I remember listening to the radio in my Silver version and running into some random stuff on it.

What's the weirdest thing that you've ever heard radio wise in Gold, Silver or Crystal?

What I heard was something from Professor Oak's Pokémon talk that had me going, what the heck? o_O

The weird sounds on the radio in the Ruins of Alph are pretty strange I must admit. Also the signal transmitted from Team Rocket's hideout is kinda creepy (the one at Lake of Rage).

The show "Places and People" had some pretty strange stuff on it, e.g. "Route 11 is cute" (how?) and "Leader Pryce is just my type." O__o

That's why I loved Places and People. I loved how the announcer would say quirky things like that. I preferred Oak's Pokemon Talk over Places and People, but I still listened to it sometimes. Anyway, I liked listening to the radio in G/S/C. The music was often soothing, and I liked the programs since they were often very informative.

Rocket Radio Transmission scared the hell out of me the first time.
I thought they took over the world and were coming after me

Haha, I remember Professor Oak's Pokemon talk, it is so weird. What's the point of it? I never understood it...so random...

I actually liked it a lot. I remember how I would waste so much time listening to it, just to see which Pokemon were mentioned. If a Pokemon I really liked was talked about, I got super excited.

And speaking of weird, I heard the strangest thing ever on "Places and People" the other day: "Route 14 is too picky!"
It doesn't make any sense...!

I love how Oak just burst out of nowhere with something like: "MAGIKARP ARE FOUND IN WATER" on the talk show none-stop. XD

Lol I love the Pokemon talk and the Places and People shows. My brother and I used to play our Silver and Gold versions and listen to the radio together and read each other the random stuff they said on there. xD

Oh gosh, um... I'd have to say the Radio Tower takeover freaked me out the first time. I don't believe you got a phone call after beating Pryce in G/S/C, so you had to discover it on your own. And once I did, I went "Holy cow, what happened?!" and hurried north to Goldenrod.

I hated Oak's talk show, Mary cutting in to give her own remarks was annoying >_>. And the Place and People show... uh... wha?

And like what everyone else said: Ruins of Alph. Just Ruins of Alph.
