantly, she saw a glow descend around her, and felt her clothes morphing into…something. She looked down and saw that her shorts and hooded vest were replaced by a form-fitting, all-black suit, with long sleeves, as well as matching boots and gloves. Her eyes were shielded by a visor, an odd glowing blue that was a stark contrast to her all-black outfit. Why…ah, damn right, she began to wonder, before looking down at Raoul and getting her answer. Looking around the room, at everyone else's suits, she decided that she indeed had the coolest one. After all, for Jessie, black was always the best.

"Welcome to Juggernaut. These suits are designed to enhance your harbinger powers, and ask as a catalyst for them. You eight are now free to explorer your suits within our testing chamber, right this way," the woman told the group, and beckoned them to follow her to the testing chamber. "When we feel you are familiar enough with how they work, and socialize a bit, we will give mission debriefing."

Once the group arrived at the testing chamber, Andre took the opportunity to run up to the yellow-clad boy and kiss him on both cheeks before seemingly flirting with him in the Kalosian language. Jessie cursed, made a face and turned away from the spectacle, crossing her arms. Her eyes then fell on a man in green creating a ball of vines, a dark-skinned girl in magma colors conjuring a fireball, which her Flareon then turned into a flaming tornado, and the red-eyed man just standing still, his eyes glowing a more sinister shade as chairs and objects started floating and circling around him, before he allowed them to drop.

"Raoul, do you think they like...darkness?" she murmured, a smirk creeping up her face as she looked at her Pokemon, its rings glowing a darker shade of blue. He nodded slowly and Jessie held out both her hands in front of her. A ball of black shadows materialised, growing bigger as she stared at it hard. She then tossed it upwards. The ball expanded, and black shadows fell around the room, plunging it into a momentary darkness, which was only pierced by Raoul's glowing rings, as well as an odd blue aura emanating from the white-haired boy. Hell yeah, that should take care of the flirting, she thought. The darkness however, was fleeting, as soon the shadows retreated, and the room was filled with light once more. Jessie took one look at the scientist, who was still taking down notes, before striding over to the red-eyed guy, deciding that she wasn't going to let thoughts of Erik ruin anything.

"Hey, you. Tell me what the hell you just did," she began, before waving her hand around him, or rather, the faint shimmering aura around him. "You know, this damn...thing."
