Korobooshi Bug or not a bug

Is Korobooshi a Bug i feel he isnt i think hes an elf but what do you think?

It's bug! I don't see an ice fairy or something I just see a beetle. But I don't belief it's a pre-evo of Volbeat/illumisel , even if it would be cool, because it's a black-spottet leaf beetle and not a firefly...
