Well they did mention they "could get to do things with the story in the Dark Horse comics they couldn't do in the show otherwise", so they might approach their bisexuality in a bit stronger way. I hope they aren't as tied up as they were with the finale.

That is obviously going to happen. I can't see three volume focused heavily on their relationship without a single kiss.
Just look at how frequently Katara and Aang shared a kiss in the Dark Horse comics.
