Ok so their designs are amazing.
I was sure they are part ICE lol.

I like that gen 5 Pokemon r getting love in the recent games (alot of them get new evo or new forms), but what about gen 6 Pokemon? They deserve love TOO.

Anyway, did that reporter??????? Scary

If Pokemon gens 1, 2, 3 and 5 have all had regional form representation, its likely that gen 9 will have at least one gen 4 or 6 Pokemon have a regional form.

I hope so.
Cuz the reason of "gen 6 being too new" doesnt apply, since one gen 5 Pokemon got a ME in gen 6(Audino), when get 5 was very recent

Captain Jigglypuff

*On Vacation. Go Away!*
I'm not sure if the researcher is dead, it kinda sounds like he ran away. I hope this isn't going to be an issue in the games but, at the same time, it could be fun if we have to deal with illusions.
He probably ran away to safety given how wild Pokémon in Legends will openly attack humans. Zoroark chasing the researcher away makes sense as the Zorua is most likely its child and it’s paternal instinct to protect its young is what made it start to run at the man.

Zorovolt

Champion of the Zora
I am absolutely buzzing for these- Zorua and Zoroark are 2 of my very favourites. Interesting to see what other forms may be up their sleeve.

PrinceOfFacade

Ghost-Type Master
I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping for a brand new Normal/Ghost line. Not for Legends, but sometime in the series.

I don't care much for the Zoroark line, but they do look nice with this variant.

Might be a reference to Hisuian Arcanine or a new evolution to Growlithe. Mai is the ancestor of Marley whose signature Pokémon is Arcanine after all.

Referrring to my response here, it appears Mai's hair-clip is based on Zorua line which are confirmed Normal/Ghost types. Her motifs including a Stantler, Ursaring, a Zoroark-clip and a partner Pokémon as Munchlax, it is safe to claim she is specialized in Normal-type.

I like the design but yet another gen 5 Pokemon? Uhh.

I want to see some gen 3,4,6 or even 7 regional variants
Don't think we'll get any gen 4 variants in this game.

Animals can adapt within the same environment over years, but to Pokemon it seems like only Pokemon not originally found within a region can have a regional variant of said region.

That's so far been the case, but not really considering that I expect Scyther to get a regional variant that's Bug/Rock type.

At the moment I am suspecting there might not be a regional Scyther. Mainly due to the oddity with how Scyther evolves into a Pokemon of the same base stats. It'd be bit a odd for this game to introduce two Bug/Rock types in the same line with the same base stats so unless Kleavor is stronger I think they might just use the same form of Scyther. Its not impossible but for now I suspect this might just be a pure regional evolution (and imply at least in this region Scizor just doesn't exist yet)
