You've done dithering and shading on RBG, don't do that.
Almost all your Pokemon have extra colours eys, body parts etc. Take the total down to 4.
Except for that, it's great! ^^

Meh, they're O.K. They're mostly just recolors though...

and if I'm not mistaken I think RBG only has one color besides white and black for shading...

^You are mistaking. They have black, white, and one (usually dull) color in two shades.
Okay, most of these are basically recolors. You want to heavily modify the shading to look like it's from that generation.
For the RB, you need to use the correct colors. They only have black, white, and one color with two shades. That means, for Feebas for instance, you'd only have black, white, light yellow, and darker yellow. You also don't want to use much dithering (every-other-dot shading) for RBY, because they didn't have much of it.

Yellow has the same color rules as RB, so look at those. For the shading, you want to put very little black and white used as shading, since those colors were only used for small hilights and the lowest areas where no light reaches. For RBY, you also want to add light spots on the outline. If you look at most old sprites, they have several pixels of the darker color shade dotting the edges of the outline to help smooth them out on white backgrounds.

The GSC ones look better, for the most part. Like RBY, they only use four colors, but theirs are black, white, and two seperate (usually very bright) colors rather than one color in two shades, and you need to follow that "rule." Other than that, you want to use a lot of dithering with black and white with the main body color to create gilights an shadows.

With some more effort, you'll become a better spriter, but these right now are mostly recolors and outline changes.
