Kirby. Come on... save that wimpy failure he is in the Anime, he's one of the best Nintendo characters. Few things are cooler than a pink blob that can swallow things and take their abilitys. :D

Kirby is the obvious choice here unless you never ever played Kirby (or unless you think Kirby is for kiddies... but then, you would be a hypocrite to vote for Pikachu since Pokemon isn't exactely aimed at adults either). Face it: Pikachu is cute but isn't really the most awesome or deepest character in Pokemon and is no match for the pink, ability-stealing wonder.

Yes, the Kirby anime is a disgrace to the games (Star Warriors? Nightmare unstead of 02 being the ultimate villain? No Dark Matters? Bugsy (the beetle mini-boss) using weapons? Kirby being a baby who can only say "Poyo"? WTF?)... but if you ignore it, Kirby is probably one of the best Nintendo characters.

(Just a random note... I always found it weird how 02 is among the bloodiest if not the only bloody official Nintendo character (if in doubt, see official artworks of 02 or just watch 02's death scene in Kirby Dreamland 3, on the SNES)... and ends up being a pink sphere's arch-nemesis)

Not to mention that the anime is what led to the makers overhyping Kirby's Adventure at the moment. Come on, whatever happened to the Dreamland series? Metaknight's okay, but bring on Dark Matter and Kirby's animal partners, dammit.

There's more to a character than their fighting ability. Pikachu has a better personality, but Kirby is cooler, so Kirby gets my vote.

As cute as they both are, i adore Pikachu ;) and Kirby does not always beat Pikachu, i play melee like all the time and my friend and 2 sisters are always Kirby and they've never beaten or my brother
