Whats a quick way to find these beasts? Do not say colosuam, as I ahve only onw time flute left.

there is no quick way, unless you use an action replay/gameshark.

okay.

if you have crystal you need to set them free in the burned tower i think, or was it the tin tower? Anyways i am pretty sure Raikou and Entei run off and you get to fight Suicune to capture it.

i am not sure about gold and silver

Im fr/lg once you beat the elite four you will randomely run into one of the beasts in the game at any time. If you choose Squirtle then Raikou will be running wild i your game. If you choose Bulbasaur then Entei will be running wild in your game.if you choose charmander than Suicune will be running wild in your game.

i dont get it. Anyways what i said was the way to find them, the way to catch them is very hard. You see once you run into it what happens is that there is a different wild pokemon sound. On the dogs first turn it will always try to run away. That is why you catch a Wobuffet, or get a pokemon to use sleep powder, hypnosis on the pokemons first turn so it will not run away.

The battle sound is different in Crystal only...

There's more differences: In G/S/C the beasts are at lv.40, but in LG/FR lv.50, so be careful. Also, in LG/FR two of the beasts, Raikou and Entei, know Roar. If you let them roar they will disappear from your Dex so you can't see their location anymore.

Wobbuffet's good, but be careful if you're catching beast with Roar. You can save Master Ball and use it on the beast. Don't worry about Mewtwo, it's quite easy to catch. Beasts are harder.

walk around in the grass for 2 mins, if no legendary go into a building.
keep trying till u see the legendary

Shift between routes until one of the beasts appears on one of them. Apply a Max Repel there and scrummage around. That's what I did. Note that the Legendary Beasts appear only on the Kanto mainland.

Not only that: they Roar themselves into oblivion. If a Catdog roars, it's gone for good! (why, GF?)

So save before you Arena Trap/Shadow Tag them. That way, if they Roar, you can reset.

I have a question: If you lower a Catdog's stats (as in Featherdance and such), do they remain lowered the next time you see them? If so, this might provide an easy, non-masterball, non-trapping way to catch the Catdogs!

the easy way is to buy repels,then walk on grasses putting a lousy pokemon on the first,then when you reach the grasses,use repel...if the effect has gone,go to another route and go back to the grasses again and repeat the process...

You can find Entei, Raikou & Suicune around the grasses of Kanto if your starter was Bulbasaur, Squirtle & Charmander after you defeated the Elite Four for the first time only.

A good way to find them is:-

If you have already seen them!
Look in your PokeDex and see where they are at the moment!Then start walking to that place!
Repeat until achieved!

P.S thats how i caught Latias!
