It is real, in a way. The designers just made two Pokemon out of it.

Most of those are just early designs of real Pokemon. But it kinda interesting to see what they had in mind, like floppy ear Torchic and slug Chikorita.

I like the unused GS starters.

I would of been weirded out I think by the Torchic with large ears if they made it.

I've seen them.
I think they look cool, except for the Chikorita one, which looks freaky...
The Blaziken/Latias one looks awesome. Too bad that it wasn't used as a whole.

These look pretty awesome, though I'm glad they were changed to what we know them as today. ._. Torchic's floppy ears look weird.

I actually liked the Torchic that way. But the Latias/Blaziken is actually strange, it just looks like someone couldn't figure out the proportions for it..

And yeah, the Chickorita thing is kinda freaky. o.e

Um, no it isn't. These are early ideas for Pokemon/early versions of real Pokemon. They're just designs that the creators altered or never used. Missingno only exists because of a computing error.

Fun Fact: There were actually 180 pokemon planned for Red and Blue, but only 151 made it to the final game. There are also 39 glitch pokemon in Red and Blue.

I like Kurusu. I looks like some sorta seal with horns . This is not on the list, but there was a beta Pokemon to be released in Black and White based on the world's first cloned sheep. Aparentlly Game Freak thought the Pokemon would be too contreversal. Personally think it would of been cool. They ended up scrapping it. Actually, I don't think GF got that far with it. But ya, on the list, most of 'em are pretty sweet. I like the Fire Pikachu thingy.
