~Kingdom Hearts: A Heart in Darkness~
The Heartless… Such mysterious creatures they are… They were once like us… But they have fallen into the darkness, swallowed into a void of nightmares and chaos. No light shall ever shine into that void… They are simply Heartless… They hate those with hearts; fear them, because once they were just like them…
Somewhere in a world, there is a core of it. A heart, you may call it. It holds each and every fragment of a person. It archives each person’s story from the beginning to the end… It holds positive emotions of courage, kindness, friendship, and negative emotions of revenge, hatred, distrust. It is the very essence of life; the very heart of all beings…
There are things in each world that mustn’t be discovered… Such as the heart of a world… The centre of a world is sealed away by a door, a gate, to never be opened again, for so it has been said and should ever be.
Although some do good and right, others are corrupted into darkness; seduced by evil. However, their hearts, the last goodness inside them, fight back against the darkness, and eventually these two powers collide and create two separate beings… the Heartless and the Nobodies…
As the Heartless are a body without a heart, the Nobodies are a heart without a true body. As Heartless are usually black and complied of true darkness, Nobodies are usually dressed in white or grey colours… The Heartless search for their hearts… The Nobodies search for their bodies… They do not really care for the hearts of the worlds but they will go to extraordinary lengths to gain what they hunger for; their bodies…
The Heartless and Nobodies then began a conquest of the worlds. They swarmed and take over many diverse worlds. This was found odd by many people, as they did not understand these strange beings. Many fell to the hands of these creatures…
The true reason for the Heartless and Nobodies swarms of destruction was because of one scientist, who went by the name Ansem, had fallen into darkness. Corrupted by darkness, persuaded with empty promises of power, Ansem hungered for what the Heartless truly desire; the Kingdom Hearts…
Kingdom Hearts… The Heart of all Worlds… The Heartless hunt for the legendary Kingdom Hearts, searching to destroy what has been ripped from their bodies; theirs hearts…
To unlock the seven locks on the door, Ansem searched for seven girls known as the Princesses of the Heart from the worlds. Being of pure heart, they could open the locks set on the door to Kingdom Hearts… Ansem would have succeeded… If it wasn’t for Sora…
It all began on a typical day on the world of lush, tropical islands called Destiny Islands, home to three adventurous children; Sora, a brown-haired boy of only fourteen, Riku a silver-haired fifteen year-old, and Kairi, a kind girl of a tender fourteen years. The three wished to leave the island that they have been confined to all their life, so they decided to build a raft to escape. Little did they know that they would soon face things beyond their dreams- and their nightmares…
The night before the voyage, a terrible storm swept through the island, and then the Heartless appeared… You know what happened next…
The three friends are separated… Sora was left by himself… The Heartless went on and destroyed the Destiny Islands… After the battle, Sora received a curious key-shaped sword, the mystical Keyblade, and he set out to defeat the Heartless and be reunited with his friends.
From the Destiny Islands, Sora lands in Traverse Town, a refuge world to all of those who have suffered the wrath of the Heartless and the Nobodies and had their worlds destroyed, where he joined Goofy and Donald Duck, two knights of the Disney Castle, in their quest to find their king, Mickey Mouse, and defeat the Heartless.
In their adventures, the trio explored many strange worlds, including the mystical Agrabah and the underwater world Atlantica. Along their way, they had to lock the “keyholes” to the heart of those worlds, preventing the Heartless from destroying their worlds. Slowly, a turn in the tide started to proceed… But Ansem was not finished with yet…
However, standing in Sora, Goofy and Donald’s way was a group of powerful so called “Disney” villains with the evil Maleficent as their leader and more shockingly, Riku as her apprentice. The goal of Maleficent and her group was to kidnap the seven “Princesses of Heart”, in order to open the pathway to Kingdom Hearts, which is supposedly an arsenal of power and knowledge Maleficent intends to use in her plan to rule all worlds.
Maleficent kidnapped the seven “Princesses” from their different worlds. Starting with Sleep Beauty, the group slowly kidnapped the other princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine and Alice. But they were not able to find the seventh Princess. It was a mystery who she was…
Finally reaching the world of Hollow Bastion, the headquarters of the Heartless and Maleficent, Sora confronted Riku directly. But before Sora was able to discover the true reasons to Riku’s strange behaviour, Sora, Donald and Goofy were to face and defeat Maleficent. It was a tough battle but in the end Sora emerged victorious against Maleficent.
They had fought on numerous occasions, and it wasn’t until then that Sora discovered who this Riku really was. The real Riku, his old friend, was sealed away by Ansem, who had took over Riku’s body. Ansem had finished gathering the seven Princesses of Heart, the seventh being Kairi who he had already kidnapped, opened the door to Kingdom Hearts.
They fled from Hollow Bastion in face of the immense number of Heartless pouring through the pathway to Kingdom Hearts. But Sora eventually returned to lock the keyhole of Hollow Bastion and he and his companions travelled to Kingdom Hearts itself, facing Ansem in a climactic final battle.
Though the light of Kingdom Hearts defeated Ansem, the door threatened to unleash millions of Heartless onto the universe. Sora, Donald and Goofy attempted to close the door, but their strength was not enough. Riku, who had regained his body, helped the others close the door on the other side, along with King Mickey Mouse. Using his own Keyblade, Mickey locks Kingdom Hearts from the inside, but this forced himself and Riku to stay inside. Before the door was locked, Riku told Sora to take care of Kairi. Sora and Kairi's reunion was cut extremely short as they were pulled apart by the reforming Destiny Islands. Sora promised to return to Kairi once he found a way to bring Riku out of Kingdom Hearts.
That was the last anyone saw of him…
Many years had past since Sora sealed away Kingdom Hearts. Worlds were reborn and things had finally seemed to be in place. Peace was everyone. Although many were destroyed, the Heartless still remain, but were in hiding. Ansem was dead. Maleficient and her group were dead. All possible threats were eliminated. That’s what they thought. They were wrong…
In Disney Castle, the magician Yen Sid, with the help of Merlin uncovered a startling ancient parchment. On it was an ancient legend of the Keyblades. This is what the parchment said:
The Keyblade, is the only thing that can lock the worlds, thus preventing the Heartless from consuming the heart of a world. It is one of the few weapons that can destroy the Heartless and Nobodies completely. It is said that the Keyblade has the power to save the world, but also is said that it has the power to create chaos. The Keyblade also has the ability to close and open all kinds of doors and locks. The Keyblade chooses its master so there are very few Keybladers in the worlds. In fact, only eight Keyblades exist. These Keyblades are the most powerful weapons ever to appear. These Keyblades are called the Legendary Keyblades.
In the beginning of time, when the Eight Keyblades were first created, each one was partnered with a predestined master who will be it’s one and only true Keyblader. These people will be called the Legendary Keyblades, the ones who will defeat the dark force. The Keyblades will not appear until the time is right and only their chosen user can wield them.
Yen Sid and Merlin were puzzled. The only two Keybladers they knew were King Mickey and Sora. Who were these other six? The two wizards continued reading.
Many years ago, when the worlds were still young, an entity of pure evil emerged. It had powers beyond people’s imaginations. It was almost invincible. Soon this evil spread throughout the worlds like an epidemic and consumed the hearts of people with evil and corrupted them. People were in despair; they did not know what to do. But the Eight Legendary Keybladers emerged. The two leaders of the group, the Keyblader of Light and the Keyblader of Darkness, led the Keybladers of Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith in a climatic battle against the evil. The Keybladers won but were only able to seal the evil away, for the cost of their lives. The Keybladers then in their dying breath, transformed themselves into pure magical entity, and were to be reborn, reincarnated, resurrected as another person, different yet with the same Heart, to save the world; when the time is right. Their Keyblades became dormant, hidden in the chasms of time, to be reawakened when the time is right; when their wielder has reappeared.
As legend goes, the Keybladers of Light and Darkness were to prepare the way for the other Keybladers; they were to appear first and save the worlds from a deadly threat; but only a shadow of a much more powerful evil. The other Keybladers will only appeared when the time is right and when the Keybladers of Light and Darkness had been defeated and imprisoned by the true evil. Only then will the other six Keybladers appear, and save the other two and together, the eight shall defeat the evil, once and for all. We do not know what this evil is but we know it had sealed away by the Keybladers before; they put two locks on it; an inner lock and an outer lock. There is no known way of opening these locks; we do not even know their location. But we do know that the poor soul who tries the open it shall feel the indescribable pain and shall deeply regret it…
Yen Sid and Merlin were startled. They could not make head or tail of what this legend was talking about. They dismissed it as a myth and they ignored it. Little did they know of its importance…
Only days after Yen Sid and Merlin had discovered the parchment, the word came from Traverse Town to Disney Castle that the Heartless and Nobodies had rallied up and destroyed a small world. But that was only the beginning… Soon the previously dormant Heartless and Nobodies had begun a conquest of the worlds, beginning to swarm and take over many different lands. This was found odd by many people; why were they suddenly swarming and attacking them? They awaited the return of Sora and his friends, combating the creatures as best as they could until then. However, many worlds fell to the monster’s plights…
Many worlds were destroyed. People tried to combat this invasion as best as they can but all were baffled by how well-planned this invasion was, considering Ansem and Maleficent were now dead. Something dreadfully wrong was going on, but nobody could figure out a way to stop it… Slowly people started to lose hope… Yen Sid then also noted that the Time Frames of the Worlds were passing at drastically different rates… For some worlds many years had passed… For others only it was only a few minutes… They did not know why this was happening but the person behind this was much more deadly than they thought…
“Your wickedness, another Princess has been located”
“Good. Things are going to plan then. Are the others coming? ”
“Yes, the Queen of Hearts’ carriage has just arrived”
“Good, very good. Morgana and Hades as well?”
“Yes your wickedness. Also the word has come; we have now got all the Heartless on our side and most the Nobodies as well.”
“Excellent. Now let the guests come in”
“As you wish your wickedness”
“Your wickedness! It is such an honour to see you again!”
“Yes! We tried to contact you earlier but that meddling Sora had got in our way!”
“I agree with the Queen of Hearts your wickedness”
“Silence! Silence, all of you! I did not call you here to hear your snivelling excuses. So we are all present?”
“Most definitely your wickedness”
“Yes your wickedness”
“Of course”
“I’m here with you your wickedness”
“Always by your side”
“I agree”
“Present”
“Can’t be without you”
“I agree your wickedness”
“Yes”
“I suppose I’m supposed to say yes?”
“Present as always”
“Yes”
“Perfect. Now, as we know, the reopen the inner lock, we still need to locate the other three Princesses”
“I must say, this kidnapping Princesses thingy is getting really old”
“SILENCE! Hook, if you do not want to lose your neck again, I suggest you keep your mouth closed! Now, we have nearly cracked the inner and outer locks. We know who the outer lock Princesses are: we kidnapped them to open the Kingdom Hearts before. It’s the inner lock that’s the problem. They’re a complete new set of Princesses of the Heart. If we want this plan to succeed and to take over all the worlds, we need to locate the remaining three princesses!”
“Your wickedness, please remind us who the Princesses are again?”
“Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Princess Belle, Cinderella, Alice and that wretched Kairi. They’re not really that important although we still need them. It’s the Inner Lock Princesses who are MUCH more important. Firstly, Jafar, have you managed to distort the Time Frames?”
“Yes your wickedness, the time rates have now been disorientated and are running at different speeds”
“Excellent. Now, have Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy and that idiotic Mickey Mouse been securely imprisoned?
“I have made sure that they are put in the most absurd worlds with the tightest security that I doubt anybody will even find them!”
“Good. Now my scouts have located another Inner Lock Princess of the Heart. She is in your world, Clayton. She goes by the name Jane.
“That foolish girl one of the new Princesses of the Heart? I cannot believe it”
“Believe it because you are to kidnap her and if you fail, you WILL pay very dearly…”
“Yes your wickedness”
Your wickedness, what if we encounter a resistance? There is a legend of a group of new Keybladers and I must admit, I am a bit unnerved about this”
“We will simply crush them. I will not tolerate Keybladers. I am simply sick of them now”
“Your wickedness, I am sorry to interrupt your meeting but our forces had finally emerged victorious. Organization XIII is no more.”
“That must be the best piece of news I heard since we caught Sora”
“I agree your wickedness”
“Most certainly
“Definitely”
“I fear Yen Sid had already discovered of existence. With powers like his, he probably has. So we must get a move on. So Clayton, you know what to do. Morgana, I already told you prior to this meeting the name of the first Inner Lock Princess of the Heart. All of you, we still need to recapture the old Princesses of the Heart. Everyone, you may use what ever methods required to capture the Princesses. In the mean time I will try and locate the other five new Princesses of the Heart. Clear”
“Affirmative”
“Then we are all set. Meeting dismissed”
“Oh your wickedness, what shall we call you in the mean time?”
“You may call me Maleficent”…
Yen Sid took his gaze off the crystal ball. What he had suspected had become true. Due to the different time rates, this meeting he had just seen had actually taken place four weeks ago. So this explained why Princesses Aurora, Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Alice and Kairi had gone missing. Maleficent had returned. He then took out the parchment he and Merlin had examined before. If what Maleficent had said was true, then there was a very slight chance, six Keyblades may still exist.
Sora was needed. But he had kidnapped and now in goodness knows what, and so his duty would be passed down to other people. If the legend was true then he must find the Keybladers for it was their only hope. He took out a map. He needed to protect Jane and the other new Princesses. Somebody also now had to lock the hearts of the worlds again. Yen Sid hoped that the legend was true…
Summary:
You are one of the predestined Keybladers of Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith. You don’t know that. You don’t even know about any other worlds apart from yours and Traverse Town. But the time rates in the worlds have been distorted; in some worlds decades have past while in others have only seen a few days. Your goal is lock up the Hearts of the Worlds, fight against Maleficent and her newly formed group of villians, protect/save Jane and the other six new Princesses, rescue Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy, Mickey and the old Princesses of the Heart and try and solve the mystery of the Inner and outer locks. And the Heartless everywhere, these days it's unwise to travel... Your adventure starts in Traverse Town where you will first meet your Keyblade…
Okay, now that that’s done, I suppose I have to explain technical terms now?
Keyblades and Other Weapons: The main weapon in Kingdom Hearts, the Keyblade, is the only thing that can lock the worlds, thus preventing the Heartless from consuming the heart of a world. It is one of the few weapons that can destroy the Heartless and Nobodies completely. It can basically lock/unlock anything, including one’s heart. It’s said that the Keyblade has the power to save the world, but also is said that it has the power to create chaos. The Kingdom Key is the main form of a Keyblade. It can be upgraded via keychains, each of which change its appearance and powers. You can use weapons like guns, swords, axes, shields, bows and arrows, whatever your heart desires. They can’t lock/unlock things, but they can change form using different chains, like Keychains. But the main weapon is the Keyblade and everyone MUST have one. You can get bows and arrows and all that stuff as extra weapons but everyone MUST have a Keyblade of either Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith.
Worlds: Yeah, my favourite part. We travel to the worlds through Gummi ships, weird spaceships that are used to travel to different worlds, when the paths are open. We’ll get one through one way or another. More about this later. In this RPG, pretty much everyone has been expanded one way or another. Also I added some new worlds (all Disney-based) as a few of the new Princesses might reside there. (Hint, Hint) May be even Sora’s held captive in one of them! (Bigger Hint, hint) Now here is a list of ALL the worlds will have to visit sometime or another. I’m going to use the time of Sora’s disappearance as a set point to help differentiate the different time rates in the worlds.
Traverse Town: The town where we begin in this RPG. Only one year had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is a refuge for all those whose worlds have been destroyed by the Heartless and had barely managed to escape with their own lived. Traverse Town consists of the fragments of the worlds destroyed by the Heartless. Because of this, it is no longer an individual world, and all of it became the parts of the worlds they once were. So every time a world is destroyed, it gets bigger so when its old inhabitants come, they at least have room to stay in. Many familiar characters from the Final Fantasy Series hang around here, and all of them have a good deal of knowledge on the legends of the Keyblades and Ansem, as they come from the world Ansem once lived in.
Disney Castle: This is where the royal Kingdom ruling over the worlds live. Only one year had past here since Sora’s disappearance. King Mickey is supposed to rule, but Queen Minnie and Daisy Duck rule in his absence. There’s a powerful magical shield protecting the castle, preventing all entrances unless you have proof that you’re on their side, and permission to enter. It’s pretty well protected but these days, you never know…
Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden: It was once the base for the Heartless, but now it has been restored to a wonderful bustling town where several people live in. Actually, it’s more like a new and improved Traverse Town. Two years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is also the home to the Beauty and the Beast where recently Belle had been kidnapped…
Twilight Town: Twilight Town is a beautiful world that has a town split into two parts, the shopping district and the residential district, with a train that connects the two. This world is the homeworld of Yen Sid and the three good fairies; Fauna, Flora and Merryweather. One year has passed here since the disappearance of Sora. There is also a huge clock tower in the middle of the town that is part of a train station. This gigantic station is on top of a hill that overlooks the shopping district. The trains from here head to the ocean as well as the Sunset residential district. The clock tower is seen as the symbol of Twilight Town and is loved by its citizens. Toward the end of summer vacation, the station sets up a campaign of free use of the trains, so the station becomes filled with children. This world has a curious old mansion which is forbidden to all…
Destiny Islands: Destiny Islands is an archipelago where Sora, Riku, Kairi, and their friends Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie grew up. One and a half years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. Apart from the islands, this whole world is basically a large ocean. A large population of humans live here, and most of them do not know of other worlds outside their own.
Deep Jungle: Home to Tarzan, Jane, Clayton, and Jane’s father-the Professor, the heart of the scorching tropical jungle is the core of this world, filled with lush flora and curious fauna. Three years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. The primary inhabitants of this world are gorillas, who live in secretive corners of the jungle and resist intrusion. The jungle also plays home to leopards, hippos, and many other jungle creatures, including the Heartless' mimicry of the local animals. Travelling in this world is done by climbing up trees and jumping onto vines. There is also Tarzan’s Tree house and the giant British ship which originally brought Jane and her family and crew from London.
Agrabah: Agrabah is a desert city ruled by a sultan, a city of mystery and enchantment. The city includes the sultan’s beautiful palace, Aladdin and Jasmine’s home and the Market Place where Aladdin once lived in. Four years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is the home world of Aladdin, Genie Jasmine, Iago and Jafar, It is situated in the middle of a vast sea of sand which also contains the legendary Cave of Wonders. Legend holds that those who are worthy of entrance to the Cave will find untold treasures within. Jasmine had been recently kidnapped here…
Atlantica: Atlantica is an underwater kingdom ruled by King Triton. Its inhabitants are mermaids and sea creatures, all living out their lives beneath the waves. A massive eleven years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. Most of them have never seen the world above the ocean, much less the other worlds the Heartless threaten. Far outside the city walls is Ursula’s lair which has many of the sea witch’s old concoctions inside it but now had been abandoned. There is also the Artic Ocean in the North where Morgana and her servants live in their icy lair. Also, there is the “outside” world, consisting of the beach and King Eric and Queen Ariel’s royal palace which many humans now live in. This world is the home to King Eric and Queen Ariel and the humans and King Triton and the Merpeople. It has been many years since Ursula’s death but now her neglected sister Morgana threatens the life of the recently turned eleven year-old daughter of Eric and Ariel, Princess Melody. While underwater in this world, you are partially changed into an aquatic creature but while in King Eric and Queen Ariel’s palace, you are human. (Morgana, Melody, hint, hint)
Olympus Coliseum: Home to Hercules, Megara, Phil and Hades, Olympus Coliseum was once the training grounds on which Sora could become stronger by participating in competitions and fights against powerful optional bosses. It has now been closed, due to Hades and his Heartless. A good six years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This world consists of Hades’s Underworld, complete with the River Styx and all the horrible evil monsters, including the Titans, Hydra, Cerberus and the Fates. Outside the once Olympus Coliseum, is the city of Thebes, home to Hercules, Megara and Phil. It is a mystical ‘Greek’ city, where many old contenders of the Coliseum Tournaments such as Sephiroth and Cloud Strife now live in.
Halloween Town: Home to Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie, this world’s existence is completely centred around Halloween. Its inhabitants, under the guidance of Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King, create Halloween each year for those who celebrate it. It is a spooky town, which most its architecture and its general atmosphere and mood is heavily influenced by Halloween. Even the appearance of the inhabitants are influenced by Halloween. Therefore, upon entering this world, your appearance, like the inhabitants', is changed and mutated to a grotesque, "Halloween" type appearance. There is also a secret portal in the woods of Halloween Town leading to Christmas Town. Eight years have passed here since the disappearance of Sora.
Wonderland: Wonderland is a strange and often confusing world where the inhabitants speak in riddles and the very scenery is changeable. Filled with odd creatures, talking plants, and walking cards and unhindered by the laws of physics and perspective, it can be off-putting for those who can't navigate its quirks. Wonderland is ruled by the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Like the Cheshire Cat quotes, “Most everyone goes mad here.” There is a grand hedge maze where if you do not be careful, you might lose your way and your sanity. If you get past the Doorknob, in this world, there is also the outside “world” where Alice, her sister and her cat Dinah live. One year have past here since the disappearance of Sora. The Cheshire Cat (my favourite character), The White Rabbit, The Doorknob, The Caterpillar, The Members of the Mad Tea Party, The Card Guards and the talking flowers are some of this world’s strange inhabitants.
Neverland: Home to Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Darling children and most notably, Captain Hook, Neverland is a haven for lost boys who don't want to grow up, Neverland will preserve the youth of any children who happen upon it. An island populated by Indians and harried by pirates, it was a fantastic dream for any young boy, until the Heartless appeared. Though saved from destruction by Sora's strength, Neverland is still harried by Heartless, who serve as a constant reminder of the adult world outside its borders. Five years have passed here since Sora’s disappearance but it doesn’t really matter here. Neverland consists of an island inhabited by mermaids, pirates and Indians live. All age growth for children is suppressed. Apart from the island, you can also access the Big Ben and the Darling Children’s Nursery.
The Land of Dragons: The Land of Dragons is a world where a brave young woman called Mulan who tries to protect her father and at the same time, tries to show everyone what she truly is; a brave warrior, by pretending to be a man and enlisting herself in the Imperial Army. This world is home to Mulan, Mushu, Captain Shang and the wicked Hun, Shan-Yu. It consists of the snowy Chinese mountains and the Capital City and it’s Imperial Palace where the Emperor lives. Two years have past here since the disappearance of Sora.
Port Royal: Consisting of a Caribbean port where pirates use as a trading port and a place to stay, this world is called home by Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. In this world, there are cursed pirates, led by the mutinous Captain Barbossa, who are undead until the last of the stolen Aztec gold is returned. One year had passed here since the disappearance of Sora.
Pride Lands: This world is the African terrain, ranging from the lush grass plains to the desert sands. Simba and his family call this world home. The primary inhabitants of The Pride Lands are lions, hyenas, zebras, leopards and many more animals and birds. Like Atlantica, upon entering the Pride Lands, you are changed into an animal version of yourself. Three years had passed since Sora’s disappearance.
Modern Hawaii: Modern Hawaii is a world which Experiment 626 “Stitch”, Lilo Pelekai, Nani Pelekai, Jumba Jookiba and Agent Pleakley call home. Also known as the Twenty-First Century, this world consists of a series of islands called Hawaii where humans live in relative harmony. But this world is also home to the villain Captain Gantu. Jumba and Pleakley are from another section of this world that currently cannot be accessed. One year has passed here since Sora’s disappearance.
The Kingdom of the Sun: This world is mainly a remote mountain South American Village and Yzma’s secret underground laboratory. The main characters of the Emperor’s New Groove, Kuzco, Pacha and the devious chief adviser Yzma call this world home. Two years have passed here since Sora’s disappearance.
Atlantis: This world can only be accessed from Atlantica by unlocking it with the help of King Triton. Atlantis is a world that is an underwater empire that has been hidden for centuries. Atlantis is a mystical and surreal underwater city, but it contains many mysteries…
Middleton City: Home of Kim Possible and her team mates, Middleton City is a metropolitan world where humans mostly inhabit the land. It is an average everyday Twenty-First Century world, similar to Modern Hawaii. It’s most famous aspects are Middleton High School, Middleton Mall and Middleton Institute of Technology. This world is also home to Dr. Drakken, Shego and Monkey Fist. This world can only be reached from Modern Hawaii.
I’m not going to reveal the other worlds just yet.
Your character can come from any world. But if the world is not Disney nor Final Fantasy based, just say the world was destroyed by the Heartless. No over-powered characters please.
Basic rules:
1) No God-Modding or 'invincible' players.
2) I have the right to expel or refuse anyone who does not meet my standards.
3) You have a right to know why I am expelling/refusing you.
4) I expect you to at least skim each person’s post so you know what is happening. There is nothing more annoying than when someone defeats a certain Heartless in their post, and the next person posts saying that their character is fighting the certain Heartless. -_-;; So READ!
5) If you are going to swear excessively, post a warning at the top of your post please. I don’t mind swearing if it is appropriate for that situation, but no needless swearing please.
6) No extreme romance, i.e. No sex scenes. I don’t expect any, as obviously it will be kind of hard to find love in these hard times any way but if you are thinking of developing a relationship between two characters, kissing is the maximum you can do.
7) No bunnying, i.e. controlling another RPGer’s character. You can only control another person’s character with their expressed permission VIA PM.
8) Try to post at least once every two days. I don't want this to die as soon as it starts.
9) If your Sign-Up doesn’t meet my standards, I will refuse it. You may edit appropriately and resubmit it but beware, every time I refuse it, you will lose one chance. Each person has three chances. If you lose all your chances, tough luck, you can’t join the RPG.

I am cracking down on grammar, length and depth in this RPG. I will not, I repeat, not accept anyone who I feel cannot uphold to my grammar and RPG’ing standards.
Be warned: when the RPG starts, I will not hesitate to expel any members of the Team who don’t post long replies. No five line additions to the RPG, that’s not a post. Plus, I expect some level of maturity in your posts, and a basic usage of proper, and possibly advanced, English.

Keep in mind that this is NOT Sora’s story. It is related but not the same. The events in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and the events in Kingdom Hearts II had NOT happened. Remember to keep your characters far away from Sora. In the RPG, you’ll have NO IDEA about Ansem, Maleficent and anything major; there is no real reason you should. Don’t make your character like he/she was sitting right behind Sora all the time. Nobody could have apart from the main witnesses. Your character is one of the predestined Keybladers. You must choose one of the following Keyblades. Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith. Only ONE person can have each Keyblade and as I’m taking Friendship, basically only five other people will be in this RPG. I’m sorry but I wanted to try out of a RPG with not many people in it. If this is popular, I may think of a way to include LSUs in the RPG.

Description: Ken is a not a normal boy, in more ways than one. His height is average for his age and his weight is also average for his height and age but Ken is no average boy. He has black hair that stops just below the top of his ears and is straight and silky looking. But sometimes, his hair seems to be dark amethyst colour at times... His eyes are a light hazy colour--the colour is not definite but it sometimes appears to be a hazy grey. He has pale skin that may look soft and supple but in reality, battle hardened by many hard and traumatic experiences. He has lithe limbs and he is very flexible and agile for his age. People say he is handsome but Ken doesn’t believe that and he has a fairly slender and decent build. He wears a middle sleeved T-shirt with a zigzagged cobalt stripe in the middle and over it; he wears a dark amethyst jacket with a zigzagged cobalt stripe on each arm sleeve. He also wears pair of sea green cerulean cargo pants. He also carries two semi-automatic pistols on him.
Personality: To put it simply, Ken is a loner. He is the most antisocial person you ever met. He will try and detract from any social circle and often makes sarcastic and sadistic, even callous remarks about people. Ken thinks Friendship is an idiotic thing; a fantasy for fools. Ken is also bitter towards people, detracting any people who want to be his friends. This was partly to do with all the suffering he had. But that’s just his exterior. Underneath all the harsh words and cold exterior is a warm heart. He is a surprisingly compassionate and caring person if you know him well, but nobody knows him well; Ken never had a real friend before…
History: Ken was born and lived on Luca City, part of Spira, for all of his life. He loved the water and the sea and was bought up right next to it. He soon became a child prodigy; being exceptionally talented in all forms of academics but he was especially talented in the area of magic and was exceptionally adept at using guns. But unfortunately, his father was an Al Bhed, his mother was a Yevonite, Ken never really fitted in either group. As a “half-breed”, he faced racial prejudice everyday. Ken, as a result, became a loner, he bottled up all his anger, pain loneliness and frustration and he slowly but surely became the antisocial loner he is currently today. Then that faithful day came; Ken’s life was about to take a turn for the worse when the Heartless invaded his home world. Ken lived to tell the tale, but his parents and his friends never made it out alive. In grief, Ken wandered around Spira, trying to find a purpose in life, when he finally fainted out of exhaustion in the Deserts of Spira. When he woke up again, he was in Traverse Town; Spira had fallen. Ken now takes any chance to avenge his parents and friends’ deaths. Ken vowed to kill any Heartless or Nobodies around. Ken doesn't know if there were any of his kind, the people of Spira, have survived, all he knows is that he's alive and he had to make sure others don’t suffer what he had. Ken still looks at the brighter side of things, but woe to all who step in his path as Ken is determined to eliminate the Heartless, once and for all.

Spells/Abilities:
Ken is what they call in Spira, a gun mage; an efficient gunner who is also adept at magic. As far as spells go, Ken excels at Water specific magic and Ice specific magic such as Blizzard and Water. Here are his most commonly used spells.
Freezing Bubbles: Ken conjures a blast of bubbles which conform to create a thick blanket of fog. The fog created will cause Water/Ice Elemental Damage and will freeze the enemy on contact.
Aqua Wave: Ken summons a powerful wave of water out of mid-air that can freeze or destroy enemies. Ken uses the moisture in the air to summon the wave or by using nearby sources of water.
Hydro Cyclone: Ken casts a spell that causes and summons water all nearby water and/or moisture in the air to engulf its target in powerful waves of water and drown it in an underwater cyclone. This attack drains Ken energy at a fast rate so the longer it is maintained, the more energy used.
Water Stream: This is a simple attack. Ken fires a powerful stream of water sent from the hands or his Keyblade.
Aquatic Manipulation: Ken can manipulate all sources of water and control it under his will. This attack can only be used if there is a large source of water nearby. The energy usage for this spell depends on what it is used for.
Escape Fog: Conjures a thick mist/fog that spreads everywhere. The fog itself is completely harmless.
Also, as Ken is an expert gun mage, he is very adept with pistols; he has good aim and great coordination. He has this ability though.
Aqua Rapid-Fire: Ken summons the moisture in the air to gather and form aquatic bullets. These bullets will cause Water elemental damage, therefore causing more magical damage than physical damage although it still causes some physical damage. Ken can only use this if he has no more bullets left and using this ability continuously for long periods of time drains him of energy severely.
Atlantica Form: Ken in this form has no shirt, and his body from the waist down transforms into an alligator’s lower half of the body; legs, claws and tail. Ken’s alligator scales are a strange colour though, an impressive shade of indigo.
Pride Lands Form: Ken becomes a young leopard in this world. His body turns into a young leopard cub, his hands turning into paws and the rest of his body following the example. His eyes and face still remain the same though.
Halloween Town Form: Ken becomes male harpy-vampire. He gains large black raven-like wings and his feet turn into razor-sharp talons. His wings give Ken the ability of flight and he can lift around the twice his weight of the ground. Ken’s face becomes more angular and gaunt and his skin turns into an ashen tone. His hair is longer and his eyes turn into a hazy red colour and his incisors are lengthened. Ken dons a black robe and jet-black pants which are tattered around the angles. He also dons a frayed grey scarf around his neck. Ken obviously doesn’t wear shoes in this form.
~Kingdom Hearts: A Heart in Darkness~
The Heartless… Such mysterious creatures they are… They were once like us… But they have fallen into the darkness, swallowed into a void of nightmares and chaos. No light shall ever shine into that void… They are simply Heartless… They hate those with hearts; fear them, because once they were just like them…
Somewhere in a world, there is a core of it. A heart, you may call it. It holds each and every fragment of a person. It archives each person’s story from the beginning to the end… It holds positive emotions of courage, kindness, friendship, and negative emotions of revenge, hatred, distrust. It is the very essence of life; the very heart of all beings…
There are things in each world that mustn’t be discovered… Such as the heart of a world… The centre of a world is sealed away by a door, a gate, to never be opened again, for so it has been said and should ever be.
Although some do good and right, others are corrupted into darkness; seduced by evil. However, their hearts, the last goodness inside them, fight back against the darkness, and eventually these two powers collide and create two separate beings… the Heartless and the Nobodies…
As the Heartless are a body without a heart, the Nobodies are a heart without a true body. As Heartless are usually black and complied of true darkness, Nobodies are usually dressed in white or grey colours… The Heartless search for their hearts… The Nobodies search for their bodies… They do not really care for the hearts of the worlds but they will go to extraordinary lengths to gain what they hunger for; their bodies…
The Heartless and Nobodies then began a conquest of the worlds. They swarmed and take over many diverse worlds. This was found odd by many people, as they did not understand these strange beings. Many fell to the hands of these creatures…
The true reason for the Heartless and Nobodies swarms of destruction was because of one scientist, who went by the name Ansem, had fallen into darkness. Corrupted by darkness, persuaded with empty promises of power, Ansem hungered for what the Heartless truly desire; the Kingdom Hearts…
Kingdom Hearts… The Heart of all Worlds… The Heartless hunt for the legendary Kingdom Hearts, searching to destroy what has been ripped from their bodies; theirs hearts…
To unlock the seven locks on the door, Ansem searched for seven girls known as the Princesses of the Heart from the worlds. Being of pure heart, they could open the locks set on the door to Kingdom Hearts… Ansem would have succeeded… If it wasn’t for Sora…
It all began on a typical day on the world of lush, tropical islands called Destiny Islands, home to three adventurous children; Sora, a brown-haired boy of only fourteen, Riku a silver-haired fifteen year-old, and Kairi, a kind girl of a tender fourteen years. The three wished to leave the island that they have been confined to all their life, so they decided to build a raft to escape. Little did they know that they would soon face things beyond their dreams- and their nightmares…
The night before the voyage, a terrible storm swept through the island, and then the Heartless appeared… You know what happened next…
The three friends are separated… Sora was left by himself… The Heartless went on and destroyed the Destiny Islands… After the battle, Sora received a curious key-shaped sword, the mystical Keyblade, and he set out to defeat the Heartless and be reunited with his friends.
From the Destiny Islands, Sora lands in Traverse Town, a refuge world to all of those who have suffered the wrath of the Heartless and the Nobodies and had their worlds destroyed, where he joined Goofy and Donald Duck, two knights of the Disney Castle, in their quest to find their king, Mickey Mouse, and defeat the Heartless.
In their adventures, the trio explored many strange worlds, including the mystical Agrabah and the underwater world Atlantica. Along their way, they had to lock the “keyholes” to the heart of those worlds, preventing the Heartless from destroying their worlds. Slowly, a turn in the tide started to proceed… But Ansem was not finished with yet…
However, standing in Sora, Goofy and Donald’s way was a group of powerful so called “Disney” villains with the evil Maleficent as their leader and more shockingly, Riku as her apprentice. The goal of Maleficent and her group was to kidnap the seven “Princesses of Heart”, in order to open the pathway to Kingdom Hearts, which is supposedly an arsenal of power and knowledge Maleficent intends to use in her plan to rule all worlds.
Maleficent kidnapped the seven “Princesses” from their different worlds. Starting with Sleep Beauty, the group slowly kidnapped the other princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine and Alice. But they were not able to find the seventh Princess. It was a mystery who she was…
Finally reaching the world of Hollow Bastion, the headquarters of the Heartless and Maleficent, Sora confronted Riku directly. But before Sora was able to discover the true reasons to Riku’s strange behaviour, Sora, Donald and Goofy were to face and defeat Maleficent. It was a tough battle but in the end Sora emerged victorious against Maleficent.
They had fought on numerous occasions, and it wasn’t until then that Sora discovered who this Riku really was. The real Riku, his old friend, was sealed away by Ansem, who had took over Riku’s body. Ansem had finished gathering the seven Princesses of Heart, the seventh being Kairi who he had already kidnapped, opened the door to Kingdom Hearts.
They fled from Hollow Bastion in face of the immense number of Heartless pouring through the pathway to Kingdom Hearts. But Sora eventually returned to lock the keyhole of Hollow Bastion and he and his companions travelled to Kingdom Hearts itself, facing Ansem in a climactic final battle.
Though the light of Kingdom Hearts defeated Ansem, the door threatened to unleash millions of Heartless onto the universe. Sora, Donald and Goofy attempted to close the door, but their strength was not enough. Riku, who had regained his body, helped the others close the door on the other side, along with King Mickey Mouse. Using his own Keyblade, Mickey locks Kingdom Hearts from the inside, but this forced himself and Riku to stay inside. Before the door was locked, Riku told Sora to take care of Kairi. Sora and Kairi's reunion was cut extremely short as they were pulled apart by the reforming Destiny Islands. Sora promised to return to Kairi once he found a way to bring Riku out of Kingdom Hearts.
That was the last anyone saw of him…
Many years had past since Sora sealed away Kingdom Hearts. Worlds were reborn and things had finally seemed to be in place. Peace was everyone. Although many were destroyed, the Heartless still remain, but were in hiding. Ansem was dead. Maleficient and her group were dead. All possible threats were eliminated. That’s what they thought. They were wrong…
In Disney Castle, the magician Yen Sid, with the help of Merlin uncovered a startling ancient parchment. On it was an ancient legend of the Keyblades. This is what the parchment said:
The Keyblade, is the only thing that can lock the worlds, thus preventing the Heartless from consuming the heart of a world. It is one of the few weapons that can destroy the Heartless and Nobodies completely. It is said that the Keyblade has the power to save the world, but also is said that it has the power to create chaos. The Keyblade also has the ability to close and open all kinds of doors and locks. The Keyblade chooses its master so there are very few Keybladers in the worlds. In fact, only eight Keyblades exist. These Keyblades are the most powerful weapons ever to appear. These Keyblades are called the Legendary Keyblades.
In the beginning of time, when the Eight Keyblades were first created, each one was partnered with a predestined master who will be it’s one and only true Keyblader. These people will be called the Legendary Keyblades, the ones who will defeat the dark force. The Keyblades will not appear until the time is right and only their chosen user can wield them.
Yen Sid and Merlin were puzzled. The only two Keybladers they knew were King Mickey and Sora. Who were these other six? The two wizards continued reading.
Many years ago, when the worlds were still young, an entity of pure evil emerged. It had powers beyond people’s imaginations. It was almost invincible. Soon this evil spread throughout the worlds like an epidemic and consumed the hearts of people with evil and corrupted them. People were in despair; they did not know what to do. But the Eight Legendary Keybladers emerged. The two leaders of the group, the Keyblader of Light and the Keyblader of Darkness, led the Keybladers of Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith in a climatic battle against the evil. The Keybladers won but were only able to seal the evil away, for the cost of their lives. The Keybladers then in their dying breath, transformed themselves into pure magical entity, and were to be reborn, reincarnated, resurrected as another person, different yet with the same Heart, to save the world; when the time is right. Their Keyblades became dormant, hidden in the chasms of time, to be reawakened when the time is right; when their wielder has reappeared.
As legend goes, the Keybladers of Light and Darkness were to prepare the way for the other Keybladers; they were to appear first and save the worlds from a deadly threat; but only a shadow of a much more powerful evil. The other Keybladers will only appeared when the time is right and when the Keybladers of Light and Darkness had been defeated and imprisoned by the true evil. Only then will the other six Keybladers appear, and save the other two and together, the eight shall defeat the evil, once and for all. We do not know what this evil is but we know it had sealed away by the Keybladers before; they put two locks on it; an inner lock and an outer lock. There is no known way of opening these locks; we do not even know their location. But we do know that the poor soul who tries the open it shall feel the indescribable pain and shall deeply regret it…
Yen Sid and Merlin were startled. They could not make head or tail of what this legend was talking about. They dismissed it as a myth and they ignored it. Little did they know of its importance…
Only days after Yen Sid and Merlin had discovered the parchment, the word came from Traverse Town to Disney Castle that the Heartless and Nobodies had rallied up and destroyed a small world. But that was only the beginning… Soon the previously dormant Heartless and Nobodies had begun a conquest of the worlds, beginning to swarm and take over many different lands. This was found odd by many people; why were they suddenly swarming and attacking them? They awaited the return of Sora and his friends, combating the creatures as best as they could until then. However, many worlds fell to the monster’s plights…
Many worlds were destroyed. People tried to combat this invasion as best as they can but all were baffled by how well-planned this invasion was, considering Ansem and Maleficent were now dead. Something dreadfully wrong was going on, but nobody could figure out a way to stop it… Slowly people started to lose hope… Yen Sid then also noted that the Time Frames of the Worlds were passing at drastically different rates… For some worlds many years had passed… For others only it was only a few minutes… They did not know why this was happening but the person behind this was much more deadly than they thought…
“Your wickedness, another Princess has been located”
“Good. Things are going to plan then. Are the others coming? ”
“Yes, the Queen of Hearts’ carriage has just arrived”
“Good, very good. Morgana and Hades as well?”
“Yes your wickedness. Also the word has come; we have now got all the Heartless on our side and most the Nobodies as well.”
“Excellent. Now let the guests come in”
“As you wish your wickedness”
“Your wickedness! It is such an honour to see you again!”
“Yes! We tried to contact you earlier but that meddling Sora had got in our way!”
“I agree with the Queen of Hearts your wickedness”
“Silence! Silence, all of you! I did not call you here to hear your snivelling excuses. So we are all present?”
“Most definitely your wickedness”
“Yes your wickedness”
“Of course”
“I’m here with you your wickedness”
“Always by your side”
“I agree”
“Present”
“Can’t be without you”
“I agree your wickedness”
“Yes”
“I suppose I’m supposed to say yes?”
“Present as always”

“Perfect. Now, as we know, the reopen the inner lock, we still need to locate the other three Princesses”
“I must say, this kidnapping Princesses thingy is getting really old”
“SILENCE! Hook, if you do not want to lose your neck again, I suggest you keep your mouth closed! Now, we have nearly cracked the inner and outer locks. We know who the outer lock Princesses are: we kidnapped them to open the Kingdom Hearts before. It’s the inner lock that’s the problem. They’re a complete new set of Princesses of the Heart. If we want this plan to succeed and to take over all the worlds, we need to locate the remaining three princesses!”
“Your wickedness, please remind us who the Princesses are again?”
“Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Princess Belle, Cinderella, Alice and that wretched Kairi. They’re not really that important although we still need them. It’s the Inner Lock Princesses who are MUCH more important. Firstly, Jafar, have you managed to distort the Time Frames?”
“Yes your wickedness, the time rates have now been disorientated and are running at different speeds”
“Excellent. Now, have Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy and that idiotic Mickey Mouse been securely imprisoned?
“I have made sure that they are put in the most absurd worlds with the tightest security that I doubt anybody will even find them!”
“Good. Now my scouts have located another Inner Lock Princess of the Heart. She is in your world, Clayton. She goes by the name Jane.
“That foolish girl one of the new Princesses of the Heart? I cannot believe it”
“Believe it because you are to kidnap her and if you fail, you WILL pay very dearly…”
“Yes your wickedness”
Your wickedness, what if we encounter a resistance? There is a legend of a group of new Keybladers and I must admit, I am a bit unnerved about this”
“We will simply crush them. I will not tolerate Keybladers. I am simply sick of them now”
“Your wickedness, I am sorry to interrupt your meeting but our forces had finally emerged victorious. Organization XIII is no more.”
“That must be the best piece of news I heard since we caught Sora”
“I agree your wickedness”
“Most certainly
“Definitely”
“I fear Yen Sid had already discovered of existence. With powers like his, he probably has. So we must get a move on. So Clayton, you know what to do. Morgana, I already told you prior to this meeting the name of the first Inner Lock Princess of the Heart. All of you, we still need to recapture the old Princesses of the Heart. Everyone, you may use what ever methods required to capture the Princesses. In the mean time I will try and locate the other five new Princesses of the Heart. Clear”
“Affirmative”
“Then we are all set. Meeting dismissed”
“Oh your wickedness, what shall we call you in the mean time?”
“You may call me Maleficent”…
Yen Sid took his gaze off the crystal ball. What he had suspected had become true. Due to the different time rates, this meeting he had just seen had actually taken place four weeks ago. So this explained why Princesses Aurora, Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Alice and Kairi had gone missing. Maleficent had returned. He then took out the parchment he and Merlin had examined before. If what Maleficent had said was true, then there was a very slight chance, six Keyblades may still exist.
Sora was needed. But he had kidnapped and now in goodness knows what, and so his duty would be passed down to other people. If the legend was true then he must find the Keybladers for it was their only hope. He took out a map. He needed to protect Jane and the other new Princesses. Somebody also now had to lock the hearts of the worlds again. Yen Sid hoped that the legend was true…
Summary:
You are one of the predestined Keybladers of Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith. You don’t know that. You don’t even know about any other worlds apart from yours and Traverse Town. But the time rates in the worlds have been distorted; in some worlds decades have past while in others have only seen a few days. Your goal is lock up the Hearts of the Worlds, fight against Maleficent and her newly formed group of villians, protect/save Jane and the other six new Princesses, rescue Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy, Mickey and the old Princesses of the Heart and try and solve the mystery of the Inner and outer locks. And the Heartless everywhere, these days it's unwise to travel... Your adventure starts in Traverse Town where you will first meet your Keyblade…
Okay, now that that’s done, I suppose I have to explain technical terms now?
Keyblades and Other Weapons: The main weapon in Kingdom Hearts, the Keyblade, is the only thing that can lock the worlds, thus preventing the Heartless from consuming the heart of a world. It is one of the few weapons that can destroy the Heartless and Nobodies completely. It can basically lock/unlock anything, including one’s heart. It’s said that the Keyblade has the power to save the world, but also is said that it has the power to create chaos. The Kingdom Key is the main form of a Keyblade. It can be upgraded via keychains, each of which change its appearance and powers. You can use weapons like guns, swords, axes, shields, bows and arrows, whatever your heart desires. They can’t lock/unlock things, but they can change form using different chains, like Keychains. But the main weapon is the Keyblade and everyone MUST have one. You can get bows and arrows and all that stuff as extra weapons but everyone MUST have a Keyblade of either Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith.
Worlds: Yeah, my favourite part. We travel to the worlds through Gummi ships, weird spaceships that are used to travel to different worlds, when the paths are open. We’ll get one through one way or another. More about this later. In this RPG, pretty much everyone has been expanded one way or another. Also I added some new worlds (all Disney-based) as a few of the new Princesses might reside there. (Hint, Hint) May be even Sora’s held captive in one of them! (Bigger Hint, hint) Now here is a list of ALL the worlds will have to visit sometime or another. I’m going to use the time of Sora’s disappearance as a set point to help differentiate the different time rates in the worlds.
Traverse Town: The town where we begin in this RPG. Only one year had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is a refuge for all those whose worlds have been destroyed by the Heartless and had barely managed to escape with their own lived. Traverse Town consists of the fragments of the worlds destroyed by the Heartless. Because of this, it is no longer an individual world, and all of it became the parts of the worlds they once were. So every time a world is destroyed, it gets bigger so when its old inhabitants come, they at least have room to stay in. Many familiar characters from the Final Fantasy Series hang around here, and all of them have a good deal of knowledge on the legends of the Keyblades and Ansem, as they come from the world Ansem once lived in.
Disney Castle: This is where the royal Kingdom ruling over the worlds live. Only one year had past here since Sora’s disappearance. King Mickey is supposed to rule, but Queen Minnie and Daisy Duck rule in his absence. There’s a powerful magical shield protecting the castle, preventing all entrances unless you have proof that you’re on their side, and permission to enter. It’s pretty well protected but these days, you never know…
Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden: It was once the base for the Heartless, but now it has been restored to a wonderful bustling town where several people live in. Actually, it’s more like a new and improved Traverse Town. Two years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is also the home to the Beauty and the Beast where recently Belle had been kidnapped…
Twilight Town: Twilight Town is a beautiful world that has a town split into two parts, the shopping district and the residential district, with a train that connects the two. This world is the homeworld of Yen Sid and the three good fairies; Fauna, Flora and Merryweather. One year has passed here since the disappearance of Sora. There is also a huge clock tower in the middle of the town that is part of a train station. This gigantic station is on top of a hill that overlooks the shopping district. The trains from here head to the ocean as well as the Sunset residential district. The clock tower is seen as the symbol of Twilight Town and is loved by its citizens. Toward the end of summer vacation, the station sets up a campaign of free use of the trains, so the station becomes filled with children. This world has a curious old mansion which is forbidden to all…
Destiny Islands: Destiny Islands is an archipelago where Sora, Riku, Kairi, and their friends Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie grew up. One and a half years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. Apart from the islands, this whole world is basically a large ocean. A large population of humans live here, and most of them do not know of other worlds outside their own.
Deep Jungle: Home to Tarzan, Jane, Clayton, and Jane’s father-the Professor, the heart of the scorching tropical jungle is the core of this world, filled with lush flora and curious fauna. Three years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. The primary inhabitants of this world are gorillas, who live in secretive corners of the jungle and resist intrusion. The jungle also plays home to leopards, hippos, and many other jungle creatures, including the Heartless' mimicry of the local animals. Travelling in this world is done by climbing up trees and jumping onto vines. There is also Tarzan’s Tree house and the giant British ship which originally brought Jane and her family and crew from London.
Agrabah: Agrabah is a desert city ruled by a sultan, a city of mystery and enchantment. The city includes the sultan’s beautiful palace, Aladdin and Jasmine’s home and the Market Place where Aladdin once lived in. Four years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This is the home world of Aladdin, Genie Jasmine, Iago and Jafar, It is situated in the middle of a vast sea of sand which also contains the legendary Cave of Wonders. Legend holds that those who are worthy of entrance to the Cave will find untold treasures within. Jasmine had been recently kidnapped here…
Atlantica: Atlantica is an underwater kingdom ruled by King Triton. Its inhabitants are mermaids and sea creatures, all living out their lives beneath the waves. A massive eleven years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. Most of them have never seen the world above the ocean, much less the other worlds the Heartless threaten. Far outside the city walls is Ursula’s lair which has many of the sea witch’s old concoctions inside it but now had been abandoned. There is also the Artic Ocean in the North where Morgana and her servants live in their icy lair. Also, there is the “outside” world, consisting of the beach and King Eric and Queen Ariel’s royal palace which many humans now live in. This world is the home to King Eric and Queen Ariel and the humans and King Triton and the Merpeople. It has been many years since Ursula’s death but now her neglected sister Morgana threatens the life of the recently turned eleven year-old daughter of Eric and Ariel, Princess Melody. While underwater in this world, you are partially changed into an aquatic creature but while in King Eric and Queen Ariel’s palace, you are human. (Morgana, Melody, hint, hint)
Olympus Coliseum: Home to Hercules, Megara, Phil and Hades, Olympus Coliseum was once the training grounds on which Sora could become stronger by participating in competitions and fights against powerful optional bosses. It has now been closed, due to Hades and his Heartless. A good six years had past here since Sora’s disappearance. This world consists of Hades’s Underworld, complete with the River Styx and all the horrible evil monsters, including the Titans, Hydra, Cerberus and the Fates. Outside the once Olympus Coliseum, is the city of Thebes, home to Hercules, Megara and Phil. It is a mystical ‘Greek’ city, where many old contenders of the Coliseum Tournaments such as Sephiroth and Cloud Strife now live in.
Halloween Town: Home to Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie, this world’s existence is completely centred around Halloween. Its inhabitants, under the guidance of Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King, create Halloween each year for those who celebrate it. It is a spooky town, which most its architecture and its general atmosphere and mood is heavily influenced by Halloween. Even the appearance of the inhabitants are influenced by Halloween. Therefore, upon entering this world, your appearance, like the inhabitants', is changed and mutated to a grotesque, "Halloween" type appearance. There is also a secret portal in the woods of Halloween Town leading to Christmas Town. Eight years have passed here since the disappearance of Sora.
Wonderland: Wonderland is a strange and often confusing world where the inhabitants speak in riddles and the very scenery is changeable. Filled with odd creatures, talking plants, and walking cards and unhindered by the laws of physics and perspective, it can be off-putting for those who can't navigate its quirks. Wonderland is ruled by the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Like the Cheshire Cat quotes, “Most everyone goes mad here.” There is a grand hedge maze where if you do not be careful, you might lose your way and your sanity. If you get past the Doorknob, in this world, there is also the outside “world” where Alice, her sister and her cat Dinah live. One year have past here since the disappearance of Sora. The Cheshire Cat (my favourite character), The White Rabbit, The Doorknob, The Caterpillar, The Members of the Mad Tea Party, The Card Guards and the talking flowers are some of this world’s strange inhabitants.
Neverland: Home to Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Darling children and most notably, Captain Hook, Neverland is a haven for lost boys who don't want to grow up, Neverland will preserve the youth of any children who happen upon it. An island populated by Indians and harried by pirates, it was a fantastic dream for any young boy, until the Heartless appeared. Though saved from destruction by Sora's strength, Neverland is still harried by Heartless, who serve as a constant reminder of the adult world outside its borders. Five years have passed here since Sora’s disappearance but it doesn’t really matter here. Neverland consists of an island inhabited by mermaids, pirates and Indians live. All age growth for children is suppressed. Apart from the island, you can also access the Big Ben and the Darling Children’s Nursery.
The Land of Dragons: The Land of Dragons is a world where a brave young woman called Mulan who tries to protect her father and at the same time, tries to show everyone what she truly is; a brave warrior, by pretending to be a man and enlisting herself in the Imperial Army. This world is home to Mulan, Mushu, Captain Shang and the wicked Hun, Shan-Yu. It consists of the snowy Chinese mountains and the Capital City and it’s Imperial Palace where the Emperor lives. Two years have past here since the disappearance of Sora.
Port Royal: Consisting of a Caribbean port where pirates use as a trading port and a place to stay, this world is called home by Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. In this world, there are cursed pirates, led by the mutinous Captain Barbossa, who are undead until the last of the stolen Aztec gold is returned. One year had passed here since the disappearance of Sora.
Pride Lands: This world is the African terrain, ranging from the lush grass plains to the desert sands. Simba and his family call this world home. The primary inhabitants of The Pride Lands are lions, hyenas, zebras, leopards and many more animals and birds. Like Atlantica, upon entering the Pride Lands, you are changed into an animal version of yourself. Three years had passed since Sora’s disappearance.
Modern Hawaii: Modern Hawaii is a world which Experiment 626 “Stitch”, Lilo Pelekai, Nani Pelekai, Jumba Jookiba and Agent Pleakley call home. Also known as the Twenty-First Century, this world consists of a series of islands called Hawaii where humans live in relative harmony. But this world is also home to the villain Captain Gantu. Jumba and Pleakley are from another section of this world that currently cannot be accessed. One year has passed here since Sora’s disappearance.
The Kingdom of the Sun: This world is mainly a remote mountain South American Village and Yzma’s secret underground laboratory. The main characters of the Emperor’s New Groove, Kuzco, Pacha and the devious chief adviser Yzma call this world home. Two years have passed here since Sora’s disappearance.
Atlantis: This world can only be accessed from Atlantica by unlocking it with the help of King Triton. Atlantis is a world that is an underwater empire that has been hidden for centuries. It has the main city which Milo, Princess Kida and the greedy and callous Lyle Rourke. Five years had past since Sora’s disappearance. Atlantis is a mystical and surreal underwater city, but it contains many mysteries…
Middleton City: Home of Kim Possible and her team mates, Middleton City is a metropolitan world where humans mostly inhabit the land. It is an average everyday Twenty-First Century world, similar to Modern Hawaii. It’s most famous aspects are Middleton High School, Middleton Mall and Middleton Institute of Technology. This world is also home to Dr. Drakken, Shego and Monkey Fist. This world can only be reached from Modern Hawaii.
I’m not going to reveal the other worlds just yet.
Your character can come from any world. But if the world is not Disney nor Final Fantasy based, just say the world was destroyed by the Heartless. No over-powered characters please.
Basic rules:
1) No God-Modding or 'invincible' players.
2) I have the right to expel or refuse anyone who does not meet my standards.
3) You have a right to know why I am expelling/refusing you.
4) I expect you to at least skim each person’s post so you know what is happening. There is nothing more annoying than when someone defeats a certain Heartless in their post, and the next person posts saying that their character is fighting the certain Heartless. -_-;; So READ!
5) If you are going to swear excessively, post a warning at the top of your post please. I don’t mind swearing if it is appropriate for that situation, but no needless swearing please.
6) No extreme romance, i.e. No sex scenes. I don’t expect any, as obviously it will be kind of hard to find love in these hard times any way but if you are thinking of developing a relationship between two characters, kissing is the maximum you can do.
7) No bunnying, i.e. controlling another RPGer’s character. You can only control another person’s character with their expressed permission VIA PM.
8) Try to post at least once every two days. I don't want this to die as soon as it starts.
9) If your Sign-Up doesn’t meet my standards, I will refuse it. You may edit appropriately and resubmit it but beware, every time I refuse it, you will lose one chance. Each person has three chances. If you lose all your chances, tough luck, you can’t join the RPG.

I am cracking down on grammar, length and depth in this RPG. I will not, I repeat, not accept anyone who I feel cannot uphold to my grammar and RPG’ing standards.
Be warned: when the RPG starts, I will not hesitate to expel any members of the Team who don’t post long replies. No five line additions to the RPG, that’s not a post. Plus, I expect some level of maturity in your posts, and a basic usage of proper, and possibly advanced, English.

Keep in mind that this is NOT Sora’s story. It is related but not the same. The events in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and the events in Kingdom Hearts II had NOT happened. Remember to keep your characters far away from Sora. In the RPG, you’ll have NO IDEA about Ansem, Maleficent and anything major; there is no real reason you should. Don’t make your character like he/she was sitting right behind Sora all the time. Nobody could have apart from the main witnesses. Your character is one of the predestined Keybladers. You must choose one of the following Keyblades. Courage, Love, Friendship, Wisdom, Kindness and Faith. Only ONE person can have each Keyblade and as I’m taking Friendship, basically only five other people will be in this RPG. I’m sorry but I wanted to try out of a RPG with not many people in it. If this is popular, I may think of a way to include LSUs in the RPG.

Description: Ken is a not a normal boy, in more ways than one. His height is average for his age and his weight is also average for his height and age but Ken is no average boy. He has black hair that stops just below the top of his ears and is straight and silky looking. But sometimes, his hair seems to be dark amethyst colour at times... His eyes are a light hazy colour--the colour is not definite but it sometimes appears to be a hazy grey. He has pale skin that may look soft and supple but in reality, battle hardened by many hard and traumatic experiences. He has lithe limbs and he is very flexible and agile for his age. People say he is handsome but Ken doesn’t believe that and he has a fairly slender and decent build. He wears a middle sleeved T-shirt with a zigzagged cobalt stripe in the middle and over it; he wears a dark amethyst jacket with a zigzagged cobalt stripe on each arm sleeve. He also wears pair of sea green cerulean cargo pants. He also carries two semi-automatic pistols on him.
Personality: To put it simply, Ken is a loner. He is the most antisocial person you ever met. He will try and detract from any social circle and often makes sarcastic and sadistic, even callous remarks about people. Ken thinks Friendship is an idiotic thing; a fantasy for fools. Ken is also bitter towards people, detracting any people who want to be his friends. This was partly to do with all the suffering he had. But that’s just his exterior. Underneath all the harsh words and cold exterior is a warm heart. He is a surprisingly compassionate and caring person if you know him well, but nobody knows him well; Ken never had a real friend before…
History: Ken was born and lived on Luca City, part of Spira, for all of his life. He loved the water and the sea and was bought up right next to it. He soon became a child prodigy; being exceptionally talented in all forms of academics but he was especially talented in the area of magic and was exceptionally adept at using guns. But unfortunately, his father was an Al Bhed, his mother was a Yevonite, Ken never really fitted in either group. As a “half-breed”, he faced racial prejudice everyday. Ken, as a result, became a loner, he bottled up all his anger, pain loneliness and frustration and he slowly but surely became the antisocial loner he is currently today. Then that faithful day came; Ken’s life was about to take a turn for the worse when the Heartless invaded his home world. Ken lived to tell the tale, but his parents and his friends never made it out alive. In grief, Ken wandered around Spira, trying to find a purpose in life, when he finally fainted out of exhaustion in the Deserts of Spira. When he woke up again, he was in Traverse Town; Spira had fallen. Ken now takes any chance to avenge his parents and friends’ deaths. Ken vowed to kill any Heartless or Nobodies around. Ken doesn't know if there were any of his kind, the people of Spira, have survived, all he knows is that he's alive and he had to make sure others don’t suffer what he had. Ken still looks at the brighter side of things, but woe to all who step in his path as Ken is determined to eliminate the Heartless, once and for all.

Spells/Abilities:
Ken is what they call in Spira, a gun mage; an efficient gunner who is also adept at magic. As far as spells go, Ken excels at Water specific magic and Ice specific magic such as Blizzard and Water. Here are his most commonly used spells.
Freezing Bubbles: Ken conjures a blast of bubbles which conform to create a thick blanket of fog. The fog created will cause Water/Ice Elemental Damage and will freeze the enemy on contact.
Aqua Wave: Ken summons a powerful wave of water out of mid-air that can freeze or destroy enemies. Ken uses the moisture in the air to summon the wave or by using nearby sources of water.
Hydro Cyclone: Ken casts a spell that causes and summons water all nearby water and/or moisture in the air to engulf its target in powerful waves of water and drown it in an underwater cyclone. This attack drains Ken energy at a fast rate so the longer it is maintained, the more energy used.
Water Stream: This is a simple attack. Ken fires a powerful stream of water sent from the hands or his Keyblade.
Aquatic Manipulation: Ken can manipulate all sources of water and control it under his will. This attack can only be used if there is a large source of water nearby. The energy usage for this spell depends on what it is used for.
Escape Fog: Conjures a thick mist/fog that spreads everywhere. The fog itself is completely harmless.
Also, as Ken is an expert gun mage, he is very adept with pistols; he has good aim and great coordination. He has this ability though.
Aqua Rapid-Fire: Ken summons the moisture in the air to gather and form aquatic bullets. These bullets will cause Water elemental damage, therefore causing more magical damage than physical damage although it still causes some physical damage. Ken can only use this if he has no more bullets left and using this ability continuously for long periods of time drains him of energy severely.
Atlantica Form: Ken in this form has no shirt, and his body from the waist down transforms into an alligator’s lower half of the body; legs, claws and tail. Ken’s alligator scales are a strange colour though, an impressive shade of indigo.
Pride Lands Form: Ken becomes a young leopard in this world. His body turns into a young leopard cub, his hands turning into paws and the rest of his body following the example. His eyes and face still remain the same though.
Halloween Town Form: Ken becomes male harpy-vampire. He gains large black raven-like wings and his feet turn into razor-sharp talons. His wings give Ken the ability of flight and he can lift around the twice his weight of the ground. Ken’s face becomes more angular and gaunt and his skin turns into an ashen tone. His hair is longer and his eyes turn into a hazy red colour and his incisors are lengthened. Ken dons a black robe and jet-black pants which are tattered around the angles. He also dons a frayed grey scarf around his neck. Ken obviously doesn’t wear shoes in this form.
