Heii everyone! I did some revamps hope you like them!!!! Here they are:

These need some work.

First of all, when Re-Vamping, you cannot just recolor the inside of the Pokemon and stop. You also need to realistically outline it properly to match the Advanced Games Sprites. And please, NEVER outline completely in black. Just never do it D:
You've also left some pixels un-touched which is always a big no no. Some of them are also not even recolored properly, leaving big chunks of old colors from the old Sprites on them.

My advice is to go to the tutorial and get some help before you continue with your spriting career.

perfect, just what i was gonna say. But you gorgot something.
Always and never use the same shades as the old sprite. Make new ones so it looks like it could be from R/S/E.

It is kind of lacking, but give her a break, no need to tell her to stop trying unless she reads the tutorial...I dunno not a very nice thing to say.

If its your first time, theyre acceptable, but you need to workm more on them, and be more consious as how the RSE sprites look. But its a promising start if youre willing to work harder

No offense but, it doesn't look like you did much with that Espeon. And the Bellosom didn't seem like all that much, either.

Well, god just don't say he/she sucks and give he/she no advice.

Well, first of all try not to just recolor it, try to add custom shades in certain places (especaially when they'res heavy dithering), and always change the outlines, don't leave them the same.

Example:

Custom shading on some parts and very new outline.

ok basically like what everyone said you just recoloured the sprites from the old versions...

really you need to do is this... you have to cross the old shadings and then make your own shadings... dont really use checkered way... dont use old colours use the new and improved colours..

Why not? That's like saying someone should work on mixing when the person doesn't know what they're doing.

~Kitty~: Your new sprites are of the same quality of your old ones. You need to add shading to the outlines and body. Also, don't save a a jpg. Look at Sasuke's post. Compare the old one with the revamped version. The outlines are different, and shading is added/changed.

Well U basicly recolored the old sprites, trust me, don't do that, ever. I'd really suggest our tutorials on this forum, i'm working on Devamps, which IMO is abit harder. You need to add custom shading, and make the shading look like they r from that generation. use the colors from the newest generation. Dont leave the outline all black, ask Chaos Emerald 4 some advise, i wouldnt recomend the tutorial ♥~Lovely Kirlia* gave u.I tried it and my devamps didnt turn out good, but its good 4 other stuff, just not 4 revamping, and devamping. I know u can do better.

No, you didn't. It clearly states to reshade the body and outlines. As I've already said, please read the tutorials correctly before you start on it again. There's one on the forums in Sprite Tutorials as well. Read and learn.

You got the right idea, only you just recolored them. You want to change the shading so they are 3-D like 3rd Generation sprites (R/S/E/Fr/Lg). Chikorita is better, you want to change the outline though. This is what mine looks like:

The mixes came out decent, i cant really give out cc on that.But if u had listened, Revamps are not just recoloring, u have to make it look like it's from the newest generation.u have to redo the shading. The http://i1.*******.com/oko1gh.png looked better.Maybe revamping isnt 4 you? The mixes you did, IMO looked abit better, correct me if i'm wrong.Never ever save as JPG 4 sprites, always PNG
