Legendary Reawakening

Children’s tales. Tales of magic and wonder, told by parents to their children throughout the generations. Of all the stories told, the ones about the Legendary Pokémon have always been the most popular with children of all ages.
We have all heard from bedtime stories about the Legendary Pokémon, the magnificent creatures whom are said to protect and defend the Earth. As we grew, however, we came to learn and understand that these beats were Legend, nothing more, nothing less. We grew to know that even if such wonderful monsters ever existed, they have abandoned us long ago. One tale did tell us just that.

At the beginning of time, the Legendary Pokémon were the first to walk upon the Earth. After them, all the other Pokémon were created, and then the humans, perhaps created by the Legends themselves. The Legendaries watched over the people and Pokémon, who lived together in harmony. Because of this, the mighty beasts felt that they were no longer needed in this Utopia of a world, and they all separated and went into a deep sleep, only to be woken if the human and Pokémon’s way of life was disrupted.

That way of life may be coming to an end.

Greed and arrogance spreads like a plague throughout the land, slowly consuming those too weak minded to fight it off. But that is only part of the trouble.

Team Rocket, a notorious group of villains, have become much too ambitious, and are now interested solely in ruling over the world. Their means of doing this are strange; they wish to call upon creatures of Darkness to assist them in reaching their goals. From the remains of an ancient city, they brought back from a long archeological trip (not the same trip when the Mew fossil was found-this is many years after that) a huge stone tablet. This tablet not only depicts a time when these monsters will be brought into the world, but also how to call upon them, bringing them to our plain. The Rockets believe that they can not only bring the power of these Pokémon from the Dark Realm in which they sleep, but that they have the technology to control them.
These Pokémon? The Dark Essences of the Legendaries themselves!

Another children’s tale speaks of this too.
People and Pokémon lived in peace for many years, and the Legendaries watched over them lovingly. Though somehow, the Legendaries did have a Dark Side, a state of mind really, one that could threaten to overrun their Good Side at any time, control their bodies. When the Legendaries learned of this, they became fearful, and together used a special form of magic known only to creatures of such power and holiness to remove the Evil within themselves. However, they did not realize that in doing so, their Dark Sides were able to create bodies for themselves, so that each Legendary had a Dark counterpart. The Legendaries noticed their flaw when it was too late, and the Dark Essences had already taken form. A great battle between the Legendaries started then, taking place within a city that had a mighty Shrine to the Legends, the city of Kalanosses, located deep within the Nularm jungle. The winners, however, were never truly decided: the good Legendaries, in their panic of harming the citizens of Kalanosses, used their combined powers to trap their Dark counterparts by creating a Realm in which to lock the Evil beasts away. They were successful, though they left the once beautiful city in ruins, leaving hundreds dead, with bodies strewn about the streets.

It was many years after this that the Legendaries decided that they were no longer needed and fell into their millennia long slumber, however before this, they were said to have made an announcement to the entire world.
They told of their Dark counterparts being trapped in the Realm of Darkness, and they should never return. However, if such a thing ever happened, then it would take both the power of the Legendaries and Humans to wipe the Dark monsters off the face of the planet for good. Human heart and Legendary power would work together, and only as one would they be able to save the world from falling into the dark grips of the Evil Legendaries…

Now, this takes place when, as mentioned, Team Rocket has obtained the Binding Tablet, an object that was created after the Dark Legendaries were sealed away. These Legendaries somehow were able to reach into our world and create this Tablet, waiting for any ambitious human to stumble upon it. Made of a stone the color of midnight when no stars shine, the Binding Tablet stands at about eight feet tall and a little over four feet wide, the spidery runes and pictures carved upon its shiny surface in an almost professional manner. It waited in the ruins of Kalanosses, in what was once a Shrine to the Legendaries. As long as it was within the Temple, the structure had stayed intact, and not the smallest layer of dust covered its dark surface, not a pebble tumbled from the ceiling onto it.
Now that Rocket knows how to unleash the Dark Legendaries, the true Legendaries are beginning to stir in their slumber, and are half consciously binding themselves to the humans that will help them destroy the dark Legendaries, if/when they do make it out of their Dark Realm.
You are those humans.

Well, there’s you plot right there, folks. This is my first try at running an RPG, so everyone will have to bare with me.

Now, you’ll have to fill in the following form:

Name: (Your first name alone is sufficient, add a last if it makes you happy.)
Age: (Please, I don’t want you to be 10. That’s a bit young to save the world. Your character must be 15 to 23.)
Gender: (self explanatory)
Physical Description: (Your character’s looks: hair, eyes, skin, build, height and weight [not the precise height and weight, just general/average] and clothing.)
Personality: (Keep it real please; make sure you have both strengths and weaknesses, and the ‘Loves being number one and hates losing’ is really old, not to mention rather cliché.)
General History: (Just about your character. This should be about three paragraphs long. I don’t mind if you are/were a Pokémon Trainer [NOT Master/’Battle Frontier Champion’ or anything of the sort], but then the use of other Pokémon in this RPG is prohibited, so you’ll have to have dropped off your Pokémon in your PC, at home, with a Professor, etc.)
Affiliated Legendary: (The Legendary whom you are connected to and will be traveling with. Does not have to be Uber.)
Legendary History: (How you met your Legendary. This should be at least three or four paragraphs long, but it must be believable, and if you were formally a Trainer you could not have used your Legendary in Battles. How you met your legendary is up to you, but it must make sense. How you interact depends on your personality and that of your Legendary.)
Legendary’s Personality: (Please make sure that they’re OC and have similar, if not the same personality that they had in a game/episode/movie. Keep in mind that their personality will be similar to their human partner’s; one of the reasons the human was chosen. SIDE NOTE: I suggest you give your Legendary a gender, as calling them all ‘it’ will be rather annoying, except for the Regis.)
Current Location: (Where you are now, when the RP starts. Flying over some town, swimming in some ocean, whatever. Also, please add what you are doing there. Also, you must be in the region your Legendary comes from [ie Mew from Kanto, Celebi from Jhoto, etc.] however if I’m provided with a proper explanation, a Hoenn Legendary may be in another region.)
Other: (If it doesn’t fit in another category, put it here.)

For example, I am doing my character to give you a general understanding of what you need to do.

Name:
Kaylie

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Physical Description: Light blond hair reaches her slender waist, falling about it in gentle waves. Her pale-skinned face is smooth, her features soft, complimenting her bright blue eyes. She’s tall for her age, and slim-not exceptionally skinny, but lean and well-defined. Slender, but not delicate, she is not exceptionally strong, but her muscles are nicely toned and proportional. Kaylie will usually be wearing a pair of dark blue jeans that hug her upper legs with large flairs at the bottom, and a violet, formfitting low neck t-shirt.

Personality: She is quite emotional and sympathetic, however her emotions sometimes stop her from seeing the big picture. Because of her sorrowful upbringings, she knows that the world really isn’t all fun and games, though she enjoys a good time either way. Over time she is learning to open up to the world. Kaylie is the kind of girl who will often ‘stop and smell the roses’. She does not usually jump to conclusions and takes her time in making decisions. This also makes her a good judge of character.

General History: Growing up in Lavender Town, she was often exposed to a great deal of sadness, seeing all those Trainers come to the Tower and mourn over their lost friends. This was always difficult for her, and she often went to the Tower to try to comfort the mourning Trainers, feeling guilty when she didn’t yet lost and helpless when she did.

One day, however, she finally had enough; she was thirteen and old enough to start traveling on her own, though she never really became a Trainer, nor did she ever plan a destination. She merely left her home and started traveling, not quite sure why-she just needed to get out.

In her travels Kaylie found and befriended an abandoned, undersized Altaria just outside the huge Saffron City early in her journey. She had approached the creature carefully, and seeing the lash marks on his back, became worried instantly, taking it to the Pokémon Center in Saffron. Once healed, Altaria decided to travel the countryside with his savior. They did so for two and a half years, becoming best of friends in the process.

One day, when she and Alatria were walking to Fuchsia City, they were surprised to find a wild Nidorino, mouth foaming, blocking their path. Every time they had tried getting around the spiked purple creature, it had only jumped in front of them, stopping them from going any further. Then out of nowhere it had jumped at Kaylie, aiming its horn for her stomach, but Altaria was quick to protect his friend. The Nidorino rammed him, stabbing the bird Pokémon with the horn atop its head and injecting him with a deadly poison.

They never made it to the Pokémon Center in time.

Affiliated Legendary: Mew

Legendary History: After the death of her beloved friend, Kaylie wandered about Kanto aimlessly. Her heart was broken, her soul shattered.

It was a month after Altaria had passed, and it was just past noon. The sky was just beginning to clear after a heavy rainfall that morning, so the ground was still moist and some gray clouds still hung in the air. The weather didn’t do anything to brighten Kaylie’s mood as she trudged along the beach just South of Fuchsia City, where there was not a human in sight.

She looked up to the heavens for guidance, hoping that maybe her friend was watching from above the heavy clouds. She could almost imagine seeing the blue bird floating on its fluffy wings through the clouds.

Then she saw something unexpected; a small, pink sparkle, just coming out of a cloud off to her right! Kaylie’s eyes widened and after a sharp intake of breath, and she was off, trying to run to the spot right under the mysterious shine, sand flying beneath her sandals. Not sure why she was chasing after it, except that she felt it was the right thing to do, Kaylie kept her gaze focused on the tiny pink shimmer, which began to swoop and dive at random in the air, though it was not in any way Kaylie had ever seen before: no winged creature could move like that.

Kaylie slowed and came to a stop just about under the sparkle. At this, it halted its wild aerial acrobatics, still sparkling brightly. Then it came down, down, down! Kaylie’s bright blue eyes watched curiously, heart pounding as it descended from the clouds. She was soon able to make out its shape-it was small, with two tiny hands and large oval feet. Its ears were tiny stubs atop the round face. Trailing behind it was a long, thin tail that ended in an oval.

Finally it halted its descent to float at eye level with Kaylie. Yes, it was tiny, perhaps a foot tall. Suddenly the shine faded, so that she could see the details of the creature’s soft pink fur and stare into its brilliant sapphire eyes.

For one frozen moment in time, the two stared at each other, then the pink creature broke the silence. “Mew?” it asked, though not by opening its tiny mouth; Kaylie could hear it in her head! The creature then began to fly around her, inspecting the young girl carefully. “Mew!” It then cried, smiling happily, throwing itself at the unsuspecting Kaylie, who was knocked off her feet to land in the sand, with the cat-like creature right on top of her.

“Wha…” she began, then noticed that twin tears were falling from her eyes. She grinned. “Hello to you too,” she said, running her hand through the creature’s light, silky pink fur, making it purr softly in delight. “Mew.”

Later that day, the human and Pokémon sat on the sandy beach, Kaylie making little designs in the drying sand with her finger. “So, what brings you here, little one?” she suddenly asked in a quiet whisper, not sure why-she didn’t really expect an answer.

The Legendary cocked her head and gave Kaylie an innocent, inquisitive look.

I wonder…can Mew understand me? She wondered, smiling fondly at the cat-like creature.

‘Why, I can understand you!’ a soft, feminine purr of a voice replied, but Kaylie heard it in her head! Kaylie looked at Mew with wide eyes, and Mew looked back with a slightly indignant look.

“You…” Kaylie said in a shaky voice, unable to continue.

Mew giggled. ‘Do not be afraid; I communicate through telepathy, like all Psychic creatures.’

Kaylie gaped for a moment as she digested this. Mew gazed at the girl with her pretty azure eyes patiently. She then got up from her sitting position, floating over gracefully to sit on Kaylie’s head, long, whip-like tail falling onto her back, swaying back and forth in a massaging motion. “So…why are you here?” she finally asked, looking up at the creature atop her head.

‘I am not sure myself. I awoke from my deep slumber with a feeling deep inside me. It was a strange feeling, a tugging, and I knew there was something I needed to do. Or someone I needed to see.’ Mew purred in her mind. ‘I searched for this someone, knowing whoever it was was out there somewhere. When I found you, I knew you were the someone I was looking for.’

Kaylie nodded wordlessly. “And you have no idea why?”

‘I’m not sure why I am here and why I have woken, but I feel that it is something important. I am here for a reason, though why I am with you I am not sure. There is something special about you, that is for certain. But why…I…I can not remember…everything is so fuzzy…so long ago…’ Mew’s train of thought trailed off, and her tail stopped moving about her back. Kaylie realized that Mew had fallen asleep!

Not sure what to do, Kaylie gently picked Mew up around her warm little body and took her off her head, creating a little cradle with her arms to hold the Legendary. The girl looked off into the distance- the ocean, stretching as far as the eye could see, was calm and peaceful, and Kaylie wondered how her life would be changed after the arrival of the Legendary Pokémon, Mew.

Legendary’s Personality: Mew has a very light, carefree personality, though she knows when it’s time to be serious. She’s soft and gentle, and even sort of fuzzy, one might say. Mew seems to have a serene, graceful air about her, so that merely being in the Legendary’s presence makes one feel calm and peaceful.

Current Location: Just North of Saffron City. Kaylie is helping Mew practice its techniques, which it has not used in a very long time.

Other: Mew is still trying to get a hang of the Transform technique, which it just can not seem to master properly.

A few notes:
As I said, this takes place a long time after Ash Ketchum traveled the countryside. Now his grandchildren are probably sitting in some golden age retirement home playing Bingo.
If you are wondering why the Legendaries sometimes were not asleep (like when Ash met them oh-so-many times) then I have an explanation for you. Sometimes, the Legendaries would wake up, and appear if they sensed trouble. They would do what needed to be done, then they would go back to sleep.

Team Rocket has a new leader, one even more power-hungry than Giovanni. This man’s name is also Giovanni, probably a descendant of the former leader. This new Giovanni has made Team Rocket into less of a thieving organization and more bent on ruling the world and shaping it to their desires.
Giovanni is a cruel dictator, and has made Team Rocket even more widespread-there are more members both live and spy in all four regions. Rocket has become so huge that sacrificing a few dozen members is no less difficult than blinking. He has no tolerance for incompetence, and will kill any member that is not meeting his standards or he just doesn’t trust.
There are five Rockets with extremely high statuses, like Administrators, who are the closest to Giovanni. They are the grand overseers, right under Giovanni. They are the ones who always report to him and send messages from him to the lower members. Through them, he always knows exactly what is going on within his ranks. He never misses a thing, and these loyal members never leave out a detail of what is going on. The lower members usually refer to these Administrators as the ‘Missiles’, the second in command, the deliverers of news.

The tale of Mewtwo’s creation has been lost (not only because Mewtwo wiped their memories). No Rocket member knows what that locked room full of dusty mechanical hands and blank computer monitors was used for. It is a mystery, and shall remain a mystery.

Speaking of Mewtwo, I am sure that the question of ‘is Mewtwo a Legendary’ has crossed your mind. No, Mewtwo did not exist at the beginning of time in which the Legendaries ruled. He was created by humans a long time after this. So, does Mewtwo count as a Legendary in this RPG? The answer is ‘yes’. As you know, Mew is a Legendary. Does Mewtwo not contain the DNA of Mew? Does that not count as being a Legendary, perhaps not directly, but still being a Legendary?
So then, I believe that when Mewtwo was ‘born’, Mwtwo’s Dark counterpart was born too, but it was born right into the Dark Realm in which the other Evil creatures are sealed away. Perhaps not all of Mewtwo’s Evil was sealed away immediately, but the rest was when Ash helped Mewtwo open his eyes to the world.

I am also fully aware that Latios died in the fifth movie. He is still a useable Legendary, though. Legendaries are immortal, because they’re god-like (hence them having stayed alive since the near dawn of time) and so even if one’s body is destroyed, their living energy -their soul- still remains. However, the soul only receives a body when the Legendary is needed again. So, because of what is transpiring, Latios is being called forth to return to the world. (Latios’ bodiless soul was also sort of asleep, and it floated around in nothingness, so the last thing he would remember was dieing.)

Now you are with your Legendary, probably roaming the countryside. The RPG has yet to begin, meaning that neither you nor your Legendary know why you are together. Your Legendary has yet to sense the Evil that is stirring, therefore it does not know why it has awakened, only that you two are somehow connected. Your Legendary feels obligated to be with you, and it feels as though you are connected, though it is not sure why. Please keep this in mind when filling out your Sigh Up.

Another general note is the way your Legendary communicates with you. The way it works is this:
-All Legendaries can sent you telepathic messages- these thoughts, feelings and emotions of your Legendary can be sent to you and only you. You can not do this back (at least, not at this point in the RP). All Legendaries communicate through thoughts like this to each other.
-Only Psychic Legendaries can send telepathic messages to anyone it chooses, as well as read the mind of anyone it wants to, meaning that the human and Psychic Legendary may communicate through thoughts.
-Only non-Psychic Legendaries can use their voices to communicate. So if it isn’t partly Psychic, it can communicate verbally. Psychic Legendaries can only use their voices for their battle cries (calling their name).

Please remember that it is possible that not everybody will be accepted: this will be because either I find you may not be skilled enough and may not add to the RPG, or your sheet is not valid. If I decide that a certain aspect of your character is inappropriate, then I will ask you to change it. If either of your Histories are not long enough or well written, I will ask you to rewrite them. Like I said, I may or may not accept everybody, so if you don’t get in, live with it.

When this starts, I will PM you all, but please do not bug me and constantly ask me when I will start: it will begin when it begins.

That’s right, everyone; I’m finally restarting Legendary Reawakening! I know we never got started last time, even though we finished Sign Ups and everything, but this time, things will be different.
I have PMed everyone from the original RPG, and everyone except for O’Malley will be rejoining. You are allowed to use the same Sign Up as before or you can make a totally new character (as long as the Legendary you want is free). The link for the old sign up thread is right here- Legendary Reawakening if you want to use your old sign up. Of course, anyone who wasn’t in it last time is still free to Sign Up, and I may accept LSUs later on.

((I'd definately consider this one of my best sign-ups yet))

Name: Tendou

Age: 16

Gender: female

Physical Description: Tendou has strawberry blonde hair and bright blue eyes, although they often can’t be seen due to the fact that she wears sunglasses a lot. She wears soft black pants that flare outward at the legs. Her shoes are also black, and she generally wears a grey shirt with a wolf on the front. She has a medium build, and stands about 5’ 6’’, weighing about 120 lbs. She has a pale complexion.

Personality: Her name means paradise, but she is far from it. She is mostly a loner, and hard to read sometimes because of her anti-social nature. She is very short tempered, sometimes lashing out for the smallest and most ridiculous reasons. But if(and I said if) you gain her trust and friendship, she proves to be loyal, and a great companion.

General History: When she was little she was as social as could be. She had won the charm of almost anyone she met, and had many friends. When she was ten she got her first pokemon, which was a Charmander named Matchtail. The Pokemon’s trademark was a pair of sunglasses, matching that of his trainer. They were the best of friends, although that Charmander proved to be a bit of a punk sometimes, but Tendou loved him dearly.

But it wasn’t long before disaster struck like a bolt of lightning. That fatal day had started just like any other one, Tendou waking up to the nudging of her Charmander, and going out to do her chores. Matchtail came with her of course; he followed her just about everywhere. But what happened was unexpected, for Tendou’s family lived in a quiet and peaceful town. A gang of bikers drove up as she and Matchtail were walking down the street to a friend’s house. They challenged her to a battle, but didn’t give her a choice about it. The bikers surrounded the two friends, and released their pokemon, which were a Vaporeon, a Wartortle, and a Golem. Matchtail jumped into action, the flame on his tail sky rocketed for a second, but soon returned to normal. Tendou looked around nervously, she was good at battling, but she had no other pokemon, and Matchtail was going up against three pokemon that had a huge advantage over him. Not only were they water and ground types, but they had all evolved at least one stage.

“What’s the matter, scared?”, one of them taunted. That did it. Tendou grew angry, and her hands balled into fists. “Go Matchtail, Flamethrower!” she yelled. But just as Matchtail called up its fire, the Vaporeon and Wartortle fired their Water Gun attack, dousing the fire and hitting Matchtail square in the chest. He fell backwards, and the two pokemon attacked again, the water spraying all around him. Hs flame started to smoke.

“Stop!” Tendou screamed, but the Pokemon kept on going. Tendou rushed in front of her Charmander, but it did no good. The force of the attack was too powerful for the young trainer to handle, and she was knocked to the ground, unconscious almost as she hit the floor. The biker gang stopped the attack then, calling back their pokemon, and speeding off down the road, leaving Tendou laying there next to her Charmander, whose flame had nearly gone out.

It was a few hours before Tendou awoke, and she found herself lying in her bed. She quickly got up, and fell back on the bed. Her whole body ached, and she felt hot for some reason, even though the room was cool. Her mom walked in, and made Tendou lay back on the bed. “What happened? And where’s my Charmander?” she asked, and she began to have a coughing fit. She sneezed a couple times, and waited for her mother to respond.

Tendou’s mother shifted nervously. It seemed to take her awhile to respond. “I don’t know how to tell you this, honey, but… Matchtail… he’s… there was nothing we could do… --“

“What happened to him?” Tendou demanded, fear rising in her chest.

“His fire went out. I’m so sorry,” her mother turned away, ashamed. Tendou screamed, and began coughing again. Her voice was giving out. It was obvious she had caught a bad cold while she was asleep. Then her vision faded.

After that, Tendou stopped talking to anyone. Her temper became worse, and she started to become violent. They had to kick her out of school, and about when she was twelve, she ran away from home. How she survived four years on the street, even she doesn’t know. She got food by doing small jobs for people, but she wouldn’t stay in the same place for long.

Affiliated Legendary: Zapdos

Legendary History: Tendou was walking along the road, her hands in her pockets, her sunglasses concealing her eyes completely. She was lost in thought thinking about her Charmander, how he had died. six years, almost to the day… and I still can’t stop remembering him. Why did he have to die? Why did he leave me stranded? It’s my own <censored> fault he died, if I hadn’t accepted that challenge, he would have lived, and all this wouldn’t have happened. If I hadn’t gotten so angry, he would still be here… those thoughts and many more were what she was thinking at this very moment. Just then, an Eevee came up to her, grinning and looking cute as it could be. Anyone could tell it wanted to play, but that was the wrong way to go with Tendou. She glared at it from behind her shades. “What do you want? I’m busy beating myself up,” she said angrily to it, and the Eevee cocked its tiny head. She pushed it out of the way with her foot, and walked on by. It followed her.

“What the <censored> do you want with me? I don’t have any food, nor do I want to play with something as disgustingly adorable as you!” she said, her voice rising with each word she spoke. The Eevee backed away slightly, a hurt expression on its face. Tendou felt a twinge of pity for the small fox, and took her sunglasses off to look at it properly. She approached it slowly, looking apologetic. “I’m sorry I yelled, alright. In case you didn’t know, I’ve had a rough life. And by the looks of it, you have too eh?” she said, her voice softening, seeing it for the first time. As she got a better look at it, she noticed that its fur was unbelievably dirty, and a small chunk of its ear was missing. She also noticed that it was slightly skinnier than a regular Eevee. “You must be half starved. I’ll take you to a Pokemon Center, and we’ll get you cleaned up,” she said, picking it up, and putting her shades back on. The Eevee protested, but it stopped squirming soon after.

They came into the nearest town, and she walked into the Pokemon Center, and place Eevee on desk. “Is this your Eevee miss? And take the sunglasses of, so I can see you properly,” the nurse at the desk demanded, and though reluctantly, Tendou removed the sunglasses and put them in her pocket. “No ma’am, that isn’t my eevee. I stopped being a trainer a long time ago. I found her on the side of the road, and I wanted her checked out so she can have a nice home,” Tendou said, rather honestly. The nurse stared at her for a long time, as though trying to determine if she were telling the truth. “Very well, we’ll have the Eevee checked out. Why don’t you take it?” the nurse offered, and the Eevee looked in Tendou’s direction. Tendou tuned around, ready to walk away. “I walked that path long ago. The last time I had a Pokemon, it died because of my own mistakes,” she said as she started to walk out the door, her head hung low. She only stopped when the Eevee whined slightly. She walked back in and turned to face it. “I’m sorry, little one. But I don’t want what happened to Matchtail to happen to you,” she said as she stroked the Eevee’s messy fur. “You could have it and not be a trainer,” the nurse offered. Tendou looked at the Eevee, and asked, “What do you think?” The Eevee jumped into Tendou’s arms and snuggled into her chest. Tendou put her back on the desk.

“You can come with me on one condition: Cut all the cuddly crap to a minimum, ‘kay?” The Eevee made a face for a minute, but she nodded in agreement. “You go get cleaned up. I’ll be waiting outside,” she said as she nodded to the nurse.

Tendou put her shades back on, and stepped out into the sunlight. It seems you’ve had a change of heart, Tendou… a voice echoed in her head. It was deep and clear, and sounded intelligent, but for some odd reason, a little animalistic. She turned around, and stumbled back in shock. There stood a huge bird-like pokemon, yellow-gold in color. On its back were jet-black feathers, and it sported a sharp bronze beak and even sharper talons. It was obvious that it had been the Pokemon, the Zapdos that had been talking to her, for he was the only one around at the time.

“How do you know my name?” was all she managed to get out. Because we were mean to be together, though why I am unsure… She thought for a moment if all this was true. But why me? What makes me more special than the next person? she thought.

I don’t know, but you seem to have something the other humans don’t…

“Still, I don’t know… This all is a little hard to swallow… but, if you say we were meant to be together, then I guess I don’t have much choice but to believe you,” she said, and she turned around to see the nurse coming out of the center. “Your Eevee is fine now, you can come in and get her,” the nurse said as she beckoned Tendou inside. She turned around once, and saw that Zapdos had disappeared. She walked inside, and saw the Eevee waiting on the desk.

“I guess I’ll have to think of a name for you,” she said as she lifted the Eevee off the desk. “Thanks for helping this little one out,” said Tendou, actually smiling for once on her life. The nurse curtsied. “No problem. We hope to see you again.”

“Just don’t hold your breath…” Tendou muttered as she walked back outside. She met Zapdos again soon after, and they traveled together, Zapdos and Eevee, whom she had name Evelyn, at her side.
Legendary’s Personality: he isn’t quite as anti-social as Tendou, mainly because he will speak when she addresses him. And he doesn’t have near as short a temper as she does either. He does enjoy her company, and he is working to bring her out of the shell she had been in for so long.

Current Location: Tendou is with Evelyn and Zapdos, somewhere near Saffron City.

Knightblazer: Of course, go ahead. I have no objections. Lucario (stupid 'official' name) shall be reserved.

Seraphinu: At first I was going to say "most definitely accepted", but your Legendary History was rather iffy. I press the point that none of the humans are supposed to have Pokémon, but since I'm already making exceptions for purple_drake and Skru-Chan, I'll have to be fair.
The harsh personality of your trainer borders on Mary-Sue, especially with the 'befriending of a rare Pokémon' bit going on. Plus a person won't usually go sour like that because their Pokémon died, especially if they're so social to begin with.
Acceptance Pending because you're RPing skills are good, but you're not such a good writer. I'd like to see this edited...

But note for the future: only Psychic Legendaries can read thoughts. All Legendaries except the Psychic ones can also speak using their voice; this is their main way of communicating (Psychic legendaries only use their voices for battle cries, etc).

And mild swearing is allowed; Hell and crap, for example, are permissable.

General note: OKAY, WHOEVER RATED THIS TWO STARS BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION AND FESS UP, YOU COWARD.
Anyone who thinks this deserves two stars should say so.

If you think this deserves more than two stars, rate it! If this is bad, I want to know. If you like it, rate accordingly.
>.< Anyone who rates like this should be ashamed...

Shinigami...
Name: Kali Laurence

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Physical Description: Kali looks to be around average height for a 17 year old girl and has slightly tanned skin gracing her features. Her hair is a dark brown colour which extends to her mid back with a slight kinkiness to it; unruly bangs of this chocolate hair descend to cover emerald orbs, which is why a pair of black sun glasses sat perched atop her head to keep the sleek bangs at bay. Her clothing consists of a black, long sleeved crop top, which comes to a stop just above her bellybutton and a pair of black baggy trousers which hang low at her waste held up only by two silver buckled black belts. Multiple silver chains descend from many clasps on her trousers and the bottoms of said trousers flare to cover heavy black vans which seem at all times to be hidden from view. Around her neck is a silver pendant carved into the shape of a legendary serpent, Rayquaza. Her upper arm is home to a black dragon tattoo which spirals around her upper arm to the join of her elbow.

Personality: Kali has a very complex personality, though she seems to be rather out cast towards others, when known, she is rather friendly and protective towards her comrades. Though she does not easily trust those around her and is a hard person to be-friend, she is an intelligent individual as well as down to earth, her biggest flaw is her incapability to mingle with crowds. When amongst a large amount of people she tends to withdraw from making any contact with those she does not know, but all she really needs is a push in the right direction to gain more confidence around larger crowds, only then will she appear to be the cheerful and positive person that she really is.

General History: Kali had attended a very expensive Pokemon school when she was younger in till the age of sixteen when she started her Pokemon journey, hoping to become a great Pokemon Master. But having reached Honen on her last journey, she found her true calling as a Breeder.

Giving up all hope of becoming a Pokemon Master, she returned to her home of Ecruteak and dedicated her time to Pokemon breeding. Using her schooling skills to learn as much about Pokemon as she could and breed multiple types, she stored them all at a local Lab which gave her space to send her Pokemon and visit them on a regular basis. Being as young as she was, Kali could not afford her own Pokemon space just yet.

From that day on, her time had been dedicated to the habitats of Pokemon as well as their breeding rituals, she took time sketching multiple Pokemon and scenery of where these Pokemon inhabited. She kept none of her Pokemon with her but merely studied them at the lab whenever she had time. She aims to be a professional Pokemon breeder and perhaps a Pokemon Professor when she is older. Her aim at the moment is to attend a Pokemon Collage to raise her knowledge of Pokemon.

Affiliated Legendary: Lugia

Legendary History:

She threw another stone across the lake, watching as it made small ripples in the calm surface. She had decided to go fishing for Pokemon to study that day, but on the whole, it was not coming along very well, there was nothing biting today, it was as if the fish Pokemon had all been scared away by something or another.

Her rod lay close by, held by a few twigs and rocks so that it wouldn’t slide into the water. She sighed and dug into her back pack for something to eat, and grabbed a hold of a sandwich her mother had made her earlier that day.

She unravelled it from the foil and took a healthy bite out of the cheese filled bread and placed the wrapping back into a small pouch on the side of her bag.

She wrapped her arms around her legs and pulled herself into a small ball, looking out towards the other side of the lake where the forest started. She would go into that forest one day on another journey after she finished her research near home. She had always dreamed of making her village proud, and even the gym leader had said she had potential and that the village expected great things from her.

She smiled unknowingly to herself, and sighed in content.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her rod begin to shingle slightly, and she made a hasty leap for it, only to have it slip through her fingers and into the depths of the lake. She growled and ran a rather shaky hand through her hair in frustration.

“Great.”

Stuffing her equipment back into her bag, she threw it over her shoulder and made to leave when the noise of splashing water met her ears and she was immediately drenched with the coldness of the lake. She yelled involuntarily and turned immediately to scream at the beast who had done this to her.

But her mouth soon snapped shut, and eyes turned wide as she found that the beast she had thought to have been a Gyarados was in fact the complete opposite of what one might class and ‘ocean dweller’.

A huge bird like creature now glided over her, its shadow enveloping her in darkness and its lavender eyes staring at her in acknowledgement.

“Kali.”

******

Later that day she bid her mother and father a fair well once again after finishing a hasty meal and heading out for the lake.

Lugia, as she had come to know it, was floating leisurely in the centre f the lake, flapping its wings so that splashes of water flew up to drench its head with coolness.

Kali sighed, “I told you to stay hidden beneath the lake.”

“There was no one around; I decided to spend some time above the surface.” Lugia announced.

The young teen shrugged, and threw her backpack to the side, along with her vans. She rolled up her trousers and plunged her bare feet into the lake, bathing them in the soothing liquid. It was a long trek to the lake, and it was already getting quite dark.

“So, your, MY legendary?”

“I wouldn’t say that I am completely yours, but I do need your help.”

“Hmm, and the difference being?”

Legendary’s Personality: Lugia is rather a laid back and relaxed character. He has great knowledge of the world they live in, and is forever trying to keep Kali out of trouble, though not much can be said for his behaviour either as he has been known to have his brawls in the past with the three legendary birds. Never the less, Lugia has is a strict character, but knows when the time is right to let himself relax and be at peace with the world.

Current Location: Lake of Rage, Johto. The duo are still unsure of what it is they are meant to be doing at the moment. Lugia is trying to persuade Kali to leave her hometown and accompany him on this journey.

Other: N/A

Name: Pyrite

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Physical Description: Pyrite is a bit short for her age, but she doesn't mind of others' comments about her stature and height. She has a slight problem in her shoulderblade from an accident so her left shoulder sags in an improper position, but it requires an average medical knowledge to know this. Her body is athletic and her skin is slightly tanned. Pyrite usually wears jeans with a green sweatshirt over a red tank top or shirt with red and white basketball shoes. Her hair is long and dark brown, reaching past her shoulders midway down her back, usually tied in a loose ponytail with two strands on either side of her head hanging out. Her eyes are deep chocolate brown with eyelids donned with long, black eyelashes.

Personality: Pyrite is fun loving and a bit clumsy. She's shy and funny, enjoying life and seeking sunshine through rain clouds. Pyrite is good at expressing feelings through similies or metaphors giving her a likable character. She is overall smart but gets easily sonfused with simple things. When others are hurt, she cares for their injuries, whether physical or emotional. When she gets sad, she still keeps a bright face and hides her scars. Unlike some girls, she doesn't get drmatic over injuries and quickly recovers, forgetting the incident ever happened, mostly becuase she's forgetful. She's rebellious and hates skirts or lace and other frivollry, making her a tomboy. She keeps a cool temper and is scarcastic at times. When she's sad, she hides her depression under a mix of happy emotions, making her closest friends knowledgeable of only a little of her hidden personality.

General History: Pyrite had a sort of normal life. Her father worked for the governement in other continents so she rarely saw him. She participated in sports and drama activities in her spare time at high school, constantly on a busy schedule, but still able to spend time with her friends and family. After finishing her 1st year of high school, she and mother and siblings boarded a plane to go to Orre to live with her dad. The plane had barely left the border between Kanto and Johto when a dreadful storm struck. Since the small plane wasn't built for the sudden weather, it wobbled blindly toward cliffs looming ahead.

Seeing that the plane couldn't be turned around, the small amount of passengers were given parachutes and were forced to evacuate the plane. Separated from her family, Pyrite's parachute flitted about in the treacherous storm. Thankfully, the plane was flying about 300 feet above the ground, but that did not stop her parachute from ripping two-thirds down.

When she awoke, she couldn't remember anything at all. She looked about her, she was in a dew, covered forest, dripping wet from wither dew or rain. The sun barely pentrated the glade, giving a strange, mossy-green light around her. Her first instinct was to wring out her hair, which she did. Her sweatshirt and jeans were soaked as well, but she couldn't help that right now. Guessing she needed a name, she decided to find her name once she found shelter.

After some time, she ended up in Newbark Town, according to the sign she saw earlier. It was there she met Professor Elm, who asked her who she was. Thinking of a name as fast as she could, she blurted out, "Pyrite."

Elm took her under his wing and taught her how to become a pokemon researcher. By the next year, she had caught and evolved an Arcanine and Ninetails who assisted her in her reaserching every once in a while. It was during this year she concluded was sent to study two ancient towers in Ecruteak. It took her around a week and a half to make it there and another week to get her identification cleared past security since the communication systems were not very advanced in the area, the old citizens refusing to join modern electronics and instead refrain to sending messages through Pidgeys, Spearows or Ledybas.

Affiliated Legendary: Entei

Legendary History: Pyrite thanked the old man for telling her the legend of Lugia and Ho-oh as she closed her notebook. The pleasant old man had consented to tell her all he knew about the two legendary pokemon to aid her in her reseach paper about the two legendary pokemon.

She had hoped for her to be cleared for passage into the two towers today, but she was told that they had not yet received confirmation from the J.S.F. otherwise known as the Johto Security Foundation which monitored all security of towns, stores and legandary-involved ruins or sites.

She stepped from the spice-smelling house into the warm day. A weak strip of wind rustled her long hair, blowing some strands over her exposed shoulders. Pyrite was wearing a light red tank top and ripped jeans since the heat was reaching unbearable heights.

Against the hot days that consumed the town since she arrived, the townspeople, mostly consisting of old, stubborn people in retirment, were filled with excitement for unknown reasons. Curious, Pyrite strove to find out what the reason for this was in her spare time, which still wasn't much.

Dusk was closing in, but the temperature remained the same, but Pyrite ignored that for now. She enjoyed the heat, keeping her spirits up as she worked hard to acquire as much as she could about the history of the two towers. She was halfway to the PokeCenter when a young boy ran from a nearby house, shouting for her to wait.

"Hey, miss. I heard from my grandpa that you trying to learn 'bout legendar pokeman." the kid told Pyrite in a cute voice. "My brothder knowz a lot 'bout dem. You wanna talk to im?"

Pyrite gladly consented and followed the 6 year-old to the house he emerged from. Inside, a young man in his earley 30's sat reading a book. The young boy apporached him and told him that she wanted to know about legendaries in his undeveloped vocabulary and pronounciation. The man smiled at his sibling and looked at Pyrite.

Smiling, he asked if she would like to know about the legendary dogs. Deeply intrigued, she pulled out her notebook and pen and said she would be happy to listen.

The young man firstly intorduced himself as Kevin and the younger boy as Matthew, who proudly pointed at himself saying, "Dat's me ya know."

Kevin smiled and was about to begin his story when Pyrite's PokeNav began ringing. Excusing herself, she walked outside and opened it, greeted by Professor Elm's face. He smiled at her and announced that she was cleared to enter the Burnt Tower, but entry to the other tower was still being determined by the monks. Apologizing that she wouldn't be able to listen to Kevin's story, Pyrite eagerly left to examine the remains of the burnt tower.

The security guards gazed suspiciously at the excited girl, but who could blame them, it was nearly ten at night. The tower was illuminated by dusky lanterns hanging over what was left of the ceiling. She wrinkled her nose in distaste of the rancid odor that hung around the smoldering wood.

The floor creaked underneath her weight, which made Pyrite more frisky and careful about where she stepped. The whole tower seemed to hold nothing of any value for her research at all. Pyrite groaned in displeasure and turned around to where she had come from. Forgetting to be careful of her steps, she stepped on something furry and muscular.

A dirty Persian yowled angrily and swiped at the surprised girl. Trying to dodge the attack, she tripped and fell with a low thud on the floor. The wood groaned at the sudden weight and gave way, leaving Pyrite to the will of gravity. She yelped as she fell into the darkness, her voice echoing barely above a whisper in the emptiness around her.

Her arm ached and numbed at the same time. Around her was bleak darkness except for a small shaft of dusky lgiht from the hole she fell through above her. She touched her arm, feeling a thin line of sticky liquid. She finally noticed that the heat around her was seemingly unbearable. She assumed it might be trapped gasses from the fire that occured hundreds of years ago that made the heat, but the theory was dropped the instant she noticed a stone stairway nearby.

A growl rumbled behind her as she slowly shuffled up the chipped steps. She looked over her shoulder bravely, only to see darkness. Pyrite squinted her eyes, but it did no use. She continued her trek up the long steps when she heard a shuffle behind her. She looked back again and her eyes met straight with two red pupils belonging to the face of a massive dog. The intense heat semed to center around its enormous form like a radiator.

Stocky legs covered in dark tan fur supported a muscular body covered in the same, long fur and a short neck leading to a wise face with a three-pronged emblem on its forehead that caught her attention. Not thinking, she touched the emblem. Her fingers exploded with burning pain, but, oddly, she didn't notice it at all. What caught her was the rumbling voice that echoed from the creature's mouth.

"I have found you."

Legendary’s Personality: Entei is serious and eventually smiles. He is overprotective of Pyrite's wellfare and is stubborn. He thinks things through and obeys his higher authorities or Pyrite's scarcastic whims without protest. Like a teacher, he constantly instructs Pyrite what she should and shouldn't do, trying his best to keep her in line. This is usually returned from a rebellious prank played by Pyrite to show her resentment for manners and proper etiqutte and thinking. He scolds Pyrite when she gets in trouble and smiles to himself when she falls into minor misfortunes through her own foolishness or tries her best to please him by acting correctly, which usually fails miserably.

Current Location: Since Pyrite stopped working for Elm, she's visiting Olivine to relax a bit and reduce her amount of stress from her shocking encounter with Entei for the first time.

Damsel mostly Stressed.
man it isn't easy trying to figure out how Mewtwo would lower himself to following a human around... um I'll edit in the intilics later...

Name: Samantha Rose (usually goes by Rose, its her middle name)

Age: 21

Gender: female

Physical Description: A very pale woman, she stands around 5’3 and has faded blue eyes which gives them an icy look. Her hair is very thin and is cut to a short style that barely passes her ears. It’s a bit longer in the back to cover the back of her head. Her hair color is a strange white which gives her the look of a ghost. Many think she may be albino but she actually bleaches the hair this color it’s originally blond. She wears a black skirt that goes to a bit above her knees while underneath she wears dark blue jeans which she has black boots on below that. She has a silver belt on while a chain goes around one hip and hangs loose on the other. She wears a dress shirt which is a dark maroon. The sleeves don’t go over her shoulders but around while she wears a sleeveless tight shirt underneath this that hugs around the neck. She wears black fingerless gloves that go to her elbows.

Personality: a very serious character, don’t let her odd clothing choice make you think she is a joke. She takes all her responsibilities with such a seriousness that cracking a joke around her might get someone a deadly glare. She doesn’t like to speak unless the situation needs to be taken care off and she will take charge if everyone seems to be acting like ‘idiots’ she tends to keep what she thinks about others to herself but if she has too, she will tell you exactly what she thinks of someone and how if they don’t improve are going to fail at accomplishing anything at life. But thankfully she rarely speaks out like that.

General History: Rose as she likes to be called grew up in the city, what city isn’t exactly important because she doesn’t really return home anymore. She grew up learning about pokemon like everyone else and has a wide knowledge about most of the common pokemon. She left home at the age of ten to begin her pokemon journey, Where she eventually failed when her first pokemon was killed when she challenged someone far above her level. Her parents never heard from her since once she lost, feeling a failure at this she obtained another pokemon and began her training, becoming very harsh and realistic and putting up barriers to anyone who tried to become her friends. She never became a great champion but she is skilled with a pokeball. Over time as she grew and lived off battling her bitter self soon started to show on the outside, her emotionless face while her eyes showed all the emotion needed. Now at the age of twenty two she is about to realize that her toll in life is just about to get very… interesting.

She can’t stand to lose… she will take this responsibility as serious as she took her pokemon training.

Affiliated Legendary: The amazing and sexyful er um… Mewtwo

Legendary History: She always pushed herself, Taking that chance and responsibility that she never really had to take in the first place. Always going for that extra thrill, seeking to prove to herself that she was not a failure and would succeed in something great.
There Rose stood. At a very sacred mountain, a mountain in which use to be rumored to have very special waters but now was abandoned as those waters seemed to have vanished. She looked out into the empty land, where a lake once lay, Her blue eyes scanning about. She had traveled up here with out her pokemon. She wanted to see if she could with out their aid. She then began to make her descent into the valley never knowing she was being watched.

‘You shouldn’t be here’ The voice rang in her head seeming to almost be her own thought and yet the voice didn’t seem correct.

Rose showed a rare expression, alarm. As she put a hand to her head and glanced around.

‘I will return you to the land bellow and with no memory of this passing.’

Rose continued to look around, her eyes darting to every place one could hide from her. Finally she saw something and pointed.

”Who is speaking to me?” she asked, as she said this she saw the strange gray creature rise his hand but it paused. Something seeming to hold it back.

‘You are important.’ The male voice spoke. Rose took in his features; he looked like a strange deformed something. With his large round legs, long tail and thin three fingered arms. His violet eyes staring at her with the same emotion she often used while his face did not express it.

She quickly ran through a list of pokemon in her head and when none matched her eyes showed a little curiosity in them. “What are you?” She asked, her voice very monotone.

‘That is none of your concern’. He raised his hand again and glared as something seemed to keep him from removing this human from his sight and going back to being alone. But he just… couldn’t make her leave or even touch her mind to cause her to forget his presence. ‘Interesting.’

Rose was getting tired of this. “Then tell me who you are if you will not tell me what you are.”
She was not in the mood to be dealing with some speaking pokemon.

The psychic pokemon seemed to be feeling the same about the human. Yet he was unable to remove her, some force told him this was important, this meeting was something that would lead to something great. So if he could not remove her… he would have to speak to her.

‘I am Mewtwo.’ He replied calmly. Rose finally realized something, she had seen wall drawings and sketches of a legendry known as Mew and he did somewhat look like one. Well to an extent.

“Are you a mew?” she asked very much wishing she had her pokemon with her. This would be a very fine catch indeed. But then as she thought more about it… she didn’t really want to catch him at all. It felt almost… wrong to think it.

‘I am only apart of what Mew is. Just a shadow. But do not doubt my abilities human.’
The way he spoke these words made Rose fully understand it, he was not something she could catch nor ever want to catch. He was no mere pokemon, there was more to him and more to the meaning of this. Almost as if fate herself had brought them here. But of course Rose only felt this subconsciously.

The woman glanced around before looking back at Mewtwo, “Why are you here of all places?”

He seemed to look around with her, ‘This is not my home but I do see it as part of my territory. It is secluded and away from greedy humans.’

Rose understood perfectly, she knew very well the greed of humanity. It had taken much from her and given nothing back. “I am sorry for the intrusion. I shall go.” She replied with almost a bow. As she respected his space, just like she expected him to respect hers. She turned to go but she felt a slight tug on her mind and glanced back.

‘This meeting… there is something behind it. Do you feel it?’ his voice in her mind asked. She eyed him a moment before her head slowly nodded. Mewtwo stepped forward. His eyes glowed a bit before her looked away.

‘Samantha Rose. Fate has brought you to me…’

“I don’t believe in fate.” Rose nearly snapped out, “It is nothing but a thief and a trickster. But if you are implying what I think you are implying. Then I agree.”

A smirk placed across Mewtwo’s face. ‘Then let us go.’

Legendary’s Personality: Mewtwo is a calm collected being, very powerful and wise. He learned a long time ago that not all humans are cruel and that life is very special. He has kept these in his heart and respects all life… but it does not mean he has to like it. He still is bitter against most humans and would rather not be around them then risk being used. He is always serious and most sarcastic humor and jokes go right over his head. This seriousness fits in fine with Rose as they both would rather just remain quiet in ones company then talk. They tend to always know what the other is about to think or say or do and usually respect the decision. Mewtwo still has his rough edges but he also has a better understanding from right and wrong.

Current Location: Rose and Mewtwo (while Mewtwo does keep his distance) are currently near near veridian forest. They aren't in the forest yet and Rose has had to deal with a few trainers and such but since she isn't one right now they tend to leave her alone. Mewtwo scares off any pokemon who dare attack. They are just currently um, wandering about. Well Rose is but she knows Mewtwo is always near by.

anything else: Rose left her two pokemon behind after she met Mewtwo. She knew she wouldn't need them and they would only cause trouble. There was something more importent she needed to do now... even though she doesn't know what yet. She left then with a park ranger who is all ack cuz he didn't really want them...

Ookami: I don't like the fact that you made Ash out to be a Pokémon Master, 'cause he wasn't. He turned out to be a good trainer, and that was that. Yes, I hate Ash; Ash must die. Ash = crappy trainer. Accpeted, none-the-less.

JoJo@210 and BrokenDreams: Well, we have a little problem here, seeing as JoJo@210 reserved Entei, but BrokenDreams already made and posted her sign-up. I can't say if the reservation counted, however, because I didn't 'verify' it, so I don't know if I should make a final decision for BrokenDreams or not.
Although, BrokenDreams, your sign up was rather iffy. For example, Eusine is dead by now. -_- You should have read the first post more carefully to see the time frame of this RP. And to answer your question: I have it all planned out, so don't worry about how, when and where we meet. You'll know in time...

So here's the solution: JoJo@210 will post his sign up later, and I will decide based on whose is 'better'. The other person may sign up with another Legendary.

Lady Myuu: Most definitely accepted! :D I really liked it, but you know what I said over MSN, so you'll have to clear that up.

Divine Beauty
the reason she became so is becasue she feels it is her fault that the pokemon died. This character is actually based more off of me, and this would be my general reaction. I have a rotten temper myself... except I'm o where near as violent. And yeah, I think Ash should die too... So many seasons have passed and he only has, what 20 or so different species of Pokemon? By the time the cesond season enfed, Gary had three times that many pokemon. They need a new main character...
