Anyone else like this manga series?
It takes a couple volumes for a real arc to come up, but I think it gets even more interesting then.
I'd have to say that I like the hand-to-hand fights the best as well as when the humans actually join the battle.

Also, what was the last count for the demons still in battle for king?
I've heard around the England arc there were 70 left.
Another number I've heard is 40 after the Millennium Demons Arc or so.

I think there are 56(including the manga and the filler mamono, discluding Faudo tower, discluding the Movie mamono, discluding the 1000 year old tablet mamono)

I'd say mine were:
Gash vs. Eshuros
Gash vs. Pati
Gash, Tio, Kanchome, Umagon vs. Victorim
Brago vs. 20+ Millennium Demons
Gash, Kanchome vs. Buzarai, Keys

Not favorite, but still interesting:
Gash+7others vs. Demorto(giant battle)
Tio/Megumi, Wonrei/LiYen vs. Zaoran/Gensou(Gensou-the human, cracked Tio's shield and was able to beat around Wonrei and LiYen, for a while)
Sunbeam/Umagon, Aleshyie(sp)/Riya vs. ?/Zaruchimu, ?/Fango(seeing Aleshyie take on Zaruchimu was pretty cool)

Well, in the latest chapter, Ted returns.
And next week, I suppose we'll find out if that girl-demon is really his sister, Cherish, which seems to be the case.

And as someone else mentioned, it will be pretty, hmm, well, not-good if all the Faudo Tower arc demons are sent back. Really if just the main four-Gash, Tio, Umagon, Kanchome, and probably Zeon survive, it will seem like a waste of characters.
Out of all them, who do you guys think'll stick around.

Nah, it'll be Gash. You know the plot, main character/hero vs. villain, main character's friends are destroyed by villain, main character wants revenge on the villain, main character fights vilain, main character uses normal attack, normal attack fails, main character is like "OMGz!!!1what happend", villain uses ridiculously powerful move, main character is startled, main character tries normal attack again, main character's attack fails again, villain uses a supermechapowerful uber move, villain thinks he took down the main character, villain is shocked to see theat the main character endured/survive the attack, main character makes boring speech about friendship, main character uses a powerful move "from the kindness of his heart/friends/whatever", villain is uber shocked, villain is all like "Noo!!!111 how can i be defeated." and villain dies/goes back and the main character wins. Big whoop.

But I wanna see Haido again.

Hmm, well, I enjoy both the anime and the manga. I only have the first three English volumes though, the next out Dec. 5. Personally, I can't quite decide. The good thing about manga nothing is "dubbed" out of it, you know what I mean. Like in [spoil]volume two is really bloody, unlike the dubbed counterpart[/spoil].
But most of the storyline in the manga is similar to the anime, except some mamono only are in the anime as "fillers" like Hyde and his partner Eido aren't in the manga series. I don't know if there's any other differences.

I guess if you don't like the anime much, the manga should be a bit better. You should try it out yourself and see. ^~

I'd go with the manga, but I tend to prefer it more, anyway.
I suppose some fights are better in the anime, but when theres a bunch of dialogue in the fight, it seems to drag a bit in the anime.

As for the ending, I was really just talking about who would survive the Faudo Arc.
For the end of the series I'm hoping:
Gash vs. Zeon
Brago vs. Bali
Gash vs. Brago
Then or before these fights Gash would have to take on his friends.

I got the time to finish reading volume three and it's hilarious when Kanchome and Folgore show up. Might get the fourth if I get some Christmas money. XP

Hmm, anyone keeping up with the current manga.
By my count there only around 27 demons left and a couple of them had to have been sent back off-screen. On top of that around 13 of them are in the current arc.
Lets see there is: [SPOIL]Gash, Tio, Kanchome, Umagon, Cherish, Kureido, Earth, Rodeux, Keys, Zeon, Brago, Bali, lizard/snake one, and Papipuro(sp)(might have left)[/SPOIL].
So, we are definately approaching the end.

Hmm, I wonder if it could end up like what I posted earlier:
