Timeline
This RPG takes place starting on the Sixth Day of Kingdom Hearts II (just as Sora and company are waking up). 358/2 Days, re:coded, and Birth By Sleep will be covered in this RP; if you have not played them yet, you risk being spoiled.

Plot
For as long as time has existed, the Light and Darkness have been at war with each other. The Keyblade Masters, Heroes of the Light, and the Heartless, Heralds of the Darkness, have struggled for supremacy. Yet, those who stand in-between, the Nobodies, are pushed away from both sides, left to seek their own devices, despite their connections to those of both sides. Capable of higher thought and planning that the Heartless, and without the emotions and hearts that limit the powers of the Light-dwellers, the Nobodies seek to be complete again. At least, some of them do.

Organization XIII, a group of Nobodies who were capable of retaining their human forms, began with simple curiosity into the workings of the human heart. The first six members of this group came to a general consensus; to collect hearts to form an artificial version of Kingdom Hearts, the Heart of All Worlds. With this, they would gain the power necessary to return to their human states, at the cost of a great many hearts and the sacrifices of countless worlds and people. As time passed, they collected more members until they finally stopped at 13, each sharing the same goal, with exception to the Superior of the group, Xemnas, whose true goals are relatively unknown to others. Their policies rigid and their methods cold, they did whatever was necessary to try and obtain their goal. Lacking emotions, they felt no remorse for their actions.

However, that does not go to say that all of these human-form Nobodies feel the same way. Some felt some connection to emotion, brought on by recollections of their time with hearts. For this reason, several human-form Nobodies refused to join the Organization, accepting their non-existence as fact and refusing to wish return to their previous state, some even wishing the Organization harm to prevent the disruption of the world's order. The Organization has labeled these few non-members as 'Renegades', with orders to destroy any seen on sight.

Being few in number and distant in communication, the Renegades have gone about their own business. Some fight against them, and others remain neutral. Now, five members lay slain in Castle Oblivion, another has rejoined his Light half, another unreal, one is a traitor, and six members remain, working on completing their master plan. The clock is ticking. Forces are moving. Only time will tell.....

Signing Up
This RPG has room for seven Renegade Organization XIII Members, one for each missing or slain member (Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia, Larxene, Roxas, and Xion). Additional characters are accepted, as well as Renegades with Keyblades, but you will need to do an exceptional job with the Sign-Up. Canon characters will be NPC's controlled by everyone.

Regarding Connections to NPC’s from the Land of Departure: I will allow characters to have knowledge of our lost friends from the LoD, HOWEVER, the fate of the group members MAY NOT be known by any character until after a certain point in the RP (which I will announce).

In addition, the following worlds are not to be visited until after a certain point in the RP (or unless I give the RP’er permission to visit): Castle Oblivion, The World That Never Was, and The Keyblade Graveyard. All other worlds featured in a currently released Kingdom Hearts game may be visited, including those solely visited in BBS (with the exceptions of Deep Space and Neverland; because Stitch and Peter Pan are summons in KHII, we can presume that their worlds have been destroyed).

In addition, while reference may be made to Traverse Town, we will be operating with the idea that since it is made up of parts of other worlds, which have since been restored by Sora in KH, Traverse Town no longer exists.

------------------------------------------------------------------

For Renegades:

Name: All Org. XIII Members have an “x” in their name, and their names are anagrams of their names before they became Nobodies. Because your characters are Renegades, they may or may not go by the name the Organization gave them; it's your call.

Age Before Becoming Nobody: Straightforward. Can be any age, no less than 13, or older than 30. Use logic, and make your description match the age.

Gender: Don’t make me explain this any more than this; male or female, take your pick.

Element: Each Org. Member has one Element/Attribute which they can control in general. Since you are human-formed Nobodies, so does your character. While you are encouraged to be original and choose elements that have not already been used by a member of the Organization, this is no longer a requirement.

Title/Moniker: Example: Axel was “The Fury of Dancing Flames”, Luxord “The Gambler of Fate”, etc. Make sure it describes your character in a few words. This is OPTIONAL, since your character doesn’t belong to the Organization.

History: Describe the character’s life before they became Nobodies. Friends, what world (Note that it can be made up, but must be logical and must be like Twilight/Traverse town in terms of people/art style) they were on, etc. Be sure that you tell how they succumbed to the darkness and how they got on the wrong side of the Organization, and what they have been up to between their rebirth and the start of the RP. 2-3 paragraphs MINIMUM.

Personality: Important. What are they like as Nobodies? Just describe how they are. 1-2 paragraphs minimum.

Physical Description: What do they look like? Some may choose to wear the standard Organization Black Cloak, but you do have leeway with clothing and such if you do so wish. 1 paragraph minimum.

Weapon/Abilities: Give the name and a description of your character’s weapon. Your weapon does not have to have the Symbol of Nothingness on it, but it may. If Keyblade, be sure to name it. Also describe any abilities you character has, such as spells, etc.

Lesser Nobody: Despite not being members of the Organization, as a human-form Nobody, you control one type of Lesser Nobody of your own design, suited to your character’s fighting style. Please remember that they MUST have the Symbol of Nothingness on them somewhere (look at any lesser Nobody for an example). The color scheme should constrain to the scheme of existing Lesser Nobodies (purple/blue and white) and they at least need to be vaguely humanoid. These Nobodies cannot be controlled by the Organization as you are not a member, but Dusk and Creepers will listen to both sides. When in doubt, the Organization overrides Dusk and Creepers. 1 paragraph minimum.

Character Theme: You may choose any existing piece of music from Kingdom Hearts to act as a theme song for your character. Hikari (Simple and Clean), Passion (Sanctuary), Another Side, and Fate of the Unknown cannot be chosen. You may use a cannon character’s theme.

Battle Theme: When you enter battle with another character or NPC, this is the music that would play if this was a KH game (from your characters' perspective).

Character Journal Entry: A journal entry for your character, as though it is in Jiminy's Journal from the games (use comparable entries from KHII as templates if it helps). This needs to be as long as it needs to be. Please place this in italics.

Lesser Nobody Journal Entry: A journal entry for your character's Lesser Nobody, as though it is in Jiminy's Journal from the games (use comparable entries from KHII as templates if it helps). This needs to be as long as it needs to be. Please place this in italics.

Other Info: Anything you can add that will help me/other’s understand your character.

-------------------------------

For Other Characters:

Name: Obviously.

Age: Straightforward.

Gender: Don’t make me explain this any more than this; male or female, take your pick.

History: What world are they from? (Note that it can be made up, but must be logical and must be like Twilight/Traverse town in terms of people/art style) How are they involved in all of this? 2-3 paragraphs MINIMUM.

Personality: What are they like? 1-2 paragraphs minimum.

Physical Description: What do they look like? Describe. 1 paragraph minimum.

Weapon/Abilities: Give the name and a description of your character’s weapon. Your weapon does not have to have the Symbol of Nothingness on it, but it may. If Keyblade, be sure to name it. Also describe any abilities you character has, such as spells, etc.

Other Info: Anything you can add that will help me/other’s understand your character.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Please note that I reserve the right to change Journal Entries if they are not in the correct format. This was a problem last time. Thanks!

Once we have the required number of people, the RPG will begin. I accept reservations, but please include your chosen element (if Renegade). It makes things easier. You are allowed TWO characters (both may not be Renegades unless SU’s don’t take off), but you cannot sign up for a second character until your first is accepted.

Also please note that I am going to be somewhat harsher with SU critiquing this time around. I highly enjoy working on these RP’s, but having it die only a week due to lack of participation after it starts is very frustrating. I am looking for people who really want to be a part of the RP and who know the fandom; I really don’t want this RP to die this time. Thank you for understanding.

My SU:

Name: Rize (predates the Organization, name did not change)

Age Before Becoming Nobody: 26 (looks 15: 10 years BBS to KH, 1 yr from KH/re:COM to KHII)

Gender: Male

Element: Twilight

Title/Moniker: The Bane of Light and Shadow

History: Rize does not know where he was originally from, nor can he remember anything from before he turned ten years old; if asked, his earliest memory would be looking up into the curious face of Keyblade Master Eraqus, as Rize lay, bleeding and near death, in the courtyard outside the castle at the Land of Departure. For reasons known only to Master Eraqus, he took Rize in and trained him alongside his two existing pupils, Terra and Aqua (joined a year later by Ven), who all became close friends; despite the fact that he could not wield the Keyblade, Master Eraqus’s teachings in magic, as well as a gift of a matching pair of daggers (and training with them), made Rize into a warrior nearly on par with his three friends.

However, his injuries never fully faded away, leaving Rize sick and bedridden often. It was like this that Rize watched, from an upper balcony, his two elder friends Mark of Mastery examination. He also noticed the somewhat unusual behavior of Master Xehanort, becoming distrustful of him almost immediately. Afterwards, after comforting Terra, he was forced to watch as Ven, his closest friend, took off into the Lanes Between after Terra. Managing to catch Aqua before she departed, he made her promise, on top of Master Eraqus’s orders, to bring Ven home. She agreed, and before departing, gave him an item she’d meant to give to him the previous night, but hadn’t because his injuries had suddenly flared up; a purple-glass Wayfinder. He never saw his friends again.

Rize’s personality, however, would not allow him to sit still while his friends traveled across the worlds, possibly in danger; thus, when Vanitas (on Master Xehanort’s orders) appeared and offered to help Rize find his friends, it is not surprising he took the Unversed up on the offer. Giving him a Black Cloak (from Xehanort), he showed him how to open a portal to the Lanes Between using his magic alone. Master Eraqus felt the opening to the Lanes, but did not arrive in time to stop Rize stepping through.

Using his magic to propel himself through the Lanes Between, Rize began exploring worlds previously visited by his friends, not lingering when he discovered they had already passed through. He was eventually psychically contacted by Master Xehanort under the guise of leading him to his friends; he was led to a remote part of the Keyblade Graveyard, where Vanitas appeared and proceeded to attack him, making cryptic remarks about why he had been called. It was only when Vanitas seemingly lay unconscious that Master Xehanort appeared, binding Rize to the ground as Vanitas rose, and the pair explained the situation to him; Master Xehanort’s adventures into history and the Darkness had led him to information regarding “the non-existent ones”, beings supposedly created when the heart falls to Darkness, composed of the empty vessel left behind. It was Master Xehanort’s want to perform an experiment to try and create this creature, using Rize as a test subject; his strong connections to his friends led Xehanort to believe he would be able to produce such a creature. Trying to break Rize’s spirit by claiming his friends had never cared for him, Xehanort and Vanitas began infecting him with Darkness. Rize, though, never gave up hope that, if nothing else, Ven had always been his friend. It was with this thought in mind, that his friend would never give up on him, that he was dragged down into Darkness.

The events that transpired after his heart fell to Darkness are still somewhat unclear to Rize; most of what he can remember are screams. The next thing that he knew was waking up on the cold, lifeless sand of the Dark Meridian, clothed in a Black Cloak, his Wayfinder around his neck, his eyes red-orange, and his hair containing electric blue strands. After awakening, he traveled to the Mysterious Tower and learned from Master Yen Sid of the destruction of the Land of Departure and the disappearance of his friends; Master Yen Sid also helped him realize the extent of what Xehanort had done. Learning that he no longer possessed a heart and believing that he was now no more than a mindless, evil creature of Darkness, he tried to flee the Tower, but Master Yen Sid prevented him, informing him that the connection between Rize and his friends (represented by the Wayfinders) was a very strong bond, strong enough, in fact, that it was substituting for his lack of heart; his friends hearts were unconsciously responding to Rize’s plight by allowing him to continue feeling emotion. Relieved, and with an even greater reason to find them, Rize set out to locate his friends. He searched for them for weeks, but never found any clues; it was at this point he swore bloody revenge on Xehanort for what had transpired (he was unconscious for the events at the Keyblade Graveyard and for the events of the Final Episode, and cannot tell that the Land of Departure is now Castle Oblivion).

Nowadays, Rize is a traveler, seeking out information regarding his friends and Xehanort; after the creation of the Organization, Rize ceased wearing his Black Cloak day-to-day, finally settling down in Twilight Town, where his normal clothing was not too out of place to be noticed. Even after that, he continued to search the worlds, running into Xigbar once; Rize nearly succeeded in destroying him when the Freeshooter recognized Rize in Olympus Coliseum and tried to get a rise out of him by insulting his friends. Needless to say, the conversation did not go well. Despite this encounter, most of the Organization considers him to be a myth thought up by Xigbar to compensate for a failed mission that particular day. Rize has also met and has a good rapport with Axel, though Axel has not mentioned this to his superiors.

Rize currently resides in Twilight Town, working at the Moogle Synthesis Shop in exchange for the services of the Moogle’s extensive information network in locating his friends; he also does the odd errand for Master Yen Sid now and again. His injuries have not flared up since he became a Nobody. He also uses his powers to make people not notice the fact that he does not age.

Personality: Rize is a kind and jovial fellow to be around; while he has his bouts of anger like other people, he tries to solve disputes and be kind around people. However, that does not mean he does not have a darker side. When his emotions reach a fever pitch, the Darkness begins to affect him, causing a drastic shift in mood. He begins to act like most senior members of the Organization, with no pretense of a heart or emotion. Defeating Rize in combat is proven to be the most effective method of knocking sense into him.

He is somewhat competitive, entering the annual Struggle tournament in Twilight Town every couple of years under different identities; he hasn’t won, but he’s gotten close. He always tries his hardest and never gives up, especially with the knowledge that his friends are still out there somewhere. He is also sometimes hasty to make decisions, running into situations without fully thinking things through.
Rize’s connections to his friends are particularly strong, and so far, the connection through their Wayfinders has acted as a substitute for a heart; their hearts are subconsciously feeling emotion for Rize, and are projecting it to him through the link. His connection with his closest friend, Ven, is particularly strong; should Ven (or any of his friends, for that matter) be threatened in any way (by actions or words, even when he/they isn’t/aren’t nearby), Rize will fight to eliminate the threat with everything he has, calling upon the most destructive abilities in his arsenal (this is why Xigbar almost didn’t return from the Coliseum one day). If Rize ever enters this stage of battle, it is safe to say that there will be no stopping him until either he, or the threat, is eliminated.

Physical Description: Rize stands about five-eleven, although his shoes make him look about six-zero, and he is built a bit like Axel; he is skinny (not anorexic) and also has visible muscle, which, for some reason, people ignore, thinking because he is thin, he is weak, which has led him to victory in more than one battle.

He chooses for his clothing a black t-shirt, a silver and black, heavily pocketed, zippered jacket that is normally unzipped, and similarly colored baggy shorts. As for footwear, he wears thick-soled, ankle high, silver trimmed boots (ankle high Org. XIII boots). He also wears a black metal wristband around each wrist, and black, fingerless gloves with metal plates on the back on his hands. The wristbands are engraved in silver with several runes and the Mark of Mastery, gifts from Master Eraqus that he can store magic power in for later use. His purple-glass Wayfinder hangs from its cord around his neck, the actual charm covered by his shirt. He also has a Black Cloak if he needs to hide his identity.

His clothing is not the only unique thing about him. His hair is white, with several electric blue strands that appeared when he became a Nobody. It is rather spiky in the back, and almost covers his left eye in the front (Think Axels’ and Zexions’ hair combined, just a little shorter). His face is soft and kind, with a kind, usually smiling mouth, small nose, and somewhat big, yellow-orange eyes, which he normally hides behind dark sunglasses. His skin is somewhat tanned from his large amounts of time in the sun.

Anyone who knew Rize previously may very well be able to recognize him (as Xigbar did, and only from descriptions of him from Master Xehanort); the only aspects of his appearance that changed with his transformation into a Nobody were the length of his hair, the addition of the blue strands, and his eyes.

Weapon/Abilities: As far as weapons go, Rize normally relies on twin silver and black daggers, held in a reverse grip (a gift from Master Eraqus), and magic. He can, however, use Twilight to reshape his weapons into anything else save Keyblades. He also has many varied Twilight-based attacks.

He is also a skilled mage thanks to Master Eraqus’s teachings; he is proficient in all second-tier spells, as well as the basic tier spells Esuna, Vanish, and Mine Square, the third-tier Curaga, and the dark-spell Dark Firaga. His Moogle friends occasionally (and for a price, usually) help him learn new spells. His magic capacity leaves much to be desired, however; he can usually cast 3-4 spells in a row (or one Cura/Curaga or Vanish) before needing time to recharge or an Ether. He also uses the Twilight to make people ignore the fact that he does not age.

Because of Master Eraqus's teachings, he mainly uses his magic and unchanged daggers. He will resort to the Twilight in circumstances when his magic and daggers are not enough. Should he have to use his full powers, or should he become truly enraged, the Black Cloak will “automagically” appear on him.

Lesser Nobody: Blade Nobodies are short, stocky Nobodies equipped with bladed arms. Their primary forms of attack are the rapid extension and retraction of their bladed arms at opponents, as well as extension while spinning like tops towards opponents. This can be avoided and turned against them by jumping just before they reach you and using the Spin Driver Reaction Command, which uses their momentum against them to drive them into the ground, destroying them. Doing this requires very precise timing.

No one knows that Rize commands these Nobodies, but they are known to attack members of the Organization and other Lesser Nobodies at random (Rize seeds them on various worlds every so often). Most of these attacks occur in Twilight Town.

Character Theme: Tears of the Light

Battle Theme: Future Masters (fun/playful battle), Dark Impetus (semi-serious battle), Rage Awakened – the Origin (Org. XIII Cloak/full use of powers)

Character Journal Entry: ??? - Not much is known about this being, not even to the Organization. He has eluded any and all foes for many years, leading all but a few members to believe him a myth. There are even rumors that he predates the Organization.

Xigbar seems to have a connection to him, but what that connection entails is unknown.

Lesser Nobody Journal Entry: A Blade. A high-ranking Nobody. Their namesake bladed arms can extend and retract at great speed, and they can rotate at high velocities. If they are spinning towards you, jump and perform Spin Driver to destroy them before they slice and dice you.

These Lesser Nobodies are known to attack members of the Organization and other Lesser Nobodies at random. It is not known who controls them.

Charizard_Man: Reservation DENIED. One of the rules regarding the Renegades is that they may NOT control the same elements as members of the Organization. Just keep this in mind, choose a new element, let me know, and I'll grant you a reservation.

Roxas,Scrafty Master
HOW IS THIS:
NAME: Raxuzedy ( During Org.) ; Dezuray (Pre Org.); A.K.A The Reach

AGE: 19 ( Pre Org.); 23 ( current)

GENDER: Male

ELEMENT: Mind ( control, read, speaking, telepathy, linking thoughts, etc.)

TITLE: The Astral Annihilator

HISTORY: Dezuray was a gifted young swordsman even at a very young age. The words he remembers the most from his dear master Eraqus was that he had "potential". He always believed that, until his world disappeared before his very eyes. He lived in Traverse Town after the Land of Departure was destroyed by Master Xehanort. He was young; very young and learned to survive on his own. Then he found out, after living in traverse town for four years, that he was never meant to wield a real keyblade in the first place.

Enraged and bewildered, he opened up a portal to darkness on his own ( or from an outside force perhaps), and ended up in a world that was cold, empty... and dark. On the verge of losing both sanity and his life he called to the darkness. " Do you want to live?" it replied. A slow nod from the exasperated Dezuray and the shadows came closer. " Do you want to embrace the darkness?" it asked. The shadows inched closer, and Dezuray was hesitant, the voice of Eraqus in his mind that darkness was not his friend... or never would be. Yet he remembered those words, that he had potential, that gave him his false hopes and dreams to fight alongside keyblade warriors. He shivered and his eyes glowed a shade of yellow.

Dezuray found himself an Organization member under the name of Raxuzedy. His power grew quicker than any of the members believed and he was deemed dangerous. His ability to know the organization's ides and thoughts were quite scary to the members. He was also very, very powerful. He learned to cast magic expertly, even achieving powerful final tier spells without a measly incantation. He was able to distort other's thoughts, and when he learned he would be exterminated, he vanished. To this day he wanders worlds searching for nobodies and heartless to kill, hoping to get his revenge on the lies his mind remembers only by memory. He was known to be emotionless and called the "Reach" for his frightening ability to "reach" someone he was looking for.

PERSONALITY: Raxuzedy is a very secretive and melancholy nobody. Its very rare to catch sight of him, let alone see him. However those that do know that their luck has run dry. Raxuzedy has a tendency to be intimidating and frightful, especially in battle. He refuses to show any form of mercy, however there are rare occurrences where he has shown some. He isn't hesitant to speak his mind, or project it, and often expresses his thoughts to others. He is very straightforward, and doesn't get around people's ideas; he faces them head on. He is known to have a soft spot for scenery, stopping in towns or cities to watch the vast worlds. He may even stop a battle to enjoy a rare occurrence, only to return to battle just as fiercely.

PHYS. DESCRIPT: Raxuzedy is approximately five feet and ten inches tall, not a very staggering height but still intimidating to others. This is because Raxuzedy is well built, not very bulky but physically capable. His hair is incredibly spiky, the longer spikes on the middle of his hair and a monotonous shade of coal black. He is best known by his scarlet scar running from his left forehead to his right cheek, a result of a battle with a huge nobody he eventually defeated ( and is the only wound that nobody could land on him). He wears a jacket that has a large, rounded collar that covers his lower face when zipped, and is very dark in color. It has various pockets he seldom uses. His pants are baggy and he wears boots with no laces, with the tongues flipped outwards. He carries a large sheathe that he carries strapped around his left shoulder, bearing the nobody sigil fractured on the middle of the strap. His eyes are a golden yellow.

WEAPON/ABILITIES: Raxuzedy wields a large sword that resembles a form of a keyblade. The keychain is a simple skull with a nobody sigil engraved on the forehead. The hilt is curved on one side, the other half shattered ( by unknown means) and is wielded by both hands. The blade has a blunt side and a side that is extremely sharp and is perfectly crafted and maintained. Along the blade are symbols of nobodies and heartless, prizes for defeating such strong opponents. The blade is a coal black with blue symbols engraved. It was said to be indestructible.

He can cast the highest forms of magic easily without murmuring words. He is known to be able to battle for drawn out times without using items. He can read other's minds and speak telepathically, also linking thoughts with others. His greatest powers lie when in battle under dire circumstances, where he is known to telepathically use his sword and cast magic in chains or distort the world through his enemy's thoughts. He is know to be able to vanish and reappear.

LESSER NOBODY: Phantom nobodies are thin, tall monstrosities that appear to steal the thoughts of others. They cast low level magic and wield stout blades they seldom use, however they are a force in battle. They can teleport but are defeated when their opponent can break the link it has on their minds. It leaves them stunned and vulnerable.

CHARACTER THEME: Roxas's theme.

BATTLE THEME: Tension Rising, Vector To The Heavens, Master Tell Me The Truth

CHARACTER/NOBODY JOURNAL: Raxuzedy- The most dangerous foe to the existence of nobodies, heartless and even keyblade bearers. He is known as the Reach, casually appearing to slay those who cause him suffering. It is futile to run from this former Organization member.

Phantom- A seldom seen nobody wielding stout swords and various spells. It appears to steal thoughts for its own but will fail against strong sub-consciences. It is even said Raxuzedy despises them.

OTHER: It is said Raxuzedy hunts Omegas Ultimas, the strongest keyblade under the X-Blade and hopes to become a keyblade warrior...

Hey. I'd like to reserve Metal, if it can qualify as an element/attribute/whatever.

Also, side-note-warning: While I haven't actually played a Kingdom Hearts game, I've seen online playthroughs of KH and KHII (currently watching a Birth by Sleep playthrough), and have spoiled myself beyond imagination during my travels amongst the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. I should have a decent idea what I'm talking about during posts, but any corrections from people who've actually played the games will be appreciated.

Could I reserve a Renegade with the attribute of Sound? (sound waves, ect.) I should be able to have my temp up at the latest Wednesday.

/really want to be in a KH rp, but every one I try ends with some kind of conflict amongst members.

Edit: Sorry, I'll have my temp up soon. The personality is kinda throwing me off. I've got everything else done on it.

Hmm, can I reserve a Renegade with the attribute of Spirit (ghost)? You know, sort of like an I see dead people/can phase through walls type? It's been forever since I've been in a KH RPG (possibly because I know next to nothing about BBS... sigh.)

roxas13: DENIED. Keyblade wielders require the best signups, and yours has several major problem areas.

  • Keyblade wielders are expected to go above and beyond my length requirements for History, Personality, and Physical Description. Yours just meet the requirements. They are also not terribly descriptive.
  • You are seriously godmodding/somewhat Gary Stu'ing your character. Your character is not all powerful, awesome, etc. Tone him down (you may also want to use The Universial Mary Sue Litmus Test after changing your character; the link to it is at the bottom first post of the main RPG rules topic)
I cannot accept your character as it is now. Expand upon and tone your character down and we'll talk again.

Morpher01: RESERVED. Metal is a perfectly acceptable element (it's been used in the past). Your SU is due by July 8th unless you request more time. And don't worry, I'm sure everyone here will be happy to help with any corrections that may be needed.

Fire_Paw: RESERVED. SU by July 8th as well, if at all possible.

Shadowfaith: Hi back! Normally, Illusion would be against my "No repeat element" rule, but I've thought about it and have decided to nix it, so RESERVED. SU by July 8th as well, if at all possible.

Musical Mayhem: Another familiar face! Spirit Renegade is RESERVED. SU by July 8th as well, if at all possible. And remember, KH Wiki is your friend!

lxdarknessxl: I really wish you could join, but perhaps next time! Just FYI, but I may allow Non-renegades to LSU, if you find the time to join us later.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT CHANGE: As stated above, I have abolished the "No Repeat Element" rule for Renegades. The SU Template now reads
"Each Org. Member has one Element/Attribute which they can control in general. Since you are human-formed Nobodies, so does your character. While you are encouraged to be original and choose elements that have not already been used by a member of the Organization, this is no longer a requirement."

Everyone note that anyone with a reservation up to this point has until FRIDAY, JULY 8th at 11:59 PM to get their SU in. PM me before then if you need more time. Since all spots for Renegades are now reserved, we can get started once some SU's come in. Anyone who wants to play as an Other Character, please submit your SU soon!

Here's what I got so far. I'll edit it as I get more done.

Name: Camex (Formerly Acme)

Age Before Becoming Nobody: 21

Gender: Male.

Element: Poison.

Title/Moniker: Example: The Poison Axe.

Name: Tarex (Goes by Org name, but his name before was Reta)

Age Before Becoming Nobody: 19

Gender: Male

Element: Sound

Title/Moniker: Resonance Extraordinaire

History: Tarex, before he had became a Nobody, was born in Twilight Town where he grew up for most of his life. Within his first few years of life Reta found himself deeply fascinated by by Struggle tournaments held annually. Before long he was old enough to sign up himself, which is precisely what he insisted on doing. His parents weren’t as fond of the tournament as he was, however, and they worried constantly about his well-being. This didn’t stop Reta from living on in his reckless and overly adventurous lifestyle. No one was hurt except himself throughout his stunts, and so his parents saw no way to intervene with legitement reasoning. That is, no one was hurt until Reta became overconfident from his multiple wins during Struggle tournaments. His overconfidence made him well-known for being a jerk, but things still weren’t as severe as they would become. At the time Reta was a little over seventeen. Things began to change, however, when Reta lost in a Struggle tournament. The tournament would have been his fifth win, which according to several others was rare. Pride had turned from a good thing, to a very negative aspect in his life. Reta wouldn’t stand for his loss, and so he condemned himself for power, and more over, for his boisterous pride.

Not long, no more than perhaps a year, after his loss a man that never revealed his identity confronted Reta, bringing with him a promise unmatched by any possible idea.

The promise that if he succumbed…If he allowed his heart to fall to the darkness he would achieve the greatest power imaginable to him. At that same time, the mystery man gifted Reta with a macremae necklace that had a dark rock attached at the end. Reta accepted the sacrifice of his already dwindling light being cast aside entirely, and he learned to embrace the darkness until his entire being became darkness, leaving behind and empty shell. His empty shell would become Tarex, but before that, Reta’s would have to be approached by Organization XIII. This didn’t take long, in fact, and rather Reta was approached within weeks of his empty shell becoming a Nobody. When he was approached he was given a name which would have been used had he chosen to take the offer of membership: Tarex. Tarex was the name he decided to go by, as he was ‘ashamed’ by what he had done as a human, and he had no wish to return to that nightmarish life that seemed to have been forever ago.

Though Tarex wished to remain neutral in views of the Organization XIII and his own goals, it was quickly determined that any hope of remaining neutral would be illogical, and potentially dangerous for Tarex, as he had too much of a habit to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Two encounters, Tarex had inconveniently, with members of Organization XIII. The first time he was alarmed, as he had left the scene in which he had turned down the offer of membership. Up until the first attack issued against him by the Organization, Tarex had had no idea of their desire of retaliation against him. By the second time Tarex was ready to defend, and yet still, due to his severe lacking of defensive strategy he was forced to retreat to whichever world the dark portals brought him to next. Finally, knowing he would be unable to properly subsist with the Organization keeping at his heels, Tarex devised the idea that he would have to be the attacking force. Tarex would have to be the one seeking out the trouble that would undoubtedly find him otherwise. Tarex had decided he was going to take matters into his own hands rather than him be the mouse, while the Organization remained on the pedestal as the cat. The game was over.

Over time Tarex had landed two successful attacks on Organization XIII, merely managing to disrupt a mission severely, but though it was a small victory, it was a victory nonetheless. Tarex was making small steps toward stopping Organization XIII, and furthermore, he was taking small steps toward an existence where he would be able to subsist without the idea that he would be targeted due to some misconception of his turning down of a “one in a lifetime” offer. It’s been months since his last attack.

For the past month Tarex has been living in Traverse Town, finding it easier to blend in and stay out of the Organization's radar.

Personality: Tarex is quiet, preferring to stay in the shadows in great contrast to his Somebody counterpart. When conversation is brought to him, however, he will speak 'sincerely' and truthfully, so long as he does not expect trickery to be involved. If he does believe the trickery is being played upon him, he will respond curtly, leaving the scene with few words, as he does not enjoy conflict, and will only begin a conflict if he sees it as a neccessity, as he sees interfereing in the Organization's plans as a neccessity of his own. Tarex spends several conversations cracking jokes which he is good at, and often times he will leave a scene in which he had interefered with with a witty response.

Physical Description: The most noticeable aspect about Tarex is his long, icy-green hair that comes down in a single pony tail. To match his hair Tarex has silvery eyes with nearly unnoticeable flecks of pale green in the mix. A single strand of his hair hangs to the side of his face. The color of his eyes and hair is only enhanced by his naturally dark palor, appearing as though he spent his entire life in the sun. With sharp features Tarex is also quite lean, not having much muscle at all. With a short nose and slight lips Tarex is also tall, standing at about six feet.

Rather than wear the black cloak associated with Organization XIII, Tarex tends to wear a similiar trench coat that sweeps down to that it almost drags on the ground beneath him. He buttons the coat, stopping approximately where the Organization's cloak stops. Beneath the trench coat Tarex wears a simple, black cut off shirt and pants like what the Organization wears. He also wears black boots. Finally, Tarex wears the necklace that he was given by the mystery man.

Weapon/Abilities: Tarex uses a Long bow that is solid black, all except the tips that the string attatches to which is a greyish color in comparison. The bow itself does not have the symbol of nothingness on it, however, each arrow has it.

-Sound Changing(will come up with name later): Manipulating the sound waves Tarex can change his own voice's sound, so long as he has heard the voice before, so that it matches another's voice. He can also, through this, imitate most sounds that he has heard.

-Sonic Blast: When shooting off an arrow Tarex can, at the same time, create a blast of sound that can be used one of two ways. One, it can create a deafening sound (temporary). Two, it can create a blast that will travel with the arrow and not go off until it hits a target. However, with the latter, Tarex must make adjustments to compensate for the unstability in the arrow's flight, and this leaves him open for attack for the few seconds it takes for him to situate his aim.

Lesser Nobody: Resonance- This nobody is built with two legs which are dark gray, and a total of four arms, the upper two being black while the other two are white. The actual body of the Resonance is made of two parts, the part that the arms connect to, and the part that the legs connect to. Both portions are as dark as midnight, however, they are not attached, technically. If one looks closely one can see that what holds the lesser Nobody together are sound waves. Furthermore, soundwaves also hold the head of the Nobody together. The head appears to have a helmet, similiar to that of what is seen by a knight.

When a Resonance attacks it will shoot out sound waves which are attracted by sound waves in turn. If a target is otherwise silent, the sound waves will be incapable of pursuit, however, if a target is loud, the sound waves will be able to track. When the Resonance Nobody moves it is graceful, which several find surprising as it would not seem, being connected by sound waves, that the foe would have such capabilities.

Character Theme: Riku's Theme

Battle Theme: Turning Point (Serious battles) And This(Easy-going-Medium Battles)

Character Journal Entry: Tarex is a Nobody that seemingly little is known regarding his past life. It is known, however, that as a residing Nobody Tarex makes a habit of causing trouble for Organization XIII, so it can be presumed that he is either a past member of whom left, or a Nobody who has issues regarding the Organization's ways. Neither has been confirmed yet.

He may be identified by his nearly identical apparel to the Organization's, and his quick-to-respond lines before retreat.

Lesser Nobody Journal Entry: This sound-wave-connected Nobody can prove to be a hindering foe to those who target it and are not of a more quiet nature. Be wary of this Nobody's tracking sound waves.

All right, I think I've got this worked out. I'm a little concerned about the history and physical description, but that's about it.

Name: Nadrex, formerly Andre Sandworth

Age Before Becoming Nobody: 20

Gender: Male

Element: Metal

Title/Moniker: The Iron-Willed Striker

History: Nadrex was born under the name Andre Sandworth, living in the town of Port Royal with his middle-class parents. Despite being barely above the poverty line, the Sandworths were recognized by even the elite of Port Royal due to their well-meaning behaviors and polite mannerisms. To keep up their reputation, the Sandworth parents made every effort to teach their only son, Andre, to act as a member of high society would.

Andre learned of numerous facets in high-class living, despite the comparitively low status of his family. He mingled with the rich and spoke with the famous, but never truly displayed any joy with such achievements. Eventually, on his eighteenth birthday, Andre and his parents attended a party hosted by Governor Swann himself. While his parents associated themselves with the other guests, Andre was nowhere to be seen.

He reappeared soon, however, just as his parents were leaving the party. When they asked where he had been, he told them that he was "trying something new". He then removed from his pocket an earring he had, on a whim, pilfered from one of the party's guests. Despite the horror plastered across his parents' faces, Andre remained calm and simply stated that the life of the elite was not meant for him. Instead, he would do as he wished on the sea...as a pirate. He never heard from or spoke to his parents again following this.

One year later, Andre was seen stealing a ship from Port Royal's harbor, claiming it his "twentieth birthday present". As he sailed through the unknown, however, he discovered a stowaway in the ship's hold: a small black creature with two yellow eyes and jagged antennae. Blissfully unaware of the creature's malevolent nature, Andre attempted to domesticate the small monster. Unfortunately, this encounter ended poorly for Andre, as the creature pounced on him and rendered him unconscious in a matter of seconds.

When Andre awoke, he was immediately exposed to two things: a feeling of emptiness, and the sight of a stranger in a black cloak. The stranger lowered his hood, revealing a man who introduced himself as "Xemnas". Xemnas explained that the creature was called a Heartless, and that it had somehow consumed Andre's heart, rendering him into an unfeeling shell called a Nobody. The young pirate asked how Xemnas knew this, to which the latter replied that he was a Nobody as well.

Highly uncomfortable with the feeling of emptiness, Andre jumped at the chance when Xemnas offered him an opportunity to retrieve his heart. Upon introducing himself, Andre was told by Xemnas that, as a member of Xemnas' Organization XIII he would be referred to by the name "Nadrex". The newly-named Nadrex saw very little reason in the rearranging of his name, but his questions went unanswered as Xemnas gave him a black cloak that signified his being a member of the Organization.

Nadrex accepted the cloak, and as he continued to speak with Xemnas, learned of other worlds and of Kingdom Hearts. He also learned of Organization XIII's goals, and how they were to be accomplished. Xemnas assured Nadrex that, as long as he was obedient, he would have his heart returned.

This was where Nadrex began to have reservations regarding his membership in Organization XIII. As a pirate, he had expected pure independance from orders and constraints. Despite his earlier promises, Xemnas was now intending to take away Nadrex's former life. Unable to accept such a fact, Nadrex quickly and literally kicked Xemnas off his ship, the latter Nobody disappearing into the unknown.

With Xemnas gone, but obviously not dead, Nadrex knew that he would be marked for death. But this knowledge only made him smile. With a gang of more misshapen Nobodies serving as his crew, Nadrex set sail for an alternate way of restoring feeling to himself, all the while singing "A Pirate's Life for Me".

Personality: Nadrex's title of "The Iron-Willed Striker" comes primarily from his enormous need for independance. He lets no one, not even someone as powerful as Xemnas or Maleficent, give him an order and expect a competent result. Nadrex can, however, give orders, knowing that it is the way of the captain to do so.

Nadrex's other most dominant trait, aside from the occasional need for a wise-crack, is his pathological need to plunder everything in sight. While this is easily interpreted as greed, in reality it is an attempt to fill the void in Nadrex's being using material possessions. He takes everything he can get his hands on: gold, silver, an article of clothing from a captive or two, and everything else that happens to be in the general vicinity.

Despite his being such a seemingly greedy pirate, Nadrex does have a sense of right and wrong. Though he would rather die than admit it, Nadrex's primary reason for denying Xemnas' offer of membership was the lingering possibility of someone he liked getting hurt. In addition, Nadrex only gives orders to his personal Nobodies, feeling that it is wrong to force someone to do something if they have a choice. These redeeming qualities only come to the forefront when Nadrex feels that it is convenient to do so.

Physical Description: Nadrex stands at just over five feet tall, the average height for a resident of Port Royal. His skin has been slightly tanned, having spent as much time in the sunlight as he has in the moonlight. His black hair stretches down to his neck and spikes at the sides as it descends, the latter being a trait that appeared upon Nadrex's becoming a Nobody. Underneath black bangs rest a pair of pale brown eyes, eyes that constantly yearn for more.

Nadrex adorns himself in various stolen objects that he has collected in the year that he spent as roaming the seas as a Nobody pirate, be it true treasure or simple junk. He wears an unbuttoned navy captain's coat (with removed shoulder decor) over a faded white shirt, matched with loose black pants leading down to equally black boots. On his right ear, Nedrax wears the golden earring he took from a guest at Governor Swann's party. He also wears a silver necklace around his neck, and on each hip is one of his Flintswords.

Weapon/Abilities: Nadrex uses the Flintswords, a pair of silver scimitars with curved handles. The Flintswords are identical except in the color of their handles: one is purple, the other blue. Nadrex has a name for each sword, calling the purple one "Cut-lass" and the blue one "Cut-lad".

Nadrex has very limited access to his personal element, and as a result rarely makes use of it. Nonetheless, he can utilize several minor abilities:

Metalrang: Nadrex swings one or both Flintswords in an arc, sending out at least one boomerang-shaped blade of metal at his opposition.

Steel Storm: Nadrex leaps around his target, performing a series of hit-and-run strikes with his swords and finishing with an X-strike.

Lesser Nobody: Nadrex's personal Nobody is called the Privateer. It appears to be a hunched, purple-colored humanoid with long, praying mantis-like arms. These arms end in cutlass-like blades, each with a skull-and-crossbones printed on the side. In contrast, a rather large Symbol of Nothingness is printed on the Privateer's back. The Privateer's head is shaped like that of a pirate who wears a tri-corner hat, with one protrusion in the upper front and two emerging from the back corners.

Privateers move quickly, usually attempting to strike others with their blades, but can be easily countered if their opponent is quick enough. They are more often than not found in a group, however, and can become a nuisance if allowed to remain on the battlefield for extended periods of time. To make matters worse, Nadrex enjoys attacking alongside his Nobody crewmates, making the task of eliminating the Privateers slightly more difficult.

Character Theme: He's a Pirate

Battle Theme: Vim and Vigor

Character Journal Entry: Nadrex--A pirate Nobody who sails the seas of Port Royal with a crew of Privateer minions. He uses twin swords and has power over metal.

Instead of joining Organization XIII, Nadrex decided to search the seas for a different way to regain his heart. He steals a lot of objects, apparently thinking that they might restore his feelings.

So far, Nadrex has kept to himself, either not aware of or not caring about whatever the Organization has planned.

Lesser Nobody Journal Entry: A Privateer. A Nobody found only in Port Royal. Their mantis-like arms can dish out fast attacks. Try and counter them as quickly as you can.

These Nobodies work exclusively for Nadrex, and attack anything that opposes him.

Other Info: Nadrex keeps his black cloak in his cabin, hanging it up on the back wall as a sort of tribute to Xemnas.

Wow I completely overlooked that aspect. I'm a manga artist in the making so when I make characters I usually try to make them as incredible for the fans. I forgot this isn't the same. I'll have another one done as soon as possible with the same character name and element. Sorry about that.
