Unlike most of my other pics, this one I've devoted some serious amount of hours trying to get straight so far. I've hit a few snags, such as those braids that took me FOREVER to get right, and with all the erasing I did, I had to trace it over to a new piece of paper because it turned up looking all smudged up. Then it was thinning out the lines that took me another long while, and just earlier it GOT STAINED. So NOW I have to RETRACE it. Originally it started as a rip-off of the pose in this pic by Kaiviti (since I liked it and needed to try a less static pose than the ones I normally do, and I learn through mimicry). I guess it still is, since it's not that far off from it. :/

XD, sounds like you had a really hard time making this picture.

Well, I would say it paid off, it looks like an official piece of work now, I can imagine how hard the straight lines were, and those braids...*shudders*

Anyway, great work!

I can't really point anything wrong with it, the expression is great as well as the pose, and I'm pretty sure you don't want to shade in pencil considering you took most of your time getting the lines straight.

I could suggest (if you have a good pain program), to colour it on the computer, if you are good with computer colouring and using the pen tool.

That’s just a little extra thing to do if you ever get bored though XD

Well done and keep up the good work

That's awesome. The lines are so smooth and the proportions are excellent. I envy anyone who can draw a proportional human body.

Agreed, like people have already said it's very smooth and very acurate with proportions (unlike most of my work :p). I can't wait to see it colored, it's going to look amazing.

Oh sure, laugh at my misfortune. D: lol. I'm actually STILL working on fixing some of the lines now that I retraced it. *Never satisfied* I've actually never taken the time to try computer coloring; I use my set of colored pencils to death for that. I probably should try it sometime, if I can find a program and it doesn't take too long to download with my dial-up connection and all.

It helps when I use myself as a test subject to get all the proportions right (sure I don't have the right gender, but there's enough similarities between genders for it to work ;p).

Anyways, thanks for the comments. <3 I'll try to get this done as soon as I can.

The thing that I really like about that picture is the cleaness of it.
