Linspire from CD

Hopefully someone can answer this.

From the Linspire site, I downloaded the linspire Linux .iso file. I burned it to disk corrently. But, when I go to boot Linspire from the CD, the screen turns black and restarts. Then it goes back to the menu asking me to boot Linspire, I press enter, and it restarts. It never loads Linux, just the menu, enter, restart, menu, enter, restart (and so on). Can someone help?

And you get no error messages of any kind?

Perhaps there's something it doesn't like about your hardware. At the screen where it asks you to press enter, does it give you any other options? If so, what are they? (Press F1 for more options, etc)

The Compaq logo comes up, then a purple menu comes up. It has 2 options. Boot Linspire from CD (something like that) and ADVANCED Options. When I press enter on Boot Linsptre, it restarts the computer. Advanced options doesn't really help me much.

When the Comapq logo comes up, I can go to the BIOS. I changed the Primamry boot up or 1st or whatever to CD-ROM, and Linspire still didn't load.

What advanced options are available? It sounds like you're doing everything right and something's just not working. It's possible there's a flag you could set that might help.
