Listing of Pokémon appearance rates/levels?

Hi, I'm new here.

I'm looking for a listing of what locations Pokémon appear in, the levels at which they appear, and the rate at which they appear. I remember Pokémon Forever used to list this information, but apparently the webmaster lost all interest in Pokémon and decided to take down all of that useful information. Does anyone know of a place where I can find this?

Thanks in advance for your help! I'm not quite an expert, but I'll try to help and chime in when I can.

Why do you ask for every pokemon? Ask for which ones you need and that's it. Levels of a wild pokemon make no sense, try to get the one with the lowest level and start training it. And, the pokedex in the main site tells that where can you find them in which game and such.

I asked for every Pokémon because, generally speaking, you want a Pokédex to cover every Pokémon. I am looking for specific numbers such as the frequency percentage of what Pokémon appears where because I appreciate that kind of precision. A 10% encounter rate and a 2% encounter rate makes a big difference that a simple "rare" doesn't cover.

Levels of a wild pokemon make no sense, try to get the one with the lowest level and start training it.

That's exactly why I was interested in levels...

Anyway, thanks Kuratosu, this site seems to be just what I was looking for. ;224;

there's really no purpose in catching things at the lowest possible level. contrary to popular belief, it does not make it have better stats. the only difference is the moves it learns, but you can just make it relearn whatever you want it to know with the guy in fallarbor anyway.

There is a purpose in catching things at the lowest level possible. In unison to popular beief, it does give you more time to EV train it.

no, it doesn't. take a level 5 poochyena, and a level 25 one. have them both beat 50 shuppet, the level 25 one holding a macho brace and the level 5 one using exp share to get EVs from something else KOing them, because it's too weak and can only use tackle.

unless i'm wrong, the level 25 one ends up with 25 levels + 2X experience, and 100 EVs, and the level 5 one ends up with 5 levels + X experience, and 50 EVs. which one wins? which would you rather have, all else being equal?

Meowth346 was a fool to think he could just remove his information from the internet and it'd be gone. ;)

Haha, I've tried that, but it only goes so far--I can't get it to recall specific Pokédex entries.

However, you CAN use archive.org to access the pages of lists of each area, what Pokemon are in that area, what levels, the percentages, etc. Not great if you're looking for a specific Pokemon's whereabouts, but it's helpful if you're trying to find info about a specific area.

Yes, that is very helpful! I relied on those a lot back in the day. Thanks for the tip.
