Latios

I'm planning on using my Master Ball on Rayquaza, just to help me through the Pokemon League, and to raise some weaker pkmn with. Now, when/if I come across Latios, say I send in a Pokemon like Wobbuffet, will Latios still be able to escape? I just want to know whether or not to use my Master Ball on Rayquaza or Latios.

You need a pokemon with Shadow Tag, Arena Trap or maybe Magnet Pull to stop him escaping, or use moves like Mean Look.

Rayquaza doesn't run away, use an Ultra Ball on it, I preferr Master Ball on Latios because it is the onliest one that runs away and someone who rarely appears.

Hmm......I don't know if I can take a lvl 70 Rayquaza with a lvl 60 Sceptile. I guess I could try.

You need to train. An Ice pokemon will do good against Rayquaza.

shadow tag is the only ability that works and mean look is gonna be the best move if you don't have that.

that would be best... you should always save right in front of rayquazzaa and attempt to whittle it down (as well any legendary) before just chunking a masterball. just watch out for it using rest. as well try whittling down lati@s before you just chunk the masterball... you might just be able to save your masterball for a shiny exploder/flee-er or trade it to another game

I think that if you have Pokemon strong enough to battle Rayquaza with, you should try to catch rayquaza with an Ultra Ball. If not, you can use the Master Ball on Rayquaza, and then catch Latias with an Ultra Ball. On Wobbuffet, I don't like the idea of it damaging Latias, because you won't know how much damage it will do, and it might knock Latias out. I used the Master Ball on Rayquaza, so first, I used a Crobat with Mean Look to trap it then damage it, but Latias would only need a Psychic attack to kill it, so whenever I saw Latias after that, I would damage it with my first Pokemon, until Latias' HP was in the red, and then, I just tried to catch it when it randomly came to me.

DO NOT CATCH RAYQUAZA WITH A MASTERBALL.use ultra balls, or even better than that use timer balls if you use a lot of ultra balls and its not working.

use your masterball on a Lati@s, DON'T use it for a rayquaza

get a team of wobbuffets/wynauts, keep chucking ultraballs @ latios and pray to god that it stays in there

Use the Masterball on Latios instead, Rayquaza is better to catch with Ultra balls or Timer balls.

Rayquaza isn't worth a masterball at all. Masterball is there for a 1 time situation. Latios took me 5 hours searching in the grass just to find the idiot. Rayquaza is going no where and his attacks suck to boot as he is in the wild. I caught him with 1 toss of an ultra ball.

if you have a friend have him give you a snorlax and snorlax
levels up knows block prevents the foes excape as long as the pokemon is in play
use a snorlax and save your master ball and i can catch my legendarys with out useing one master ball not to brag all it takes is time

fourty ultra balls
fourty timer balls
fourty full restores
and like 20 ex defenedes
and make sure that you have planted plenty of

Use the master ball on Latios...DO NOT USE IT ON RAYQUAZA you can always soft reset if you don't catch the Rayquaza. The latios will seldom appear!

Don't use masterballs at all for legendaries. IMO you should only use them for shinies if you only have 1. I caught both Rayquaza and Latios and now I'm prepared to catch a shiny if I find one.

To get Latios with an Ultra Ball I had Sceptile use False Swipe on it and then chased it down and kept throwing an ultra ball at it when it appeared. A better thing to would be use false swipe, find it again and fight with a wobafet and throw ultra balls.

^Do you know how hard it is to attack him and he leaves and then catch up to him again? Latios=Masterball. Rayquaza=anything else.

snorlax won't work because it is too slow and it move leave it for Latios to knock it out.

I'm PRETTY sure that Lati@s or cat-dogs let the opponent attack before escaping, much like tauros giving you a chance to chuck a ball at it before it runs away.

Us the Master Ball on Latios because he runs away. It is a pain trying to find him again. Rayquaza stays in 1 place.
