Kirlia and Gardevoir can be male 0_o

Kirlia especially looks like a girl with the bellet tutu and the pony tails. I think that a 4th gen boy version of Kirlia (Kirlio) and Gardevoir should be made for Ralts to evolve into.
I just find my boy Kirlia wierd is all.

Mr. Mime can be female... o_O

I know. That's becuse the original Japanese name for Mr. Mime wasn't male specific.

I like male Ralts, because then you can nickname it Ralph. Or I might be the only one who does so, because I'm a fan of The Lord of the Flies...

Same with female alakazam, especially with the moustache. [SPOIL]Maybe they're based on man that look like woman (Harley?) and vice-aresa[/SPOIL]

ZOMG Kirlia and Gardevoir are cross-dressers!

Pikadon92, some females have mustashes, oddly enough.

Meh, there is one answer and one answer only: the Poke universe is strange.

Sure Mr. Mime females is weird but Kirlia and Gardevoir aren't really that feminine. I don't have a problem with them being male at all.

Pokemon are strange- but why should they have to look like our idea of male/female? Does it really matter if male Gardevoir looks like a girl?

I also thought about this... they are too femine to be male... and Mr. Mime... yeah right Female Mr. Mime o_O I sometimes think also that Mew should have a gender... and how about Entei, Raikou and Suicune... :S Makes no sense

So...because cats are feminine they can't be male? And because dogs look masculine they can't be female? And peacocks must be female because of their colourful feathers? The gender of a species does not always go by whether they look masculine or feminine, despite the differences in male and female humans.

yeah this is weird... but when you think about it, Ralts looks like a male (to me). But when it evolves, it does look 100% female.

However, Goldeen and Seakings are strange too. You have this fish that looks female, and then it evolves into a seaKING. So if you have a female goldeen, it would be a female seaKING. :(

I have a male Kirlia. I don't care and I'll keep it because I most likely won't get another one!

Does it matter? Gardevoir and family are in the Indeterminate Breeding Group, that means they can't determine what it is. Mr. Mime's name was Barrier'd which is not Gender Specific. All Goldfish look pretty much the same. Does it matter if one has femininely shaped eyes?

Besides, if Gardy was a female only in the games, it would lose it's wonderful egg moves. The Pokemakers probably made it that way for a legitimate reason.

I wish peoplewould just get over this. Sure, they look lke feminine humans. But there's one fact that people are overlooking, they're not human. *gasp*. Yes, it's true, the Ralts line are all pokemon. They resemble humans but aren't. People don't go on and on about that do they? But they resemble female humans and can be male, when they're not even humans. Now, that's a big deal.

Also because Pokemon didn't have genders in the first generation, when Mr. Mime was named.

At the very least, they should have made the gender ratio for the Ralts line favor females (like they did with other "girlish"-looking Pokemon).

While we're at it, why wasn't the Ralts line in the Humanshape egg group, when they're more human-shaped than some of the stuff that IS?
