The last episode of YUgioh was defently the saddest. I am i crying while i type this. It was so sad how Atem had to leave. Agree?? So does anybody remember what Joey said about the best friends when Atem was about to leave???

Do you live in Europe because I don't see how you saw it yet? I've already seen it and I'm disappointed that they didn't keep the ending.

F*** 4Kids, they totally ruined the ending. Their was this awesome scene with the gang flying back to the airport, seeing Duke and Rebecca. Espa, Rex, Mai, Weevil, Mako, Paradox Brothers, Pegasus, the Schroeders, and Vivian were scene as well. Then we saw Yugi and his friends walking to school as Yugi says how his story is just beginning.

Kaiba: Well, what were you geeks expecting?
Joey: Fireworks, sappy music, anything. Hey, Yuge. Dontcha think it's time for one of your wrap-up speeches or something?
Yugi: Well, sometimes, the end of one adventure is the beginning of a new one.
Joey: Ahh, much better.

Okay, so it's not exactly like that, but, eh, close enough.

It's already aried in the UK, Rest of Europe and Japan.

So its hardly spoilers anymore.

Plus 4Kids ruined it. Go watch the Japanese version and feel the real ending.

Already have. The English version doesn't really make me shed a tear like the Japanese version did. Must of have been the music that 4Kids didn't use.

Well, Joey mentioned that Sappy music was one of the things he was expecting, next to Fireworks, and one of Yugi's usual Wrap-up speeches.

This episode was aired quite a while ago in the UK, and from what TS said, the rest of Europe as well. I have just watched the final episode on you tube, and I am guessing the the only reason that the scene you are talking about was cut out was because of the credits. I suppose that 4kids was just to lazy to bother with all of that.

Also, I thought that the stupid thing that Joey said at the end spoilt the mood. They should have just left it with no one speaking.

Plus there was that special video with loads of past characters including the neglected Roba brothers and Mako thet they cut ;_;

Also for the record the last episode was shown in Japan in September 2004 irrc.

Well, the way that 4Kids ended the anime was actually more accurate towards the manga. So.. you COULD say they did something that was right, or just bash them. <_<

It would've been nice to see all the side characters though.

I think it ended the right way, short of the Mai and Pegasus, none of the other characters really mattered much anyway (short of the ones in the the tomb)

Well, they kinda wanted a happy ending, but not as emotional as it is in the Japanese. After all, Mobile Fighter G-Gundam was mostly uncut, and it's got an emotional Happy Ending, and it has the original songs. And only Mark Gatha, the voice of Maverick Hunter X, can pull off Domon Kasshu successfully. After all, I thought it was ironic that X used Shining Finger on Sigma's face in The Day of Sigma.

Same here.I really enjoyed the music from the original better.

As for the script in the end,it went like this:
Tristen:So this is the end?Feels weird...

Joey:Yeah...

Kaiba:What were you geeks expecting?

Joey:Fireworks,sappy music,something...
At least make one of your little wrap-up speeches Yuge.

Yugi:Well,sometimes the end of one adventure is just the begining of another.

I just went back and looked at the end again. Here's what Joey said:

I guess there are some things we're not supposed to understand. Just look at me... I go through half my life not understanding what's going on. But I know that true friends may be hard to leave, but they're impossible to forget. And even though his stay wasn't as long as we would have liked, we're lucky we knew him at all.

It's too bad we didn't get to see the original ending. Its sad that the show is over... even with the dub, I really enjoyed it. There's still GX and Capsule Monsters but I'll miss the original with those long, 3+ episode-long duels (all I've seen for GX is 2 at the max). At least there are still quite a good number of episodes that will be new to me since there were periods in which I was out of it. I really hope we get to see reruns somewhere. An uncut dub release would be awesome!

I actually like the shorter duels in GX better. There's not as much repetitive talking in between turns like there were in DM.

Anyway, 4Kids can't keep things without trying to ruin the moment with a badly placed comment. And they really ticked me off when they took out the good music, too. They do that in GX, too. I don't know why they can't stick with the original music, it's not offensive or anything, is it? -_-

An uncut dub release would be awesome!

It would be nice, but it'll take forever for 4Kids to come out with it. They've been "thinking" about releasing uncut One Piece DVDs for a very long time now. >>

Yes the music they take out of the original gx is horrible.I don't know why they took thte music out its better than what they replace it with.
