Uhh... Yeah... I did these because I was bored after school.

Also... I'm lettin' you know right now.... I'm not taking requests... I can't take the swarms of request after request.... Unless you prove to me you really need a sprite for like a comic or something I'm not going to make it!

2nd : Over-shaded
3rd : inverted colors without the black background
4th : with black background

Eh? Outlining's no biggie, and your overshading is impressive, but overshading's dull. Inverting colors = nothing much. =/ And you didn't get rid of all the black on #3.

Um... Your over shading comment made no sence... first you said it was impressive and after that you said it was dull... Did you mean my inverting was dull?

Yes I did. The black on the wings is suppost to be there because they're really dark there.

I magnified the image and used the lines on MS Paint and darked the color every time I moved down to the next pixle. It's actually very easy but it takes time.

Impressive as overshading gets, but overshading's not so great on it's own. =/

Nice.
The overshading looks more like something off a 3D Pokemon game screenshot.

Try overshading backgrounds. That'll be cooler!

Meh, there nothing special. Specially the inverted ones, they arent anything other then the opposite, which you got by clicking a button. Other then that the shading was pretty good, though the stomach is a bit too dark, make it lighter. and make some of the outlines darker.

Overshading makes lugia look very 3D. It kinda looks watery though.

The Overshade makes it look like the light source is directly from the top, even though it looks like normal when magnified. Try to use less shades, like about seven. When I overshade, I end up doing alot of adding and rounding.
Also, outlines should be one pixel thick.
When you invert, you might want to make the shading correct. It ends up being more of a recolour, but otherwise, inverting is pointless.
And could you please update a bit?

There's an outline! If you magnified the image you'll see it.

More sprites... XX; *dies*

Bulbasaur lovers will love what I've done.

I like bulbasaur - but quite frankly not these sprites. When you outline, it needs to be visible, which, even if you don't use black, means having a significantly darker color outline. The shading is extremely flat - and it doesn't look very good. They're alright I guess...

That's like asking why you should read the rules. >_>;; Or asking why you should read the first post of threads, like the announcements said. :p

On topic, the sprites are pretty good.. and err, everyone pointed out the improvements. The shading's pretty good, though some outline on some of the sprites look a little too dark / awkward. But maybe that's just me. I'm not that good with sprites anyway.

Well like everyone else said. The shades and the outline. If you going to do shades is like drawing look for a place where the light is coming. And also if you are going to shade it try to make the shades equal like the other parts. And keep the outline almost the same too, because then it will look like they are different parts instead of one sprite.

oh yeah so what if I wanted to post on Diskpuff's grim life or something I waist 4 hours of my time reading every post. Oh nah I don't think so. Only an sdiot would do that

Oh, then how did Sponge_Monkeyz get all those sprites for a part of his comics? I seriously doubt all those posts saying "Here's my Sprite!" didn't mean anything. Now, on to the sprites.

Inverting colors isn't anything much from my point of view. Yet, I commend you on that Lugia Overshade. Most of those Bulbasaur are actually very good.
