Ok in your humble opinions what pokemon would you consider to look most like a dragon? Examples are Charizard, Gyarados, ect...

I want to know cause I want to have a game with nothing but dragon type and dragon look alikes :) ;249-d;

Intresting question :p I think huntail could be a sea dragon :/ or at least sort off. Can't a big Sea snake be a dragon too? eventhough it resembles an eel more than a dragon :/

EDITZ: I actually got the pokemon list so i can spot the dragonlike pokeys easily:
Steelix could pass as a wingless dragon( forgot their name)

Lapras could be a dragon type too, ( if you consider the LochNess monster a dragon)

Sceptile could be one too, being lizardy and all ( maybe even feraligatr)

That's all for now

Since you just asked what Pokémon we consider to LOOK most like a dragon, here's my opinions.

Charizard, Gyarados, Rayqauza.. Milotic.. and probably some more I can't name from the top of my head right now. >_o

There are more, and I think those that I've named are already considered as dragons to Nintendo.. save Rayquaza because it already is a dragon. But Charizard learns Dragon Rage naturally, Gyarados with Dragon Dance and maybe something else (never used it) and Milotic learns Twister. And I think all of them can learn Dragonbreath or something dragon by egg moves.

Sceptile, I don't know.. I guess it is lizard-related, but I'm not sure myself. And dragons are probably closely related to lizards or something. But that's all from me, for now. *shrug*

if you want dragons then maybe those will be good:
charizard (supposed to be one)
gyrados (looks almost like dragons)
lapras (supposed to be one or almost)
sceptile (since it can learn dragon claw then maybe it could be a nonwinged dragon)
aerodactyl (supposed to be one)
rayquaza
dragonite
salamence
flygon (not effected by Elictric and ground moves so its perfect for battles)
Altaria
Tyranitar (must be one)
Milotic (looks almost like a dragon)

Salamence, Charizard, Gyarados, Flygon look most like dragons.

Milotic looks like one of those neat water dragons.

*prays* Please don't let Charizard Fire God find this thread...

Here's my list of dragon look-alikes (that aren't actually Dragon-type)...

Sceptile: Very...lizardish. Kind of a forest/land dragon. Plus, it can learn Dragon Claw and Dragonbreath (by breeding).
Gyarados: Most draconic Water Pokémon I know, even more so than Kingdra, in my opinion (even if it's not Dragon-type). I mean, seriously...Just look at it! It has "monstrous sea serpent" written all over it. o.o
Milotic: Not as beastly as Gyarados, but still a sea dragon nonetheless.
Feraligatr: It's somewhat draconic...It can learn Dragon Claw, and it has some rather dragonish characteristics.
Aerodactyl: Looks SO much like a dragon. Lance used one too. It can pass off as a Rock dragon.
Lapras: Another Water dragon...Meh, it's kinda dinosaur-ish, but still. =/
Charizard: It's a given, really. =/ It's the most dragon-like Pokémon I know of that's not actually a Dragon-type.
Seviper: I would count snake-like Pokémon as draconic. *le-shrug*
Arbok: Same as Seviper.
Lugia: Definitely looks like a dragon. In G/S/C, in Ecruteak City, there was a guy that claimed he saw a huge Pokémon block out the sun, and he said it was like a bird and a dragon. I think Lugia has more dragon in him than bird.

Yep.

Going by what Dragon Tamers in the Battle Dome use, this is a list of all draconic Pokemon:

Scyther (its head is very reptilian)
Tyranitar
Dratini Line
Salamence
Flygon
Altaria
Lati@s
Rayquaza
Ampharos (well, the Japanese name has the word for dragon in it)
Charizard *retch*
Gyarados
Aerodactyl
Skarmory (well, a Dragon Tamer had one)
Lugia (she looks pretty draconic)
Tropius
Arcanine (again, Dragon Tamer)
Sceptile
Nidoking/queen (dragon tamers again)
Onix
Rhyhorn/don
Groudon
Lapras
Kangaskhan
Arbok
Seviper
Slowbro
Aggron
Seadra
Feraligatr
Milotic
Kyogre

So, I give you the definitive list of every Pokemon that looks even vaguely draconic, which is probably waaayyyy too long! 8D

Really and truly
Like everyone else, I agree on Chaizard being dragon-like.
If a winged, fire-breathing lizard isn't a dragon, what is? Except for the fire on the tail and shape of its torso, I was surprised when I heard it was actually Fire/Flying.

Gyrados, too, seems like a dragon, being sea-serpent, which I believe is a member of the draconic family. I mean, in what way is it a flying type? It can't fly!

I totally disagree with Lugia being Flying/Psychic. As much as I like Psychic types, it seems like a dragon-like creature that lives in the water, which is why I think it should be Water/Dragon. I know it's a weird type combination, but it does make sense, especially after we learn in Pokémon 2000 that it likes in the sea.

Rayquaza seems a bit draconic as well. It's also more serpentine, but it could pass as a dragon, especially with the shape of its head.

First of all, lizards and reptiles =/= dragons, people. these are the pokemon I'd say:
Dragonite
Charizard
Charmeleon also fits well enough
Salamence
Gyrados- Oriental
Rayquaza- Oriental
Flygon
Aerodactyl, even though it's more dinosaurian
Lugia- no one's sure exactly what it is, but it looks like a dragon/bird more or less

The other Dragon types and suggestions I find to be rather random and not dragon-like at all.

All the actual Dragon Pokemon (emphasis on Dragonite), Charizard, Tropius(?), Gyarados, Huntail, Lugia... the list goes on...

Pretty much anything from the dragon egg group, I guess... that's kinda why the egg groups exist like that, for pokemon that look alike but have completely different types
Plus all the ones mentionned above, of course

I believe that the Onix family are dragons, being that snake-like creatures are draconic. I also believe that the Aron family is draconic, also, due to the fact that they have some monster-dragon characteristics.

Dunsparce could be a dragon...

it's a snake with wings...
