Like some pokes because of anime?

Did the anime make you like some pokemon? If so, which ones? And did it make you hate some too?

One word. Munchlax. I didn't care for the thing when I heard of it. I just called it the blubbery thing. Watching it in the anime (especially the recent eps) made me like it more.

it made me like wobbufet and chimeco because they are so funny in the episodes when they come out of their pokeballs at the end of team rockets motto

The anime has changed my view on many things. The biggest, in regards to Pokemon, is Corphish.

oh, f*** yeah. Heigani would've probably gone unnoticed if Satoshi hadn't got it and it had such a funny persona.

The Kimori line, at first, I just kinda saw as just another starter, admittedly. I mean, it seemed a bit interesting, when the starters were first announced, that Kimori was breaking the mold of basic starters looking sickeningly cute, but that was about it. But it was Satoshi's sole specimen making it look a lot cooler than the game and Sugimori art led on. And I was anticipating an evolution for this guy since day one, so of course, I took notice of its evolutions as well and looked forward to their appearance, which Satoshi's again succeeded in making look cooler, thus, I grew to like the entire line.

If Sounansu wasn't there.... well, assuming it'd still be a popular Pokemon in Japan, I probably would've noticed it eventually when it ended up getting its own pre-evolution, and probably stumble upon the fact that it makes a pun in Japanese (much like how I learned of Usokkii's pun, even though it's not seen near as much as Sounansu). I probably also would've ended up taking note of it for its moveset, which I found a bit off considering every other Pokemon is capable of learning at least one directly offensive technique, even the cocoons when they evolve from the worms (on that note, I find Danbaru to be a pretty interesting Pokemon since its only move damages itself, which would make it quite a challenge simply to go around slaughtering wild Pokemon). Though, Metamon could be an exception if you happen to put it against an opponent that can't attack. But anyway, before Musashi got it, I really didn't pay heed to this Pokemon, nor did I know of its limited moveset.

There are a few Pokemon that I've come to like because of the anime. Probably the latest is Bonsly. I don't know why I like it now; maybe because its debut episode had such great animation, maybe it's because it's actually funny from time to time, or maybe just because [SPOIL]it's Brock's[/SPOIL]. Whatever the reason, though, the anime made me like it, and since I haven't heard its "nails-on-a-chalkboard-ish" voice, I've no complaints about the little guy.

Another one is the Treeko line, for many of the reasons Yamato-san stated. I can also honestly say that if it weren't for the anime, I wouldn't have even noticed the Lotad line, Torkoal, or the Snorunt line, who were all great Pokemon during their time on the main team.

But sadly, there are Pokemon that I've grown to hate because of the show as well. I'd say that category is mostly populated by Charizard, Togepi, Squirtle, Milotic, and unfortunately, Pikachu. Mostly because they're either overused or annoying.
