I know that I use a Latios, but I like Latias more. If you are using the normal moveset, attack is not a big deal, and Latias has more defense (while latios has more attack), but it is your choice, who is better.

I withdraw reluctantly.
I like Latias.

She's smaller and has Mist Ball.

Without the Sould Dew, she has better Special Defense.

Anyway. Although I sincerely love both Latios and Latias, I prefer Latios just a tad more. He's blue (my second favorite color, and I like blue more than red), he looks cooler (as I prefer coolness over cuteness, which is a big trait of Latias), he has better offensive power (I've always prefered offense over defense), and he's...well, he's just plain awesome.=P

But still, both are amazing Pokémon; both are absolutely great-looking, they've both got excellent movepools, and they both have awesome stats. And plus, they're the only legendaries to actually have genders.=P There are really no other Pokémon like them.
