I just remembered that in G/S/C, If you trade the pokemon yellow pikachu over, you get a light bulb. Is the light bulb the same item as light ball with a different name? Does it have the same effects?

Actually, it was a light ball in GSC, so it is the same item.

same item no difference but if he said light bulb then if he translated it it might be the correct translation
