Which version of this game are you guys getting? Why is that?

A question I want answered: When Nintendo said that it would be a launch title for the Wii, did they mean that the Gamecube version would be released on the same day that the Wii is launched as well?

I'll probably get the Gamecube version and play the game on the Wii, seeing as how I've got the Cube version fully paid off.

They meant both versions of TP will be released on the same day, so I guess that means TP Wii is considered a launch title...

Anyway, I'll probably get the Wii version, simply becuase the gaming experience will have ever more to it.

Solid Kirby

Back, I guess.
I'd buy the Gamecube version, since I'm not exactly getting my hopes up for a Nintendo Wii when it gets launched, and I want my Zelda Fix ASAP.

Buying a Wii at launch and a 360 after price drop. (Yes, I'm going Wii60 on this one...)
Naturally, I'll be buying the Wii one. ;x Plus, if it's the same price, why not? I have a feeling GC ones are going to be sitting on shelves after a while.....

I'll buy the NGC one. First because I'm used to talking about it as a NGC game and I've been waiting (as everyone) a long time for it, and second because I don't want to buy a revolution the day it's launched.

I was gonna get the Gamecube one, but after a little bit of checking up and thinking I've decided to go straight to the Wii one. Evidently, the only difference is gonna be the method of control, the directional fairy and a slight up of the graphics.

I am going to get the Wii one. Even if I don't get the Wii on it's launch date, I'll still get the game and just wait to get the Wii.

You know, it's a funny thing. I reserved TP in March 05 at EB, right after they started taking preorders. Yesterday I get a phone call asking me if I still want the game, as it has been 14 MONTHS! So, I think I'll just move my preorder to Wii.(plus, if that doesn't work, I'll re-preorder. It's what, like, 5 bucks? Wow, expensive)

I really wonder why they don't make one disc and have additional features when loaded onto Wii... I still don't know which one. >_>

I have to wonder if the controls are all that's different... I mean, a Gamcube disc can hold 1.5 GB, and a Wii disc can hold... how much more? Somewhere around 3x or 4x as much data. Most GC games don't take up NEARLY the amount of space that a GC disc can hold, so having a Wii game that is only like, 1 GB or less would be wasteful. I've got the feeling that there will be extra levels or something.

I'll get the Gamecube one.I don't think I'll get the Wii on launch day so,I'll be happy with the GC version.

After looking at Twilight Princess on Wii, all I know is that I'm going to get the Wii version. I'd like to play it in a different way and I'm liking what I saw of it.

Most certainly the Wii version. I'll have my Wii preordered the day the price and launch window is set, so getting the console won't affect my purchase. And IMO, the Wii version with the new controls is going to be the true version, which seems to be the image Nintendo is giving off.

I am going to get the Wii version. I mean, I am sure that there will be a feature there to use the GC controller if you wanted. Plus, with the speaker on the Wii copntroller, and how they showed at E3, with you bee able to hear the string been drawn back, I think that it looks great.

I'll buy the Revolution version. I'm getting the rev no matter what, and I have enough GCN games. Besides, if I want the feel of the Gamecube version, I just play the Rev one with a GCN controller. Best of both worlds. xD

There's actually 4 GCN controller slots and 2 GCN memory card slots on the Rev. The top of it lifts up to reveal those. I posted a pic in the official TP thread.

I'm planning on getting it on the Wii, just because it sounds like it'll be alot cooler on the Wii. And the arrow shooting is intense.
