Leaf Green and Pokemon Box?

Hi
I was thinking about starting LG over again to get more shinies.
Now is LG compatible with Box and can it be activated before getting the Ruby and Saphire.
I have nothing else to do on LG with only 10 pokemon to get (3 unable(mew,Celebi,deoxys)4 waiting for XD which I am ordering(Lugia,Scyther,Electabuzz,Lunatone)1 evo 1 preevo(Scizor,Elekid)1 on Channel (Jirachi) 2 Searching on Ruby/Emerald(Latios/Latias))

So really I need to know whether I can store on Box or will I have to wait a while to trade between Ruby/Emerald

Every Version Of Pokemon R/S/FR/LG/E is compatible with pokemon box.

You have to beat the Elite 4 and get the National Pokedex before you can trade to Box, or even to R/S/E.

I believe you can put Pokemon into Box as soon as you get the Pokedex, no matter which game you are depositing from. To get them back out, though, you need to use either the game they came from or a game with at least 100 Pokemon in the Pokedex. I haven't used Box for a new LeafGreen game in quite some time, but I think that's how it works.

No, I tried that the first time I got LG, it won't let me put pokemon in until I have the National Dex, but you are right, you cannot get pokemon out of Box for any game until you get 100 pokemon.

I really don't know, I wish I had Pokemon Box but NO. :[
I'm guessing that you can trade bewteen them though, since you can trade bewteen L/F and R/S

The emulation portion of Box only works with Ruby and Sapphire, but any third-generation game can use the storage system.

That is correct, otherwise Box would be pointless to use if you had FR/LG

Poke Box is compatiable with FR/LG/R/S/E. You can deposite all pokemon from all versions. You don't have to wait. In fact, you will get eggs for the more pokemon you deposite. 1st= Swablu with false swipe. 2nd= Zigzagoon with extreme speed. 3rd= Skitty with payday. 4th= Pichu with Surf.
But once you deposite a pokemon, you have to have at least 100 pokemon on the pokedex of the version that you own if you ever want to do withdraw them again.
