Well, here's my story ^^! I worked hard on it, so for the first post I will include a summary, a prolouge, and the first chapter to it ^^! Not only that, but there will be a pronuncation guide for names!

Translation:
Kon Kasana=Spirit Kasana

Pronunciation:
Darien=DAR-eein
Roku=ROE-koo
Naoki=Now-KEE
Takusho=Tuh-KOO-show
Maji=MAW-ji
Yuka=YOO-kuh
Kiki=KEE-kee
Hiroshima=Hir-OE-shi-muh
Horin=HOR-in
Nakamura=NAK-kuh-mir-uh
Kasana=KAH-suh-nuh

Here's the summary:

Darien Naoki has moved to Japan to furthen his martial arts studies. Though, he's having a difficult time adjusting to Japan, especially making friends. In fact, the only friend he has currently is Roku Kazuki, a strong-willed boy with a confident nature. Not only is life hard, but he has to deal with Maji Takusho, his bully, Kiki Hiroshima, the girl who has a crush on him, and Yuka Naoki, is abusive half sister. To top it all off, he has been dragged into a huge mess by a spirit named Kasana, who is only half and a run away from the Spirit Union. Now the whole Spirit Union is after Darien and Kasana. But why?

--------------------------
Here's the prolouge:

Man, why do I have to move to Japan? Martial Arts class was fine in Maine. Well, at least I get to live with my mom, and Yuka. I wonder what they're like. I haven't really gotten a chance to meet them. I was only a baby when they both left. I hope I'll like it there in Japan. But I highly doubt I'll make any friends, or anything interesting will happen. Man, this really sucks.

Chapter One

“Hey, come on!” called a voice, “No dying on me now, man! Come on!”
Darien could feel himself being shook on the cold, wooden floor. He slowly opened his eyes, and all he saw was the blur of his friend’s face. In the background were tons of people watching and whispering among themselves. Some laughing, some worried. Darien couldn’t really figure out what was going on at the moment.
“What? What happened, Roku?” he said, quietly.
“Oh man! I thought you had died, or something!” Roku said, excited.
“What happened?” asked Darien once more.
“Oh, you just fainted. Jeez, Takusho knocked you out cold!” Roku said.
“What?! Not Maji!” Darien was flushed with embarrassment. Maji Takusho was his bully, not only that... Maji was a girl. To Darien, that’s dreadful. It made him feel weak, though his mother kept explaining countless times how it’s not worse than a boy. Darien wouldn’t ever listen of course. He thought it was just the most embarrassing thing ever.
Though, he did think she was beautiful. Everyone does. She had long black hair, which was always down, even when she fought. She had deep brown eyes, and was always frowning. She
never spoke too much, but she could sure fight. She was the top kid at Darien’s dojo.
Darien rubbed his eyes and looked around him, no sign of Maji. Just everyone looking at him. Most were laughing, except for two girls. One who was Yuka Naoki, and another being Kiki Hiroshima.
Yuka was Darien’s half sister. They don’t share the same father. So they don’t feel too close. Usually they fought. Yuka is a tough, uncaring girl. She wasn’t laughing, because she didn’t find it funny. Though, she didn’t care too much about Darien.
Kiki loved Darien. She though he loved her back. She always says that he’s her boyfriend, and all of that. She once tried to kiss him, but he pushed her away quickly. He didn’t consider her pretty one bit. She had short, black hair and oddly colored, blue eyes. She was tall, and skinny. And she didn’t really care for anyone but Darien. She was practically to tears at the sight of Darien on the ground.
Darien arose, and tightened his belt, by pulling each end. He looked down, and then up to his sensei.
“Sensei, I-” started Darien.
“Don’t say anything else, Naoki. I saw what happened. And I think Takusho did the right thing. She did quite well, in fact,” said Sensei Horin.
Darien looked down.
I-I wasn’t expecting that... I thought he would be on my side. But I was wrong, he’s Maji’s side. That’s sad.
After the class was dismissed, Roku called Darien over to the back alley. The back alley was behind Nakamaru Dojo, and was certainly not where Darien liked to hang out. It was gritty and smelly. All it was, was dumpsters and rats with dreadful diseases. Roku seemed to think no one would find them there; he was correct. No one ever thought of looking back there. Darien turned and looked at Roku, who had a smirk on his face.
“Why the hell did you let Takusho beat you up again?!” he yelled, “Not only that, but you were told off by Sensei!”
“I didn’t let her pulverize me! She just got a good kick in!” argued Darien.
“Yeah, right in the-” Roku paused, “You know the rest. Anyway, she’s a girl! That’s totally not right!”
“I don’t give a damn!” snorted Darien.
“You should! It might not be like this in America, but here in Japan, we don’t tolerate that
crap!” scowled Roku.
Darien stared at him.
America’s no different. Yeah, I don’t like it when girls beat me up, but it’s different because it’s Japan! Man, sometimes Roku just pisses me off! Darien thought to himself.
“Let’s get out of here before Sensei Horin accuses us of ‘cussing’ again,” said Roku.
“Wait! I need to get Yuka,” said Darien.
He quickly ran back into the dojo, and saw Yuka finishing her conversation with Sensai Horin.
“Yuka! We’ve go to go home!” said Darien.
“Nah, I’m staying here for a while. I’ve got some business to take care of,” she said.
“But what if mom gets mad?” asked Darien.
“Your problem, not mine,” said Yuka, and she walked away.
“Yuka! Man, damn you!” cursed Darien.
He walked out again, and explained the situation to Roku. Roku laughed and moved out of the back alley, Darien quickly followed.
They walked down the streets of Yokohama, through a quiet suburban neighborhood. Darien’s house wasn’t too far from the dojo, so he usually walked home with Roku. Many of the houses looked the same, but somehow, Darien’s just stood out. It was blue, unlike all the others, which were pale purple.
Once Darien arrived at his home, he parted with Roku, and walked up the front steps. He knocked on the door, and was greeted by his mother, who was surprised to see him without Yuka.
“Where’s Yuka?!” she asked.
“Oh, she’s still at the dojo,” replied Darien, who took off his shoes immediately, and stepped inside.
“And you didn’t wait for her?!” gasped Darien’s mother.
“Well, she said she ‘business’ to take care of,” shrugged Darien. He walked up the wooden stairs and to his room, where he quickly shut the door.

It's pretty short, but that's cause I'm writing in small font ^^! I really hoped that you liked it ^^!

You know, I was wrong when I reviewed a trainer fic earlier. It wasn't near script quality. This is. In all of that blue crap you don't try to describe your characters. You don't attempt to describe anything surrounding areas, or anything outside of a few basica, palor emotions. And it is short even without the small font text. Don't use excuses please.

Overall, this is a crappy little chapter. I do hope you go read the Advice/Rules stickies, and put more effort into the next. And actually describe people/places/things, and not go for another chapter to add to the depthless, descriptiveless, emotional lacking chapter you have already.

Umm... well O.O. What was that for? You don't have to be that harsh... I understand the first chapter wasn't the best, but I don't need someone insulting me in that manner. I can take criticism, but I can't take hard-core bashing. Please, if you decide to read my next chapter, be a little more curtious.
