Seriously, that's like the only set that is OK for him here.

Which fails against Gengar.

I can't rate, but I do know that a Choice Band holding Pokémon needs all attacking moves.
Speaking of Choice Band, why doesn't anyone use it for a Special Sweeper? I'm just curious.

Because it raises attack, not special attack and most special sweepers have calm mind or some other form of set up.

I thought that it boosted the power of whatever the attack you used [by 1.5] but forced you to use only that attack.

I'm sure others have noticed this but Bolt/Bean pwns this team (I know it's in game but you still play others outside of the game).

Gyarados 4xBolt
Aero 2xBolt/2xBeam
Skar 2xBolt
Cune 2xBolt (but that doesn't matter as much as a Sp Sponge)

It raises your attack power. If you have an attack of 100 and are holding a choice band, your attack will be 150. You can only use one move till you switch.

Gengar@???
Adament nature
- FP
- sub
- Shadow ball/nightmare if you use hypnosis
- hypnosis/sludge bomb

Yes, I know, he's sposed to be special, but with an adament nature (and mine's shiny so I have to use it) and all attacking moves being physical, he can be awesome. I'd recommend shadow ball, not nightmare so you have a reliable attack that doesn't take like 2 turns, and if you don't want sludge bomb but you do have shadow ball, hypnosis is still good cause if you sleep it, you may not have to sub up. (that's what mine has).
