I wanted to see how much starter teams actually sucked, so I strung together a team that seems to be doing alright... with a little luck.

Typhlosion (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 96 HP / 8 Def / 152 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Substitute
- Thunderpunch

Meta/Skarm/Mence/Forry/most other leads killer. Sub for predictions and crap. Switch to Spert if Tar comes out.

Sceptile (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 40 Def / 216 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Leaf Blade
- Leech Seed
- Substitute

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 84 HP / 140 Atk / 42 Def / 28 SAtk / 216 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Blaziken (F) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 180 Spd / 76 SAtk

You know I love Reversaling pokes. Earthquake/Focus Punch over HP Grass? If so I'd have to change around Jolteon and it always give mence a nice suprise.

Espeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 36 HP / 220 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psychic

Recieves subs from Jolt. Celebi is a ***, so HP Fire.

Had replaced the special Venusaur set.

Jolteon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Blah Blah standard. Had replaced Blastoise (IB, Surf, Yawn, and Rapid Spin, Yawn can phaze better than Haze in my opinion... It forces Blissey and other walls to switch) it was a difficult decision though... Modest Jolteon is pretty deadly in my opinion.

You can say it... Areo/Ttar weak. More like pokémon weak.

you know, I like the fact that you say that your swampert is standard when it gets 2hkoed by cbmence..so more like relaxed, max hp and 260-270 def, rest in satk to actually be able to switch into mence and ttar

hp fire is **** on espeon when you can just sub in celebi's face and cm up while it can't do anything to you

also typhlosion gets focus punch so you might want to use it to actually have a chance at hurting bliss/lax on the switch

and you don't really need hp grass on blaziken; if swampert switches in on you then you're ****ed anyway, since hp grass won't ko, just go swords dance, because sd'd reversal will most likely kill it, and put hp grass on jolteon then
