What pokemon are good for beating these 2? I'm using a lvl 40 wailmer, a lvl 35 sharpedo, a caturne lvl 34 and a seviper lvl 32 and a maril. The wailmer and sharpedo are the only ones to get off any attacks, the rest just get wasted with some single hit attack despite having the super effective advantage. Curious to know what others have beat her with.

well I have this good strategy. I tried to use and combination of Blaziken and Swellow, my two best. i fialded many times then came up with a new strategy that i won with. Train your two best until there like in the 50's then make them gang up on one of either pokemon. it's very effective, trust me. Have the rest as backup

Where do I come up with a flygon? And does solrock or lunatone know earthquake? Part of my problem is getting rid of that pesky bird. I can't send out seviper or megcentric(sp?) untill I get rid of claydol for sure. Earthquake will take either in one shot. And there's really no good place in the area to level up a dark or water type.

trapinch evovles into flygon. trapichis are in the desert. just have a flygon and a sharpedo and have sharpedo use crunch and have flygon use crunch also

yes we all know flygon is dragon ground, but flygon has the levitate ability wich makes claydols eq miss and it learns crunch by level up.

If you have a Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir with IMPRISON (with Psychic/Calm Mind in its moveset) it will really help you stop Liza and Tate from using the Psychic attack.

You could just use two dark types and then maybe a couple of water types ;249-d;

I used my swampert and vabrava against it surf vs. sol/clay/lun and cruch against xatu also surf hurts alot! 95 power weeeeee!

wailord:surf, ice beam (emerald only)
tropius: solar beam, sunny day, synthesis
sableye: shadow ball
cacturne: double team, needle arm, faint attack

If their all around lv 40 you should win easy

I used 1 Glalie at level 42.
I used Crunch and it got rid of more than half damage on Lunatone&Solrock,then on Claydol&Xatu,The battle was easy considering the both had a weakness to Ice Types

Use a Lairon/Aggron and Sharpedo. I had them at Level 35 and still beat them both in one hit [RS only]. Use Iron Tail on Lunatone and Surfs to knock them out. That's how I won.

Train your Cacturne and sharpedo till they learn strong dark type moves like Crunch and Faint Attack(Faint attack never misses)

Cacturne can learn grass/bug type moves by leveling up, which will do good against Tate and Liza. Needle Arm will work wonders on Lunatone and Solrock. Sharpedo's Surf and Crunch shall do wonders on Lunatone and Solrock too. Cacturne's Faint Attack will work wonders too. Keep those two for Lunatone and Solrock. Use others against Claydol and Xatu.

My Mighteyena was EXTREMELY useful as the Xatu could only use Psychic when I taunted it and the Lunatone kept flinching from bite.

Am I to understand that Tate&Liza have 4 pokemon in Emerald? In sapphire they only have Lunatone and Solrock......
