Training pokemon is easy. Fight a pokemon, and win against it, and you will gain exp.

Using random smilies is also against the rules, which I'd advise you to please read.

If you really didn't know how to train Pokemon at all, chuboy told you everything you need to know, but otherwise you'll need to be a little more specific. Which Pokemon are you training, what levels are they, and what point of the game are you at? Otherwise we can't give you any more detailed answers.

when you start the game shouldn't it tell you?

you just well battle pokemon that are in the grass.

EV train up, then rare candy all the way.

Or, if the pokemon's fairly low level, equip it with Exp. Share and fight the Elite Four.

Unless you haven't gotten that far yet, in which case just about any trainer you haven't battled yet will do.

Max out EVs and use Rare Candies, like Carpetted! just said. If you lack Rare Candies, there's always the Southern Edge of Seven Island if you want to train up, for good measure.

I always train at seven island.VS seeker the trainers on seven island.After you find the sapphire,their levels will be up to L51-56.You can also train by beating the elite 4.They get stronger after you fixed the network machine.(max out your EVs first)

Okay first of all don't use so many smilies next time. I did that the first time i ever posted a thread and some girl chewed my but out about it and i threatned her by telling her i'd send a tsunami of smilies to her computer. It was funny.
And to train pokemon....well the easiest thing to do is battle and if you are far in
the game you can give it exp. share and beat elite four with major strong pokemon.
