Groudon, because it beats Kyogre 9/10 times and is just more useful overall.

I actually like Kyogre better, honestly. Groudon is a heck of a lot stronger, though.

I'd like to go into a big rant flaming Groudon, but to put it simple: Kyogre owns Groudon. Even with Drought weaking water attacks, it still has ice beam. Groudon has low sp. attack, and kyogre has high sp. def., so Solarbeam won't put a dent in kyogre's HP that much, but a hydro pump, even weakened, can still have enough power to seriously cripple it.

Depends who's using which Pokémon. If your opponent is using a Kyogre, and you are using a Groudon, then yes, Drought will be in play, because Kyogre erupts from it's pokéball first, therefore it's ability is used first. That being said, Groudon's Drought would be activated after Kyogre's Drizzle, so, it would be sunny.

Switching things around would have the same effect. Kyogre's Drizzle would be activated last, therefore being the main weather effect.

While Kyogre is more useful I just like the design of Groudon a lot more. It's not his fault that his counterpart happens to be of a superior and overused type than he is.

I like both, it depends on what you need. A CBer? A CMer? Swords Dancer? Bulky Water? I personally like Kyogre as much as Groudon, but when it comes down to it, I like Groudon the most. Also, you do realize that the options are multiple? You can choose more than one.

When i have to fight them to catch them, I can throw almost anything but electric at Kyogre, but i have a hard tme getting Groudon because I don't dare use some attacks. if it were a case of DEFEATING Groudon, I wouldn't have a problem.
