What?

Honestly, that looks cool and all, but that can never count as a banner. A banner has to have a minimum 2:1 width:height ratio. A banner has to be 486*100 pixels. That exceeds the limit far too much. That is not a banner, it's just an image.

It looks pretty cool, it would've been better with some type of picture there. ^^ I like the blend of colors too.

It looks awesome! I don't think it'd be suitable as a banner... it's too big... ^^; And yeah, it'd look even cooler if some picture was in it! I also like the effects and colors in the background. ^^

It's very pretty. *_* Photoshop?

I love the blending and color choice thingy.

How do you put that "diagonal-line" effect? XD

well, i figured out how to do it after drooling onto other banners which had the effect. I was jealous. So, after viewing a tut that applied it as a texture, I tried to apply it as a pattern. unfortunately, I wasn't using the right size.

Answer: Create a new photoshop file, 7 x 7 pixels. Draw diagonal lines on it. Strait diagonal lines. Not just one, but 5. the file below shows it to you, but it got blurred, so you'll have to redo it.

That's still not a banner.

Again, it's too tall, and too wide. It doesn't follow the 2:1 width:height ratio. And it still exceeds the 486*100 pixel limit.

But it does make a pretty cool looking picture, despite the fact that you mistermed it as a banner.

Stop lolling.

As the others said, those aren't banners. They're images. I-M-A-G-E-S. Repeat. Six times.
Dispite that truth, they are appealing :D. I like.
