Yeah, I heard about this, it's all over pojo. Now UDE is suing for 75 million dollars and a tele-dad deck... lol j/k. But they are suing for US$75,001,000.00. Whew, that's a lot of zeros. Well, at least the game will probably get cheaper now, and we'll be allowed to use ocg cards in tournaments. If we still have tournaments.

Yes it does make a difference. If konami screws the tournament scene they will lose a lot of money. They have to keep the current player base happy, or there will be massive quitting. Actually they have to keep all the UDE territories happy, or they will more money. I don't think Konami will screw with us, how ever a lot of people are scared that this game will fall into a deep depression, and it will never recover.

I really don't want Konami to take over.... Just because of the fact that Japanese cards might become legal for tournament play. Me and my friends have put alot of time and money in this game (not me as much). So for them to do that would just make us all quit.

My friend said the reason Konami took over is because UDE has gone overboard by making the game becomes a rich man's (or rather, rich kid's) game.

I wonder what will happen if Konami gives us a special pack containing cards like Rare DAD (basically good cards that were upped in rarity by UDE for the sake of more money) though.

If we get Reprints of whats Dominating the Meta as commons or even rare, I dont think the Meta will particularly be stable anymore because anyone could run and afford DAD. Just imagine all Top 16 Being TeleDAD, or All of them Being Lightsworn.

I don't think OCG cards will be allowed in TCG tournaments. They're made of different card and the backs are different, so you can tell them apart.

Currently not at the moment, though I would check here every so often to see if there are any updates.
