New York - ???

Underneath the city of New York, the seven discussed...
They sat around a round table and their faces covered from the darkness around them. A single light flickered above them, barely shedding any light upon them.

"Did you see the papers? The city is beginning to plunge into chaos." said a posh voice. Another chuckled beside him.

"Yeah, absolute madness. Running from the problem like a squealing pig!" said the voice, laughing out loud this time with and insane tone.

"Will you shut up! I say we can't be too careful. They may catch on to us." said a nervous third voice.

"Oh I have to disagree. Its only a matter of time before we flush out every person from the streets and out of New York. Any left will be "dealt with" by our creations." said a fourth, an obvious female. A gruth and hard voiced talked next.

"I say we should have massed produced and gotten it done and done with ages ago instead of wasting our time here waiting!" he said angrily.

"That would be stupid. Our cover would have been blown and our plans ruined. Things can be solved with more than just fists." said a mono tone sixth voice. The fifth growled at him.

"Wanna prove that theory now?" he asked. A fist was slammed against the table, the seventh person finally getting his say.

"ENOUGH! You sicken me sometimes. We have a plot and plan to follow and you fight like mere children!" said the seventh, this voice cold and emotionless. There was a silence before the seventh talked.

"Moved fast or waited, it is clear our creations are doing exactly what we wanted. They are causing people to flee and spreading more fear throughout the city. We will make our move when the time is right. Once the very last have moved away, we shall begin part two and begin to use the city for our own needs. Agreed?" there was another silence before they said "agreed" together.
"Good. Do not let me down." finished the seventh.

Sora Wiaki
New York City - Southern Area

Sora looked out of the window, the rain pouring down hard and the wind blowing feriously outside. She sighed and leaned back on her chair, looking up at her blue ceiling. It had been a quite day with nothing happening. Mum and dad had been packing up the living room for the moving. Sora was sick of moving. Everytime she gotten used to something she had to move and get used to another place. She kicked her desk leg in frustration from thinking about.

She looked out the window again. She had been lonely again today, but then again she always seemed to be alone. She never communicated with anyone at school and her parents always seemed to be working. She needed to get her mind of it before she cried. She looked into one of her draws where she would jus chuck anything into. After looking for a few minutes she came across a black book, its edges scuffed an bent from age an on the front it read "My Adventures". Curiously she opened it pages and began to scim the pages. She put her hand to her mouth in amazement and laugh slightly. She had wrote this around when she was seven.

On one of the pages was a drawing, its colours slightly faded. A women stood there, holding hands with a younger Sora. She smiled again as she recalled her name. She had called the figure Aurora if she remembered right. Throughout the book she read of the small adventures she had written about them. They made her feel warm inside, something she hadn't felt like in days. On the last page was Aurora again in her full robes and crooked hat, her blue lips in smile. At the bottom of the page it said "Aurora + Sora - Best Friends Forever". She put the book down as it brought up some memories. She weeped abit on her desk. She remembered how Aurora in her mind had made her feel better. Even when had been moving it always seemed like someone was at her side. It seemed as time had made her fall into the background. She wiped a tear and looked back out into the window.

"Please God.... I don't wanna be alone anymore." she whispered to herself in an attempt to feel better, As she lay there on her desk, she noticed the tear that had been on her face was...frozen. She got up and looked out the window. It was raining still but she noticed the frost slowly creeping its way up the window. In puzzlement she looked around. Nothing was there as she had hoped. Then she was able to see her own breath and chill of a cold wind went down her spine. This was unusual for her as she was usually good with handling cold weather. She began to get scared at this unatural weather.
"W-whats happening?" she said scared, feeling alone more than ever. A wind swirled in front of her, taking a form of some kind. More wind whipped up and joined the form, making it take shape.

It had thin legs and robes in a blue and white.
Could it be?
On her feet and waist was a pair of crystal sandles and belt.
Its impossible
A hat appeared on its head, bent and a small bell hanging from it, making a little tingle.
No... this can't be!
Face features appeared of a woman, crystal clear eyes and blue lips and white hair fell down her shoulders, her breath cold.
I-I-It is.

The wind stopped and the female had fully appeared in Sora's room. It was amazing to her and scary at the same time. The figure stood straight for a minute before she lifted up her head and opened her eyes. She took a straight look into Sora's eyes, smiling slightly before she fainted and fell foward. Sora rushed to her, supporting her as she lay across her shoulders. She was heavy and quite taller than Sora. With abit of effort needed, she lay the figure on her bed, her breath still cold even as she lay there. Sora sat on her chair not knowing what to think of what happened.

"I can't believe it. It is you Aurora it really is....but how?"

P.S. Try and keep with the current weather for now.

Tony Ronoth
New York City - Manhatten shopping district

Its a dark and rainy day In New York City. Tony is sitting at a small table at the bookstore's starbucks. He looks at the rain quickly spattering the nearby window. He remains staring for a very long time. Thinking of his life..... How it rewarded....And tortured him. He finally sighs and glances down at his notepad. It depicts a detailed sketch of a man in armor in between a murderer and his viticm. A sign of protection. He grabs his pencil and begins shading his sketch. Only minutes later he finshes. He sighs as he sips his cappucino. Standing up Tony walks over to get a news paper. He stops abruptly with a disturbed look as he notices the headline. "City plunges into chaos!" he quickly returns to his seat, wondering why he felt so disturbed.

"That day........." He then starts rubbing his forhead in deep thought.
"That day..... The gauntlet...... I can protect people...But i'm confused..." With one last sigh he abruptly stands up gathering his note pad and placing it in his jacket pocket then he walks down the steps passed the many isles of books and out the store. He looks up at the rain, and can feel that somethings going to happen. Something big......

Michaela "Tarah" DeAlister
New York-Somewhere in New York

Michaela was walking around New York like she had no where to go. It's true. She HAD no where to go. She saw this GIGANTIC shopping center. "Wow." Michaela was speechless. She went inside it.

"That was long!" Michaela huffed. She didn't buy anything, but she did enjoy herself! Michaela then walked home. She hopped on the computer and began to type her report for school. "Dunes are blah, blah. They are blah to blah blah feet blah blah BLAH!" Michaela began to bang her head on the table. "I hate this report!"

"Finally. It's finshed." Michaela held up the report and stared at it in awe. "I wish Samantha was here to help me out with it." After she said that, Samantha DID appear. "Wow! As easy as said as done!" Reoth gave Michaela a look. "Tarah..." Reoth started. "What have you been up to?" Michaela didn't blink for two minutes. "Nothin' much. You?" Reoth smiled. "Why am I here?" Reoth asked. "Runny story, Reoth." Michaela began. She never finished.

Folds of memories began to unraval in Kamane's heart as the priest recite the life of his Aunt Kasa, fifty-eight years old. She had been smokingfor twenty years; a habit she had not being able to quit. He remembered how he made an effort to avoid her as much as possible as a child; her voice was hoarse, her face was dreadful and her fingers were of a sickly yellow. After eight years, looks did not matter as much now to him, simply because Aunt Kasa was such a lovely lady herself. But now she was gone. Had she quitted earlier, she would've been here much longer. But the past was past, nothing he nor his father could do.

The grass was still wet; residue from the rain a few moments ago. Kamane liked rain, even though most people would tend to find the weather depressing. He was fond of the constant pit a tat tat on the window, as he felt more relaxed in the repeating taps. The funeral ended a moments later, and the group disbanded. Several people cried, and even he himself shed a tear as well which he just noticed.

Several days passed slowly, which reminded Kamane that he still need to work on his writing assignment, which was to write a three page fiction story. He stared blankly on his paper. These days, he had been on fire with his ideas and it was not long till he finished outlining the plot-now if only he had motivation. The deadline was far. Dad had business to do. Wincy was on a trip and Michael was grounded. The awkward silence and sudden lonliness was unbearable. If only....

Just then, he heard singing.

New York- somewhere as I'm not familure with it XD

It was all her little brothers fault. It just had to be. She tried to reason to herself it couldn't be, it was her fault too after all. She hadn't made sure to pack her books. All her books. Which meant one had been left behind. Her favorite. Her first one. It was the book she treasured over all of them.

So of course, like a mother hen she had turned back, going to get her wayward book. And look where retriving the errant thing had gotten her. Stuck on her own, her family must have thought she was curled up in the back of the van with a book. Quiet as a mouse. But all wasn't lost, she knew where they were going. Or atleast she remembered the last place her parents had talked about.

chewing on her lower lip and hugging her book, Rally quickly hurried down the sidewalk, trying to not focus on how quiet it was right now, or how the clouds above thundered and threatened to rain. She had to keep moving.

And now, now it was a run for her life. The rain pelted down, chilling her to the bone. She feared her book was ruined beyind repair as she clutched it to her chest. And behind her ran several somethings. But not monsters. In the hides in your closet sense. But modern day ones; some punk gangsters that hadn't moved out of their territory yet. And they saw Rally as fair game.

All she could do was run.

And all she could do was fail at it, as her body, protesting all this activity cramped up, causing the young woman to hiss in pain as she was forced to stop and double over.

Fear seared her as she pulled herself upright, eyes wide at the older teenagers as they came to a stop, saying things Rally didn't want to make out. Silently she cried out for help, wishing in vain for it to come, and her mind latched onto an old thought. But surely, that made up being couldn't help her. But stubbornly her will to survive clung to it. A knight in shining armor or a monster would be perfered over the beastly teenagers before her with their threats of violence. Whimpering she held her book up like it would protect her, so she never saw what happened next. Between herself and the trio of teenagers, darkness and shadows gathered, started to build up and grow to a hieght of five feet. The leader of the gang halted, his eyes growing wide from fear as his two lackies stared on, stunned.

Though they ran away screaming once the creature revealed itself with a roar.

Rally thought she might faint at that sound, and almost did, when something poked her, then carefully pulled the book down. M-m-monster! Rally silently mouthed and shoved the book back into place. She heard a growl and some sounds of shifting before once more the book was pulled down, revealing a more human like being, but the same ice cold blue eyes. His hair looked like blood strung into fiber and stiched into place. He was also short and...

".. did .. did you .. did you know you're naked?" Rally squeaked out, almost to scared to speak.

The figure blinked, glanced down at himself and shrugged, "Doesn't matter, and what are you doing out here Rally? I thought you were smarter than going out and getting your neck stretched out to be sliced off."

Rally blinked, and then a memory was tugged, and she stuttered a moment. "Az.. Azrael? But .. how?" Rally was shocked and confused, thus easily herded off by the shorter winged being. "Don't know, don't care. But it's raining and I hate wet wings and hair, don't you?"

ooc: I hope this was alright- and Azrael will have pants in the next post XD

Kage Mugendai
New York City- Southern Area

Kage lie down on his bed with his arms behind his head, looking out his window with a calm look on his face. His eyes reflected no emotion at all except for shear boredom as he watched the rain coming down in sheets. After just seconds of this, a bolt of lightening lit up his bedroom. The boy merely sighed and counted off two seconds before the sound of crashing thunder rang through the air. Blinking once, he quickly pushed himself back up to his feet and walked over to his bedroom window. Looking up at the dark-gray clouds filling most of the skies above, he awaited the next bolt of lightening to strike.

Glancing back at the door to his room, Kage heard the sounds of his mom, as well as a few of his aunts and uncles, packing up all of his belongings into boxes. Yes...it wouldn't be long before Kage and his mother would no longer be residents of New York City. In just days the two of them would get into a U-Haul truck and drive away from the metropolis that was the Big Apple itself...and all of the murders which lie within it. As far as Kage was concerned, though, they were just fleeing...running away like cowards.

<I guess this is what it comes down to, Kogane... > Kage shrugged, turning his head to look directly into the sheets of rain once more. <It's gotten so bad that we're being forced to run. I can defend myself, but mom, can't...I guess we've got no choice but to flee. >

"There's always a choice, Kage..." Surprisingly, Kage's thoughts were answered by a nameless voice of unknown origins.

"Kogane...?" Kage asked as another bolt of electric-blue lightening lit up the otherwise darkened sky, surprisingly remaining calm.

Wait...that wasn't Kogane's voice, though Kage still remembered it all too clearly. He swung around, his arms raised in his own defense, ready to fight in case he was wrong about the voice’s origins. However, his room was vacant…just like it was before. There was nobody there; no living creatures at all, other than himself that is. Taking in a deep breath, he ran his fingers through his dark brown hair and dropped both of his strong arms to his sides.

“I guess…I didn’t get over the fact that I’m leaving my life behind.” Kage shrugged. “I’m just hearing voices, that’s all.”

“Not exactly.” That same voice rang through Kage’s very mind once more.

“Alright, who’s there?!” Kage demanded, raising his arms once more and spreading his legs a few inches apart.

Suddenly, Kage caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye. It took the form of…a faint glowing; a golden light, apparently protruding from his nightstand, which stood at his bedside. Awestricken, the young teenager made his way over to the nightstand. Reaching out with his left hand, he hesitantly opened up the drawer. He tilted his head downward, seeing…the Transmutation Circle he’d drawn shortly after Kogane’s death. It was on an ordinary white piece of paper, though the Circle itself looked like nothing Kage had ever seen. Years ago, he’d drawn the circle in black ink, but now it was glowing a magnificent golden color. Kage reached down and grasped it in his right hand, slowly bringing it up to his face.

“What the hell…?” He asked, looking down at the Transmutation Circle with great interest. “Is this…alchemy?”

“Correct, in a sense.” The voice boomed in Kage’s head yet again. “Press your hand onto the Circle…and bring me to life."

Kage thought things over for a second. Could he really trust this person? While his conscious mind told him no, his soul told him that he could trust him with his life. Listening to his gut instinct, Kage tightened his grip on the paper ever-so-slightly. Then, raising his free hand into the air, he pressed it firmly on the center of the Transmutation Circle. As soon as he did so, the light coming from the picture grew brighter and brighter until it engulfed Kage’s entire bedroom! Backing up, Kage dropped the paper and watched as it slowly floated to the ground, his eyes following its wafting motions with intense focus. Clenching his fists tightly, he glared at the spot where the Transmutation Circle lay, until the light became so bright that it actually blinded him.

It wasn’t long before the light started to die down. When it dimmed enough, Kage could make out another figure standing directly in front of him! It looked to be that of a human male about Kage’s age, though less agile and more muscular. Kage let out a deep sigh, readying himself for battle. But as the golden light died down and the person became completely visible, Kage realized that there was no reason to keep his guard up.

Standing before Kage was a teenage male, just as the boy had suspected. He wore a plain black shirt coming to a few inches below his waste with its sleeves ripped off, as well as a pair of pale blue jeans which came to his ankles, revealing just a half-inch of his white socks. His forearms were wrapped up entirely in white bandages, and though Kage couldn’t see it, he knew that on the back of his shirt was a crimson Transmutation Circle identical to the one used to bring this person into existence. A serious yet calm expression was present on his face, giving him a look of strength and valor.

“Hagane…Is that you?” Kage asked, surprisingly maintaining his calm demeanor.

“Yes.” He said simply, then all was silent once more.

“Why are you here?” Kage asked again. “And how the hell did you get here, anyway?”

“Actually, not even I’m aware of that. Though I do know of my identity, as well as yours. I also know that I was created with complete mastery over alchemy.” Hagane explained.

“You mean…like the type they use in Fullmetal Alchemist.” Kage said.

“As far as I know, yes.” Hagane shrugged, crossing his arms and leaning against one of Kage’s bedroom walls. “Still, while I know I was a product of your mind, I have no idea how I was sent to this world, or why exactly.”

“I don’t see why you would, either…I wonder if it has anything to do with all of these murders happening in New York.” Kage looked out the window once more at the city below. “Well, it doesn’t matter right now. I need to get the hell outta here if I want to see the streets of New York City again before I move. Ya wanna go to Times Square or something?”

“Whatever. Until I find out why I was put here, I have nothing better to do.” Hagane replied.

Kage walked over to a chair and picked up his crimson jacket. Throwing it on over his black T-Shirt, he realized that the red Transmutation Circle on the back of it was identical to the one on the back of Hagane’s shirt. Putting the thought aside for the time-being, Kage and Hagane walked to the door of the boy’s bedroom and started out toward Times Square.

The Burnt Shadow

Mac
NYC- somewhere new

IT was a dark and stormy night in city of New York. Thunder and lightning spat out of the air while rain poured heavily down as if the heavens were crying. The wind blew violently whistling a name to my ear. I kept on hearing it echo in my mind. As I continued to walk around, I found that I was in a location quite new. There were several graffiti writings, roaches and cats roamed the area. As I moved along, I heard the sound of not only rain drops but rattling chains. I was certain that I wasn't alone, but I continued to move ahead ignoring the peculiar noise.

As I moved along this night reminded me of when I created one of my most horrifying creatures. Funny it reminded me of a certain monster that was commonly feared in the Philippines. As I moved along, I heard the sound of something swiftly pass by on the rooftops. I then also heard the sound of the rattling chains grow louder. I stopped right on my spot and looked around for whomever was stalking me. Three thugs appeared out of the wet shadows, all wearing the street rapper clothes. One was holding a chain, another a pipe and another was just weaponless.

"Hey kid you lost?" the thug asked," maybe we could help."

"Nah I'm fine," I said as I moved ahead.

"Aw don't walk out on us now," the thug said as he spun the chain over his head," Why don't you play for a while?!"

The thug threw his chain at me, luckily I dodged qand grabbed his chain to make him come towards me. I gave him a swift punch right on his nose. Then another thug snuck behind and choked me with the pipe. I was pretty good with hand to hand combat so I bent down and flipped hom over. I panted a few times and took a few steps back. I then felt a sharp punch on my back. The two thugs picked me up and restrained me to the wall. The weaponless thug grinned as he placed a bronze knuckle on his fist. I was close to get struck down.

"STOP!" a booming voice from behind demanded.

We all turned around and saw a woman in a formal outfit glare at us. She looked rather beautiful and familiar. Her hair was golden blond, her eyes would fit perfectly in a night sky. Her skin looked smooth and fair. The thugs just laughed at her asking, what can she do? But as I looked into her eyes one name came in to mind and I slowly asked," Clair?" She nodded grimly at me.

"Hey little office baby," the thug said," We'll be with you after we finish with this twerp."

"Strike him and you'll face the concequences," Clair angrily said.

"Okay guys this chick's getting on my nerves let's deal with her first," the thug said.

The two thugs let go of me and left me on the ground. I sat on the ground panting heavily. The punch I got was so hard that I coughed out a bit of blood. Clair saw this and began to grit her teeth together. The thugs came closer, one of them grasped her arm, but she she grabbed his and threw him on one of the thugs. Her eyes began to glow a bloody red color as her hair floated around. Soon a blood red light beamed from the sky down onto her. As the beam faded she was left with an iron mask and an iron breast plate. The thug just gave chuckle, wondering what was she doing. But suddenly his chuckle transformed into a horrifying scream. Her jaw started to move out, her teeth sharpened into blades, her tonuge slowly slithered longer. Her fair skin formed out feathers, her fingers changed to blood wanting talons and her feet formed into an eagle's claws. Wings sprouted out of her back and her neck. She had transformed into the monster I drew. The thug began to walk back fearfully.

"You two get up!" the thug yelled," Trash that thing!"

The one with the chain threw his chain right at Clair's fangs. But Clair took the chains and shattered it with her teeth. She then lashed out her tongue and grabbed the thug. The thug began to scream as Clair threw the thug into a garbage dump. The other thug charged with the pipe, but Clair just sliced the pipe and flew up into the stormy sky. We weren't able to see her. But suddenly the thug with the pipe screamed as a long tongue lashed out and threw him away. Clair then landed on the puddle making a big splash. Fumes of smoke puffed out of her mask as she snarled at the leader. The leader just gave a scream as he ran away. Clair then marched up to me.

"You okay?" she asked in her normal voice.

"Yeah," I said holding my arm," I never thought you would be real."

"I was real from the day you created me," Clair answered.

"But how?" I asked...

Shinigami...
Tory Valentine
Somewhere in New York (not familiar with it)

She found herself at the park again, where Tory and her spent most of their time playing. Again their father was in work and the weekend had approached, he would be home tonight around seven as he normally was and Tory would be starting dinner again with Jessica near by watching her with interest sparked in her eyes. But from now until half six, the time was theirs to spend as they wanted.

Tory rolled the wheelchair to the middle of the park, where everything was clear and they were out of the prying eyes of those who played on the swings a few meters away. Tory was use to having no social life for most of her time had to be spent with Jessica, making sure she was safe and out of harms way. But this also meant she was picked on a lot for having a ‘dumb’ sister. Tory didn’t care that they picked on her, but when someone insisted on taking the piss out of Jessica, she got mad.

“Okay, Jessie. Catch okay with you?” Tory asked, throwing a baseball up and down in the air.

Jessica clapped her hands and giggled madly, nodding her head.

Tory smiled and threw the ball gently to the other, who caught it with clumsy hands and threw it back.

Tory was forced to run a meter to catch the ball that had been thrown of track. But she was use to it, and she wasn’t one to blame her sister for throwing the ball of track.

This continued for sometime. The ball had been dropped a few times be both participates, but still they laughed about it. Tory may have been stressed looking after her ill sister, but she still loved her with all her heart and wouldn’t trade her for the world.

Suddenly the ball was taken out of the air and in to the grimy hands of Christopher- Lee. It was something Tory was use to be now, but her annoyance always got the better of her. She held out her hand, demanding the ball back. Her eyes were bored, but the temper was evident.

“Give it back.” She hissed through clenched teeth.

“I think not. I mean, the poor ball is being thrown between a freak and a retard. I have to feel sorry for it.” Chris drawled, throwing the ball to one of his mates that stood not far from him.

Growling, Tory made her way forward and tackled the annoying youth to the ground. She began punching his head back and forth, back and forth until she was lifted from the body and thrown to the ground near by.

Chris stumbled onto his feet and gave her body one harsh kick to the side before taking the ball back from the boy and throwing it as far as he could. To her dismay is landed in the branches of a tree that stood a few feet from her.

She pried her gaze from the tree and glared hatefully back at Chris who was backing away slowly.

“You’re a Freak, Valentine. A weirdo. A loony. I feel sorry for whoever you end up with in the future.” And with that he took off from the scene, cradling his swollen face in his hands.

Tory had some difficulty getting to her feet and immediately clenched her side in pain.

“You, okay?” Jessica mumbled from her wheelchair and the worry was evident in her gaze. She was not stupid and naive to the fact of what pain and suffering was. She knew when others were sad or happy. Her emotions were in tact, but her ability to move and think properly was a little askew.

Tory nodded, giving her younger sister a nod of reassurance. “I’m fine, Jessie. Ill just go and get the ball and we can go home, okay.”

Jessica nodded and waited patiently for Tory to return with her favourite ball.

Tory trudged miserably up to the tree she knew the ball to be trapped in, and clutched the bark tightly with her finger nails, before awkwardly pulling herself up onto the lowest branch. This was indeed going to be painful for her, what with her side and all. But her sister’s favourite ball was lying up in the tree somewhere, and she couldn’t disappoint Jessica and return empty handed.

So, she awkwardly lifted herself up another branch and stopped to take a breath before continuing on up. But as she reached the fourth branch of the tree, she noticed that the ball she had been looking for was being presented to her by another hand. Slowly she looked up to take a glance at the one who had found the ball for her, and was startled to find that this was no man at all.

In her statement she jerked backwards and found herself stumbling from her perch in the tree. She fell for what seemed like an eternity before a pair of strong arms wrapped their way around her waste and drew her against a powerful chest. She was slowly escorted back to the ground and nestled safely onto her feet.

“That was a close one, Tory.”

“Your…”

“Chase, I think you called me, was it not?”

Tory nodded in wonderment and a smile slowly spread on her face.

“Now, shall we make our way home?” The tall, golden winged male asked, offering her his arm to clutch.

Tory gingerly accepted and they made their way over to where Jessica sat in wait of her return. She immediately clapped her hands as the ball was handed back to her by Tory and she was turned in her wheelchair by Chase, who gave Tory a smile and began to bush her little sister home.

This was defiantly unbelievable.

The rain seemed to swirl around Tony's head and he started to panic. "Someone needs help!!!" He thought to himself as he started running through the rain. There was many times when he almost tripped or fell, but he still kept running. Something..... Some unknown force.... Was calling him. But where? His feet seemed to move rhythmatically as he trudged on, passed the street vendors and sometimes through busy streets. Finally he could feel it. Right around a corner. Eyes widening and heart racing he shakingly looked around the corner. His arms fell to his sides in horror and amazement. A murderer going to kill its victim. He picked out the picture from his pocket and looked. They were the same. But something was missing...... Wheres the protection?... No one to help.... He stood there as the blade started moving. "Thwoom!" A tower of green energy came out of the ground inbetween them. Tony Ronoth stepped back in awe as something started to materialize. "Clank!" A suit of armor appeared completing the image.

Completely mortified the murderer swings in terror at the armor.
"clank!" The blade reflects off the magnificent armor and flew into a dumpster.

"Please stop." The armor says blankly as its gautlet deattaches at starts to lift him into the air by the throat. He sits and watches the life drain out of the murderer. "Its not worth it......" The armor throws the unconsious man to the side and walks to Tony.

"Hello Ronoth" The armor states with a happy tone.
Tony looks at the armor with surprise. But then a smirk appears.
"Hello Htonor" Replies Ronoth.

Somewhere in New York

"All right Roland, I'll be back from Price Chopper in about half an hour. Remeber, you're not allowed to leave the house. If you need me, call my cell phone."

The door slammed shut, leaving Roland alone in their apartment building on the second floor. "Well, what to do, what to do..." Roland reclined in the rocker in the living room, bored out of his mind.

"I wish I could go to the park. It seems like ever since the stories started about monsters, Mom won't let me go anywhere. And everyone's gone, too. Luke's left, and Tyler, and Justin..."

Not for the first time, Roland fervently wished his make-balieve friend, Mark, was here. He would drive away the "monsters", and bring back his friends. Everything would be good if Mark was here...

Roland got up from the rocking chair and walked over to the window, where he could see the rain pouring down, making little trails down the window, little paths of water. Roland's eye was caught suddenly by something unexpected in the window reflection. It was faint, but he could see a dull, golden glow, slowly growing bigger. As roland watched in amazement, the glow solidified, morphing into a distinct shape.

It was a man, with what looked like wings on his back. Color began to seep into the gold, illuminating it, bringing white to the man's robes and wings, and coloring his round helmet a dull silver. Finally, the man's hair turned a brilliant gold, and spilled down to his shoulders. A rod of golden light solidified into a silver staff in the man's hand.

Shivering despite the temperature in the house, Roland turned to face the man of light. "M-Mark?"

Michaela "Tarah" DeAlister
New York City-Advertisement Studio

Michaela took her dog out for a walk for an hour. "Oh, gosh! Wonder what time it is..." Michaela looked at her watch. "Ohmigosh!" Michaela gasped. "I totally forgot about it!" What could "it" posibly be? Michaela stormed inside her house. "What to wear?! What to wear?! WHAT TO WEAR?!!" Michaela grabbed a pink dress along with black heels. In five minutes, she was dressed. Then, it only took her ten minutes to get her make-up on. "I'm going to be late!" Michaela grabbed her purse and her dog and was out the door.

"Phew!" Michaela put her hand on her head. "I'm not late!" What could possibly be going on for Michaela to be in a rush for? "I thought I was late!" Michaela was waiting impatiently in front of a building. Finally, a young girl walked out of the building's door wearing a black velvet mini-skirt with a silver shiny tank top. "Sorry I'm late," The girl answered. "I, like, totally forgot." Michaela patted the girl's head. "Don't worry! I almost forgot, too!"

The girls were almost late for...an advertisement being filmed? They were supposed to be the people introducing the product being advertised. Well, after that was done, the girls walked back to their apartments. "I wish Samantha was here to be part of that advertisement, instead of Clairyssa." Right then, Samantha appeared right before Michaela's eyes. "Can you stop doing that?!" Reoth smiled. "How can I?" Michaela was confused.

Danica Miller
New York City – Northeast Area

A young girl sat in her room, looking at the computer screen, her fingers moving quickly over the keys. It was odd. Some days when she would type her novel, ideas would just pour out of her head. Luckily, today was one of those days. Suddenly, she stopped typing, a smile creeping along her face. It was a smile of accomplishment.

“Finally…chapter 15 completed.” The young girl stood happily and walked over to the middle of her room. “Danica, you’ve outdone yourself again! Another chapter for…” Then her smile disappeared. Her eyes glanced over at the window, raining pouring like sheets out of the sky. “Yeah, yeah, go ahead and rain on my parade stupid clouds.” Danica sat down on the edge of her bed looking out the window.

Many people walked along the streets, going to wherever their destination may be. Danica sometimes wished she had a destination in mind for herself, something that would push her forward in life. And yet…it seemed whoever got close to her was hurt…or killed.

That’s what happened to Amy…

No. Danica refused to think about that. It would only cause her feelings to open and that was something that Danica refused to show, no matter the situation. That may have been a good idea go visit her…even in the rain, Amy was a vibrant spirit. Even though she was gone…her soul lived on in Danica and always would.

The girl looked down to her left wrist and the watch that was placed there. It was a simple watch, not all expensive in the least and even included six fake diamonds. But it was more than just a cheap watch to Danica. It represented Amy and everything that Amy had done for her.

But it was also a constant reminder of Danica’s burden of Amy’s death.

That was when the visions came. Amy, lying there bleeding in the alley, no one helping her. Danica being frozen, letting Amy’s killer get away. Danica holding up Amy’s head in her lap, telling her everything would be alright. But…that was when Amy smiled and closed her eyes forever, dying there in Danica’s arms.

“No…NO!!!” Danica screamed, falling to her floor, pounding the wooden ground angrily. “Damn it…I should’ve been the one to die! Not you! It should’ve been me! Me, damn it!!”

The girl buried her face in her arm, tears rolling from her eyes freely. Her brown hair covered her face, hiding her face from the outside world. She didn’t realize it when her blue notebook’s pages began flipping at a fast rate, quicker and quicker by each passing second. A swirling wind was thrust outward from the book, catching Danica’s attention. Wiping a few remaining tears from her face, she turned and looked at the book, the girl almost frightened about what was happening. However…Danica was more amazed.

Suddenly, it seemed as if the letters on the page came off, swirling in the whirlwind, forming a vortex. That was when it started to take a human shape. First came the legs, darkened skin with sandals appeared and then dark blue kimono pants. The light blue kimono top was the next to appear, wrapping around a thin body structure. A bow appeared in the person’s hand, along with a sword in a sheath on her belt. Then the face appeared. Light blue eyes stared back at Danica as the last features of the person appeared. Her long black hair flowed down, blowing in the wind of the book.

And then, it was over.

The book calmed down and Danica realized who she was staring at. “T-That’s……that’s Raine. From my novel…” She thought.

Suddenly the figure started to fall forward, obviously not fully conscious in this world yet. Danica ran up and caught her before she hit the ground, the girl being glad she was good with her speed.

The figure’s eyes fluttered open and a small smile appeared on her face. “Thank you, Danica. I needed that…”

The girl simply shook her head. “No, no. I wanted to help. Please…tell me your name.”

The person shook her head. “No need to Danica. You know who I am. I am Raine. Raine Ruincho, at your service.” She smiled again. “And don’t worry about your friend, Amy. I’m sure she’s here with you…always.” With that, Raine collapsed from exhaustion.

Danica lifted the girl to her bed, looking at her with such content. It was now that the girl was glad she was specific when describing Raine. It could’ve turned out much worse…but what was perplexing Danica was why Raine had appeared. And how she was so real.

No. 1
Underground New York - ???

The man walked on, his mind in thought. He angrily thought of his "partners" and there attitude to there plan. He knew he was better than them. He had the highest I.Q. out of them yet No. 7 was in charge. He barely got more respect than No. 2. That would change soon enough. He walked over to a machine, its features hidden within the darkness. He pulled on levers and twisted knobs. The machine sparked as it began to work. It produced howls and ghoulish screams. The area echoed with its horrible noise. Soon black objects began to emerge, moans and snarls as they appeared. They opened there red eyes, shining feriously in the darkness. They turned to the one who summoned them.

"You know what to do. Now go do it." ordered No. 1 in a posh voice. They nodded and ran through the tunnels and out of sight. Another object appeared by No. 1 its green eyes focused on the mans face.

"You think you know what your doing?" it asked. No. 1 smiled.

"Of course. I'm the best out of those I call "partners"."

Sora Wiaki
New York - Home, bedroom

She nervously sat as she watched the fiigure breath, her cold breath in the air. She looked out the window, its weather beginning to clear as the sunset for the day. She didn't know what to do. Maybe she was dreaming and it was all going to be over soon. No, it couldn't be. This was all too real. The feel of her skin against hers, the weight of her falling. It was real. What would she do with her was another question.

The women suddenly stired from her sleep, opening her crystal eyes slowly, looking directly at Sora. She leaned upwards and rubbed her head, making the bell on her head tingle.
"Woah.....where am I?" she asked. Sora bravely talked back.

"Y-your in my room Aurora." she replied. Aurora stood up in curiosity.

"How do you know my name? Do you know that I'm a -"

"Witch? Yeah. You have powers over the cold and you live in valley where it snows all year long. Your very kind though you only show that to me." she explained. Aurora was abit taken back.

"Ok, how do you know so much about me?" she demanded, standing at full height. Sora smiled back at her. She was kind of funny when she was like this.

"Cause I created you. Where friends." she explained. Aurora smiled this time, her blue lips showing her white teeth.

"Sora? You've grown since I last remember you." she waved her hand and a sphere of ice appeared in her hand. With a click of her fingers, it morphed into a heart shape. She handed it to Sora who took it happily.

"I can't believe your here. This is so great." Sora said excitedly, putting the heart on the desk and hugging Aurora.

"Err careful please. Watch the robes." asked Aurora. Suddenly there was sound downstairs. They got closer as they went into the living room. A voice shouted up.

"Sora? Are you there?" the voice asked. Sora gasped, holing her hands to her face.

"Its my parents, how am I going to explain this?"

Kage Mugendai
New York City- On His Way to Times Square

Kage walked alongside his new ally, Hagane, slowly making his way toward his destination; Times Square. Glancing over at the apparent alchemist for a few brief moments, Kage tried to think of how he was brought to his dimension and why. As far as Kage himself knew, Hagane himself knew no more about this than Kage did. Still, Kage highly doubted that Hagane was pulled out of his own world and dropped into Kage’s for no reason whatsoever. There had to be more to this than originally assumed. While he had no leads at all as to the answer, Kage was all but certain that it had something to do with the murderers running about the streets of New York City. Beyond that, however, Kage was clueless. How Hagane and the murders could possibly be connected the boy had no idea.

<It seems fairly obvious that there’s something I’m missing here…I wish Hagane could shed some light on the subject, but he doesn’t know any more about all this than I do. > Kage thought. <Oh well…I’ll figure this out a little later. In the mean time, I guess I should just try to enjoy the last days I have here in New York. >

“Hagane…” Kage’s calm, confident voice finally voice the silence between the two. “…do you remember the dream where I first imagined you?”

The boy’s ally didn’t so much as say a single word, and merely nodded silently. A few seconds later, he opened his mouth to speak.

“Yes…Actually, I have a very clear memory of it. It was directly after…” Hagane paused for a moment, apparently recollecting the concept of sympathy itself. “…your cousin, Kogane, passed away.”

“Yeah…” Kage sighed, tilting his head a few degrees downward to look at the pale concrete sidewalk below his sneakers. “I attempted to create the ultimate alchemist. One who could bring my cousin back…But now…I know that’s impossible. I soon found out that Human Alchemy is a forbidden practice, and that attempting to bring him back would only succeed in creating a…”

“A Sin Homunculus. Or at least that’s the knowledge I was created with.” Hagane finished Kage’s statement as the two walked into a dark, vacant alley with Kage in the lead, taking a shortcut which Kage had previously used to get into Times Square.

“As far as I know, you’re right.” Kage shrugged, bringing his head up once more to look at the path ahead. “At least that’s what the spiritual aspect of alchemy says. But I’ve gotta say, I wasn’t really sure that form of the subject existed until a few minutes ago.”

Hagane was about to reply to Kage’s statement, when the boy stopped in his tracks abruptly. Sticking his arm straight out in front of Hagane, he too came to a halt. Looking down at Kage’s pitch-black shadow, which lay cast on the sidewalk ahead of the duo, he understood why Kage had stopped. His shadow was actually morphing- no longer taking Kage’s configuration but becoming a shapeless mass of darkness. Kage and Hagane stood there for a few moments, glaring down at the strange creature which lie at their feet, apparently possessing Kage’s shadow. Suddenly, without warning, a pair of intimidating crimson eyes shot open where the thing’s head would be!

“Hagane…do you know anything about this?” Kage asked, surprisingly still able to keep a straight face.

“No. Not at all.” Hagane answered. “But whatever this thing is…I don’t think it’s on our side.”

Then, the shadow itself stopped pulsating altogether. For just a split-second it sat there in a dormant fashion before it actually started to shrink! The black shadow began to retract into one small radius, finally stopping once it was all focused into a small circle on the ground. Taking a step back, Kage quickly realized that the shadow was no longer connected to him, though he had a feeling that it wouldn’t be. Though neither of them looked worried, they did tense up their muscles and prepare themselves for battle. And with good reason. A moment or two after the shadow focused itself into a small area, it started to raise itself off the ground and become a full three-dimensional creature!

As the phantasm grew, it turned itself into the silhouette of an average human being, though kept the ghoulish look of a shadow and still had no details whatsoever. Its red eyes were closed, but not for long. As soon as its feet came out of the asphalt and felt the ground it once resided in, the shadow’s eyes shot open again, glaring right at Kage and Hagane. It stretched its fingers, raising its hand up to its featureless face and looking down at its own hand. Then, throwing its hand back to its side, the creature clenched its fists tightly and took a step forward, letting loose a horrific groaning sound as it did so.

“Who the hell are you?!” Kage demanded courageously, obviously unafraid of the demonic creature standing before him.

“…” For a moment the creature was silent before it let out another moan. “Grooooooooooooaaaaaaaaa”

Hagane and Kage both struck defensive poses, simultaneously raising their arms and spreading their legs apart. Tightening his fists, Hagane focused a portion of energy into his forearms, and the bandages began unwrapping themselves at remarkable speeds. Kage glanced over at Hagane briefly, though focusing on the creature ahead. As the white bandages completely came off and floated to the ground, Hagane spread his fingers apart, revealing what was actually under the bandages- twin Transmutation Circles corresponding with the ones on Hagane’s shirt and Kage’s jacket! It was all coming back to him now…that’s where Hagane kept his Transmutation Circles! And whenever he went into battle, his bandages would fly off making them visible.

The strange creature then leapt forward without any indication of its next move. Pulling its fist back, it threw a punch at Kage first, but he was able to swiftly sidestep the blow with ease. Now in a bent over position, the creature immediately tried to kick Hagane in the stomach. However, Kage’s new ally was actually able to do a back flip to avoid it. As he did so, he snapped his fingers together, causing a spark to appear seemingly out of nowhere. The spark quickly traveled through the air at unbelievable speeds, hitting the phantom and exploding into a burst of white flames on impact! The creature stumbled backward, and Kage delivered a strong kick to its face. The demonic shadow was knocked off its feet, not given any time to retaliate before Hagane snapped his fingers once more, sending yet another spark in the creature’s direction. The spark hit the shadow, causing an explosion identical to the last one.

Still set on fire, the creature stumbled backwards, writhing in pain as it did so. Hagane then clasped the palms of his hands together, causing them to emit a strange white light. Immediately afterward, a tall jagged rock shot up out of the earth! It tore up the asphalt which once covered the ground, jetting upward underneath the creature. The pillar-like rock hit its body with such force, it was actually impaled! Its entire body fell limp, and its menacing crimson eyes for the last time.

Drawing a deep breath, Kage examined the corpse for a moment. However, he didn’t have much time to do so, because just seconds after the shadow closed its eyes, it actually started to disintegrate into a strange black powder! The dust was carried away by a small breeze, and scattered about through the alley. Soon, it wasn’t even visible any longer. Kage and Hagane watched as the remains of the shadowy demon were blown about until they were all but nonexistent.

“Call me crazy, but something tells me there’s more of those…things in the city.” Kage said, looking skyward.

“Agreed. And we should really get out of here, just in case the rest of them come looking for their fallen ally.” Hagane suggested.

Nodding once, Kage and Hagane turned to face the opposite end of the alley. Then, taking one last look back at the “battlefield,” Kage began walking out of the alley and back into the city, their rather short fight luckily having gone completely unnoticed.

Ooc: I hope I accurately portrayed those creatures, Shadows Follower.

New York-Starbucks

"Hey!" Michaela chirpped. "Why don't I show you to...A COFFEE SHOP?!" Reoth froze from looking at all of those cool knick-knacks that Tarah has. "What's a coffee shop?" Michaela rolled her eyes. "A coffee shop is--never mind. I'll just show you."

When Michaela finally reached the coffee shop, Reoth looked up, and then back down. "Why am I wearing this?" Reoth asked Tarah. "Because I don't want people knowing that you're...you're...a...a...fairy." Tarah guided Reoth into the Starbucks. "Wow. So...this is a 'coffee shop'?" Michaela nodded. She ordered something at the order place.

The two girls took a seat. "What's this?" Reoth asked. "..Coffee..." Michaela said. "You drink it." Reoth tried the coffee. "Bleh! It's bitter!"
"For you it is," Michaela murmered.

New York City- Walking the Streets With Hagane

Kage continued toward Times Square casually with Hagane by his side, trying as best he could to pretend that the previous incident hadn't happened. After all, he wouldn't want to attract attention to himself. By this time, Hagane had already wrapped the bandages around his forearms once again, so it was assumed by most people that he was just burned recently or something to that effect. Either way, the point was he and Hagane blended in almost perfectly with the rest of the crowd and Kage hoped he could keep it that way.

"Hey, Hagane, you wanna stop by that Starbucks over there or something?" Kage asked.

"...Starbucks?" Hagane repeated, somewhat confused but still calm as ever.

"Uhh...it's a coffee shop." Kage tried to explain the concept of 'Starbucks' as best he could.

"Yeah...I've never heard of this 'coffee,' either. Sorry, Kage, but I have no prior information about your world other than what was put into my mind when I was created by you." Hagane sighed. "I understand the basics, but nothing more."

"Well...Put simply, coffee is a drink. It's probably a little different than the kind you know of, but the concept is the same." Kage shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets.

So, with that, Kage and Hagane slowly walked up to the Starbucks. Pushing the door open with one hand and keeping the other in his pocket, Kage entered with Hagane just a few inches behind. The two were about to sit down and order some coffee, when Kage noticed two teenaged girls about his age sitting down across from one another. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but there was something odd about one of them. Then, it hit him.

"Hagane...that one girl over there. I don't think she's an ordinary human being. I think she's a...well...whatever you are." Kage whispered to Hagane.

"I know...I can sense a strange energy signature coming from that one. It's somewhat different from mine, but we're of the same dimension I can tell that much." Hagane whispered back. "Luckily, from what I can tell, they're on our side."

"Yeah, something told me they weren't dangerous. We might as well introduce ourselves. They might know something about what's going on, or about that strange creature we just annihilated." Kage said quietly.

Hagane nodded in agreement, and the two started to make their way toward the table which those two girls were sitting at. Hagane surprisingly didn't stick out amongst the other humans and was fitting in pretty well. Kage half-expected him to make a scene, but once he took into consideration Hagane's personality it made sense that he kept a low profile. In a few seconds they'd reached the two girls. Kage stood beside their table with Hagane standing silently beside him.

"Hey, my name's Kage Mugendai." Kage said coolly.

Michaela looked up. "My name's Michaela DeAlister. Just call me Tarah." Michaela had no idea who this guy was. Nor did Reoth. Reoth was more attached to the other guy Kage had with him. "Hi," Reoth said, shyly. "I'm Reoth. Who are you?" The two girls were flirting with the two boys. Before Reoth knew it, Michaela was totally talking about her dog, Timid. "Do you know what's a dog?" Retoh asked Hagane.

An hour later, the four people were still at Starbucks. Michaela leaned over to Reoth and wishpered, "Do you know what's going on?"
"No." Reoth replied.
"We're, like, totally flirting."
"What's flirting?"
"Flirting is when your talking to a guy and you're totally into him."
"Ohhh...I still don't get it."
"Sigh. I mean, you like the guy and you're talking to him, almost non-stop."
"Ohh...I get it know. A little more."
Reoth asked Michaela,"Do you know who Shakira is?"
"Yeah! She's a famous singer!" Michaela replied.
"Why is it so busy?" Reoth asked.
"Because of exams and stuff like that." Reoth knew what an exam was, though.
"I have so much to learn."

Tony and Htonor have been walking for a while. It seems strange to Tony that he dosent feel strange around his new friend. Its like its totally natural. Well it did actually seem to be part of him.... In a way.. Htonor was constantly looking at stuff and asking questions.

"Why do you need lights to control this traffic?" Htonor asked turning to face Tony.

"Because people need order in this world..... without order that can happen"
Tony points at a recently crashed vehicle. It is against a curb and looks almost totalled. There is also many cops around it.

"Now come one Htonor I left some stuff at Starbucks" Tony said hastily as he ran back to the cafe. It wasnt long before the two partners reached the Starbucks. But before they could enter, Htonor asked

"What is Starbucks?"
With a sigh he replied "A coffe shop" as he pushed the doors open.

But his eyes widened and he stopped dead in his tracks as he sensed others here like him.

"Hagane..." Kage whispered to his ally while the two girls were talking.

"Yes...?" Hagane whispered back.

"I think they're flirting with us." Kage answered as though he weren't exactly sure what to say next.

"...Flirting?" Hagane inquired.

"It means they...well...I'll tell you later." Kage sighed. "But put very, VERY simply, flirting is when a girl keeps you somewhere longer than you had originally intended."

The boy glanced back at the two girls, particularly the human. He really hadn't intended to stay at Starbucks for one hour. Especially considering all that had happened that day. He'd hoped that the girls, or at least one of them, would know something about the events which had taken place. However, they seemed to be just as clueless as Kage and Hagane were. Apparently, Reoth knew no more about the human world than Hagane did, and 'Tarah' didn't appear to know anything about Reoth's origins or why she was sent here. Still, the two of them seemed very kind, and Kage just...didn't feel like leaving for whatever reason.

<I've gotta admit, though...this is all very confusing. Apparently there are more like me and Hagane. And I wonder what exactly this Reoth can do. Hagane can perform alchemy and seems to have enhanced speed...so she must have some sort of ability. > Kage thought, then started talking with 'Tarah' once again.

Kage was about to ask 'Tarah' if she knew anything about Hagane and Reoth, when the door to the Starbucks swung open once again. And, yet again, two people walked inside before the door closed itself. Of course, ordinarily, Kage wouldn't have paid it any mind, nor would Hagane. But there was something different about these two...Hagane noticed it first. Glancing back at the two, he looked to focus on them for a second or two before his suspicions were confirmed. He then turned to face Kage.

<I'll inform Kage of this later. > Hagane thought, looking at his ally, who actually seemed to be enjoying 'Tarah's company, and likewise she seemed to be enjoying his. <He can probably sense it, as well. >

Hagane was correct. Kage did sense the strange energy in the air. He could've approached the two at any time, but he didn't. Rather he chose to stay and talk to 'Tarah.' Even if she didn't know anything about what was going on, Kage figured that chances were neither did the other two who just entered.

<Meh...they'll probably still be here when I'm finished talking with 'Tarah.' > Kage thought, half-smiling...

Michaela kept talking with Kage and Reoth kepr talking woth Hagane. Michaela took a glance at her watch. "Well, I have some time. Hopefully, Clairyssa won't be so mad if I'm a few minutes late." Reoth turned to Tarah. "Who's Clairyssa?"
"My friend."
"Really?"
"Uh, yeah!"
"What's that?" Reoth pointed to Michaela's watch.
"It's a watch. It tells you what time it is. So far, it's 8:00, so far."
"That's cool." There was one thing that Reoth didn't know: Was she and Hangane kind of related to each other? Were they the same species?
Michaela turned back to "talk" to Kage. "Don't worry," She said. "We're not flirting with you. It's called 'bonding'."
Reoth turned to Tarah, again. "What's bonding?"
Michaela sighed."It's when you get to know people better." Michaela turned to Kage. "Till what time are ou planning to leave?" She asked him.
"It really seems busy here tonight." Reoth pointed out.
