Project Mew returns and with a task for Goh to perform. The airship vehicle that they had access to must be a treasure trove of info if everything in there centers around that one pokemon. Ice Ninetails may have been far from home but the cold reception it initially gave to Ash and Goh shows its species potentially vengeful nature. That is a fair point to consider where they eventually will end up needing to draw the line, between Mew research and Mew freedom.

So was this episode foreshadowing the fact you can get Alolan Vulpix in Legends Arceus (located in current Sinnoh)?
