Well if it's Kids WB's Pokemon, then fine, cancel it. It's been destroyed completely because of the dubbing anyway. -.-

That was sarcasm by the way, of course I know it's just moving to a new channel. :p

Kids WB Pokemon is the only Pokemon show that americans can watch. This forum is going to get a lot more inactive.

POKEMON. IS. NOT. CANCELLED.

First, we have a thread on this. Second, the article says NOTHING about Pokemon being cancelled, but being moved off the channel. Another channel will probably pick it up for it's 9th season, all of which is speculation at this point.

Cartoon Network has been playing old episodes of pokemon for awhile now. Thats why a lot of people think it will be going to that channel. I hope it goes to another local channel. This thread should be closed though.

Do you know how television works? Lots of networks would be insane to pass up easy-money like the Pokemon anime. It was the highest rated anime show on Saturday mornings, someone is bound to pick it up.

CN isn't known to make the wisest business moves, however. I mean, Teen Titans was cancelled at its peak point of viewer interest, and if they didn't have Ben 10 ready to go as buffer space, they'd be screwed. That said, they're still a likely possibility. Although they'll probably air half the season every day in two consecutive months on Miguzi, have a four-month break, air the second half for another two months, and then have another four-month break before Season 10.

Cartoon Network isn't going to buy any shows. CN is stupid, they cancel good shows like Samurai Jack, even though it was popular. Kids WB holds on to shows untill they get unpopular, just like Pokemon did. That's why it was canceled. Shows don't last for ever. If you're such a big fanboy, download the japaneese version with subtitles.

^ Pokemon was the most popular show on KidsWb, getting better ratings than most of its other shows.

I'm also curious if we'll still have 52 episode seasons, we may only get 26 episode seasons on whatever new network it continues on.

Boy, we'll REALLY fall behind the Japanese version that way huh?
