The episode was on par with the worst fillers in Johto. Brock's singing made me laugh hard and I loved how Team Rocket got the last minute of the show. They haven't had that in a while.

It's somewhat sad that Red's only cameo in the anime involved Pippi from the first Pokemon manga. The scene was amusing, but considering that the manga is known for its gags, Red deserved a better role.
