if u go to the place u find hms, then if u open a chest that used to have an hm, and you still have it, it will be a link cable instead

where ever you got an HM in a dungeon instead of the HM it will be a link cable. and yes you can evolve the pokes like that. well the ones that use the link cable.

I get the link cable from wyvern hill 30F (you need a key) but thats where I train because on floors 25-30 there are dragonite who give out 709 exp so thas helpful plus the link cable :)
