Pikachu's Thrilling Blooper Award

While heading towards Dendemille Town, Ash & co. meet an old man who is enamoured with the Pikachu species. As he's shooting a movie, he decides that Ash's Pikachu is perfect for the lead role. This makes Ash & co. all excited to see Pikachu working with the many Pikachu owned by the old man. When they go to shoot the movie, problems soon arise when it seems that there aren't enough staff to properly do the movie so Ash & co. step in. Will the movie be a success?

Edit: So this episode is containing those 4 different sections. Two sections prior to the break, and the other two after the break.. Okay..

loved the actual movieness of it, with everyone doing voice acting :p and the Hawlucha as the stuntdouble was genius, gotta give props to the writers for that one, seeing the preview we all thought that was actually Ash's Pikachu...

This was actually the best Pikachu-centered episode I've seen, loved everything about it, doing the bloopers at the end was hilarious

Also, I wonder if Ash and co gave the director the idea for the villain Pikachus to "blast off again"

absolute genius, I give the writers full credit for an amazing episode, really hope they make the League episodes this awwesome...

Once again, LOVED IT!!!!

Tbh it was really entertaining. I loved seeing pokémon such as Heliolisk and Weezing helping out with the lightning and special effects, esp. Braixen who also did the make up, LOL.

Hawlucha is such a superstar, love him.

My take (no pun intended!) on this episode:

Well what can I say - this was one of the best "fun" Pokemon episodes I've seen. They showcased all of the basics needed to shoot and edit a complete film, and made it look like a fun activity. Not only that, but this episode is a perfect example of a "scene within a scene" (French: Mise-en-scène) in action.

The boatload of Pikachus everywhere was simply amazing (because hey why not milk the mascot of the Pokemon franchise to the max?). And the writers not only made a direct reference to Cosplay Pikachu from ORAS, but made them "stars" in the film, extensively incorporating them in the exciting action scenes. And of course, seeing Ash, Bonnie, and Serena helping out by doing voice acting for the various Cosplay Pikachus was awesome. Besides Ash's Pikachu helping out with its own voice acting (for Hawlucha when it was a stunt double), Hawlucha continues to show how badass he is through his role in the film - he's really been getting a lot of screentime (no pun intended!) lately and his development is making huge leaps and bounds.

Finally, the blooper reel was a nice cherry on the top - lots of funny moments to showcase during the making and shooting of the film.

Overall, I absolutely loved this episode - it was a lot of fun!

That was neat. Overall this episode was a pleasant surprise for me.

I also loved the gag reel. Serena, Bonnie & Hawlucha were adorable in it.

I didn't catch that - gonna rewatch the episode later to see it. This episode is sure going more places than I realized.

The Gazing Eye
This was a bloody great episode. Lots of great laughs and cameos from certain famous people in real life.

Now I'm excited for the next filler episode as it would seem to be like an homage to Tom and Jerry.
